Artros är en folksjukdom som kan påverka alla leder i kroppen. Artros i händerna är vanligast bland kvinnor. Enligt rådande forskning ger denna form av artros en stor inverkan på vardagliga aktiviteter, men det beskrivs inget om på vilket sätt det påverkar. Syftet med studien var således att belysa hur kvinnor med artros i händerna upplevde konsekvenser i vardagliga aktiviteter. Kvalitativ ansats användes och metoden var semistrukturerad intervju.

Möbelbranschen i Sverige utmärks av ett fåtal stora aktörer som historiskt innehar majoriteten av marknadsandelarna. Men dessa marknadsandelar har blivit mindre med åren och ger plats för nya aktörer på marknaden.

Information is one of the organization's essential resources, and as such it needs strategic management. The authors use the information audit, which was developed by Orna 1999 and Henczel 2000 as a tool to evaluate how well an organization's information activities connect to its mission, goals, and objectives, to evaluate the municipal politicians' information support in Härryda municipality. The decision situations met by politicians often are complex; they are ambiguous and unstructured, with a high level of uncertainty. Human information sources meet needs arising in this kind of decision situations best. Since most of the politicians work full-time besides being politicians, Härryda municipality has to substitute the human sources by textual ones composed of highly summarized information.

The purpose with this degree thesis was to investigate the preschool teacher´s view onchildrens´s influence in preschool routine situations. The target group for this study ispreschool teacher´s that currently are working with children that are 1 ? 5 years of age. To manage to answer the aim of this study semi-structured interviews were conducted. I have performed interviews with five preschool teacher´s that currently work in a preschool that is situated in a medium sized city, in the county Värmland, Sweden.

This paper develops a theory for understanding negotiation situations involving states and indigenous peoples. Using relevant constructivist theory as a starting point, the paper develops a theory about understanding the relationship between power and culture implicit in the concept of the state. This relationship is examined in negotiations situations involving states and indigenous peoples. States are constituted by social structure and are representatives of the national culture. At the same time states are actors within the international system and a part of the culture of Westphalia.

Syfte: Huvudsyftet med uppsatsen är att redogöra för ett internationellt företags marknadsföringsstrategi på den europeiska marknaden, i det här fallet Volvos, sett ur ett standardiserings- och anpassningsperspektiv. Metod: Vi har genomfört en litteraturstudie för att få en teoretisk grund för arbetet. Därefter utfördes en empirisk studie av Volvo med hjälp av intervjuer med anställda på företaget samt med nyckelpersoner på reklam- och mediabyråer. Vid analysen av Volvos marknadsföring har vi även använt oss av reklamfilmer och annat material från företaget. Resultatet från den empiriska studien sattes i relation till de aktuella teorierna.

Uppsatsens syfte har varit att undersöka fritidspedagogers och elevers uppfattningar om hur fritidshem kan anpassas efter elever med fysisk funktionsnedsättning, samt diskutera vilken problematik som kan uppstå vid utebliven eller för liten anpassning. Undersökningen har tagit utgångspunkt i frågeställningarna: Hur kan elever med fysisk funktionsnedsättning uppleva att fritidshemmet anpassas? Vilken problematik ser fritidshemslärare vid utebliven eller för liten anpassning för elever med fysisk funktionsnedsättning på fritidshemmet? och Hur ser fritidshemslärare på att använda sig av åtgärdsprogram för elever med funktionsnedsättning, på fritidshemmet? Vi diskuterar dessutom hur fritidshemslärare skulle kunna delta mer i utformning av åtgärdsprogram. Undersökningen som vi gjort har genomförts på två olika fritidshem där uppsatsens empiri bygger på information insamlad genom intervjuer och enkäter. Utifrån uppsatsens syfte menade vi att denna metod skulle ge mest användbar information då vi ville ta reda på personers individuella och personliga upplevelser. Resultatet av undersökningen har dokumenterats genom inspelning av intervjuerna och transkriberingen.

