Våga se en förövare! :  - En jämförande kvalitativ studie om insatser för män som utövar våld i heterosexuella relationer

The aim of this study was to examine and compare two municipalities? approaches to deal with men?s violence as a social problem. Further the aim was to analyze social workers? opinions about interventions for men who practice violence in heterosexual relationships. The study has got a qualitative approach and we did a subjective selection where we chose to apply semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with domestic violence.

The purpose of this bachelor?s thesis is to examine how students at Högskolan i Borås experience the web-scale discovery service Summon, based on the theoretical model of ?The Five Dimensions of Usability?, defined by Whitney Quesenbery. The study aims to answer the following research questions: How do the students execute search assignments in the Summon interface? How intuitive and easy to navigate is the system from a user perspective? What are the students? opinions about Summon, regarding usability?Five students with varying information seeking skills are asked to perform search assignments during controlled observation, followed by semi-structured interviews. Our findings are presented in the context of previous research and show correspondence with the results of related studies.

Åt var och en efter behov? Kriminalitet som markör för olika behandlingsalternativ

The aim of this study was to, using previously collected data from self-declared antisocial behaviour questionnaires, examine if the crime frequency has been different between adolescents that have either been referred to two different forms of open care in social service, child and youth psychiatric inpatient care or have been sent to Homes for Specialised Supervision. The criminality frequency and the most common crimes committed were compared between the study groups and further between genders in each particular study group. Statistical significance testing was used and the results of the survey revealed that juvenile delinquents that had committed severe criminal acts were represented in all four groups. The study group with adolescents in national care was the most different from other groups. These youths seemed to have had a lower crime frequency than the other groups with the exception assault and robbery.

The countryside companies meet some difficulties in marketing and communication with other entrepreneurs. A network with service based companies in the countryside could help the individual companies to promote themselves and also give inspiration and new ideas to develop their business. The aim of this study is to investigate how a countryside network can be organized but also what conditions is needed to make the network function. The theory is based on a literature study of the three major topics "countryside", "networking" and "marketing".

The law change will probably have an effect in the number of ways real-estate brokers will compete as a result of the increasing variety of services offered. Intäktsredovisning i tjänsteföretag ? En studie över olikheterna i intäktsredovisningen för onoterade tjänsteföretag med liknande tjänster

Laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles hold options on how companies should recognize revenue. Generally accepted accounting principles are determined by standard-setting bodies as the Accounting Standards Board and the Financial Supervisory Authority, which is influenced by international standard-setting bodies as the IASB. Service revenue is generally recognized when performance is completed, but there are variations in when a performance is considered complete. The different accounting options available create difficulties in comparing companies over time and between companies, which in turn creates difficulties to achieve a true and fair view. By clarifying what methods and principles in accounting for service income the unlisted companies in Sweden are using and why these differences exist, we have been able to study how the comparability and the true and fair view is affected by these differences.

Personer med annat modersmål än svenska och bibliotekets service : En attitydstudie på Ålidhemsbiblioteket i  Umeå

Syftet för utvärderingen är att, genom en enkätundersökning, försöka besvara hur nöjda besökare med annat modersmål än svenska är med Ålidhemsbibliotekets verksamhet. Utvärderingen utgår från två huvudsakliga frågeställningar: [1] Vilka är användarna i den aktuella målgruppen? [2] Hur upplever personer med annat modersmål än svenska biblioteket på Ålidhem? Informanterna i undersökningen talar elva olika språk och kommer från fjorton olika länder. Det vanligaste språket bland informanterna i undersökningen är arabiska. Det är en jämn köns- och åldersfördelning bland informanterna i undersökningen, men biblioteket har bara ett fåtal besökare i åldersgruppen mellan 20 till 30 år.

Our study shows if and how Swedish public service television has changed its content from the time when SVT had monopoly until this day when the competition is greater than ever. We got an insight in what has been presented to the audience by studying TV schedules from 1975 to 2009. The study examines four weeks during the years when the two main channels SVT1 and SVT2 have been broadcasting. One week each of these following years have been examined: 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2009. These years have been chosen to get an insight in what content the TV schedules presented before and after SVT got competition in the Swedish TV market.

I denna rapport undersöker vi om en personal shopper tjänst är bra att införa i en modekedja med en bred målgrupp inom lågprissegmentet. Vi samarbetar med Gina Tricots huvudkontor där vi ska utveckla tjänsten tillsammans med Fredrik Appelqvist, retail ansvarig på Gina Tricot. I rapporten tar vi reda på om målgruppen är intresserad av tjänsten och hur de i så fall vill att den ska vara utformad. Detta för att se om det är ett strategiskt val för modekedjan Gina Tricot att starta upp en personal shopper tjänst ute i butik.I detta arbete har vi tillämpat några modeller för att undersöka på vilket sätt kunderna tar sina köpbeslut. Modellerna används för att se vart personal shoppern kan komma in och påverka kundens köpbeslut, för att kunden ska bli nöjd och sprida en positivitet om företaget.

Our surroundings are currently vulnerable. People can not know when or how to expect nor prepare for a disaster or an accident. The purpose of this essay was to perform a study of the organization and accessibility of psychological and social support in a crisis situation within the community of Lund.To be able to carry out this study we put up a couple of questions that we hoped would guide us, for example; how do the community prepare and set up the service for people in need of support in connection to a crisis situation? As a method we have used qualitative interviews and literature.The results of our study have shown a discrepancy between the ways the community organizes their service for people in a crisis situation caused either by a catastrophe or an untimely death. In case of an untimely death, ordinary resources are estimated to be sufficient while in case of a catastrophe, extraordinary resources are required.

Denna studie unders?ker samverkan mellan l?rare i fritidshem och klassl?rare och utforskar huruvida det finns en balans i utbytet av st?d mellan de b?da verksamheterna. Genom att analysera de semistrukturerade intervjuerna vi gjort med l?rare fr?n b?da grupperna med hj?lp av relevant litteratur och tidigare forskning, unders?ks olika aspekter av samverkan mellan de olika yrkesrollerna. Intervjuerna som pekar p? bristande samverkan kan ha att g?ra med brist p? gemensam planeringstid, samt att l?rare i fritidshem ofta f?r fungera som resurspedagoger i klassrummet, vilket m?nga g?nger ing?r i deras tj?nster. Detta kan j?mf?ras med L?roplanen f?r grundskolan, f?rskoleklassen och fritidshemmet (Lgr22, 2022, s.16) som betonar vikten av samverkan mellan olika akt?rer f?r att fr?mja elevernas utveckling och l?rande.