Introduction: About 160 children with Down syndrome are born each year in Sweden. They will spend their first time in life at the neonatal departments around the country. Previous research has shown that parents in these situations have experienced an unsatisfying behaviour from the caregivers and that they are not getting the care they desire. However the research that reflects the nurses? role in these situations is sparsely studied.

Children who have fled to Sweden, without their parents or guardians, have been a controversial subject during the winter of 2002. Their situations on refugeestations and the responsibiliy by community and the state have been discussed. My composition is about these children. The composition is not about the situations of the children - focus is instead on the people who operate with the children; community, state and organisations. I want to find empirical levels which show what the children associate with.

This is a life story about a man, Victor, and his life. He was born into a family of travellers, this has been a very important part of his upbringing, socializing and how society has viewed him.The purpose of this essay is to discuss how a society's values, and the changes in these values, are manifested in a life story. A person?s identity is created in the situations one is in and in the relationships with ones social contacts. A person has not just one, but several different identities that coexist and are highlighted depending on the situations in which we find ourselves.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the problems in multilingual thesauri, with a focus on the problem of conceptual equivalence between different languages. This study compares the problems and solutions that have been carried out in the Eurovoc multilingual thesaurus with the ISO 5964 ISO 5964 is a guideline for establishment and development of multilingual thesauri. The Swedish descriptors in the subject area "education and communication", from Eurovoc have been observed and compared with the guidelines recommendations. The results show that, the majority of the investigated Swedish descriptors do not present any problem. Most of the terms that are used as descriptors are found in dictionaries and glossaries or appear with high frequency in Swedish websites.

SyfteStudiens syfte var att undersöka hur tre lärare arbetar med den första läs- och skrivinlärningen med tanke på barns behov av individuell anpassning. Tonvikten kom att ligga på hur lärare skapar gynnsamma förhållanden för läs- och skrivinlärning, hur de upptäcker samt förebygger läs- och skrivsvårigheter.MetodSom metod användes halvstrukturerade intervjuer där tre lärare med 15-45 års erfarenhet av läs- och skrivundervisning intervjuades.ResultatResultatet överensstämmer väl med forskning inom området. Informanterna framhöll vikten av att tidigt stimulera barnens språkutveckling på ett lustfyllt och betydelsefullt sätt, t.ex. genom att arbeta med barnens fonologiska medvetenhet. Lärarnas arbetssätt var komplexa och varierande.

The term maneuver warfare is frequently used in western defense doctrines and theoreticaltextbooks. The ambition of the Swedish armed forces is to attempt maneuver warfare in allappropriate situations. Theories and doctrines indicate the importance of decentralized command and control systems. Mission command (Auftragstaktik) is one such system and should be applied to all situations of the Swedish Armed Forces. There are theoretical and doctrinal bases for warfare and command, but in practice, what are the preconditions for this? Previous research addresses many theoretical questions but there are flaws in existing studies investigating practical realities.The purpose of this study has been to reach a deeper understanding of armed forces ability to maneuver warfare by analyzing conformity of command and leadership perspectives in practice.This is an interview-based qualitative case study in which respondent´s statements were analyzed and interpreted in relation to a theoretical framework.

In this study we have investigated how care users in a nursing home experience their possibilities for influence and treatment from the staff. The study was conducted through focus group interviews with six participants who we met on four occasions. Questions the study departs from are: How do users experience their opportunity to influence? How do the users experience the treatment from the staff? The study has a qualitative approach and has been analyzed by means of symbolic interactionism, with an emphasis on the Self. Our results demonstrate that in situations of good treatment there is also a good influence.

The purpose of this study was to assess which basic principles collide when home care service users have requests about how their help is going to be performed. The requests involve gender and ethnicity of the personnel. The study is based on the experiences and reflections of the managers regarding this issue.As the study is focused on the reflections of the managers, I have used a qualitative research method based on interviews. I have also used two case examples as a compliment (vignettes).I was interested to explore how the managers reasoned and argued about gender and ethnicity of the personnel, and their importance in home care situations. I have investigated whether it is considered to be appropriate that the service users chose if a man or a woman helps them in intimate situations (such as showers), and if they are entitled to refuse to receive home care services from people with a different ethnic background.
