Syftet med min studie är att se hur lärare arbetar med elever som har dyslexi med anknytning till skönlitterär läsning. Studien är en fördjupning i vad motivation är och hur lärare kan arbeta med hjälp av sina pedagogiska verktyg till att uppnå målet att motivera till läsning. Tre djupgående intervjuer står i fokus i uppsatsen som visar hur det kan se ut ute i skolverksamheten. Mina frågeställningar som ligger till grund för arbetet är: hur motiverar svensklärarna elever med dyslexi till att ägna sig åt skönlitterär läsning? och hur kan lärare utveckla sitt lärarskap för att skapa en trygg och intresseväckande relation mellan eleverna och skönlitteraturen? Resultatet av min studie visar att pedagogernas uppfattning om elevernas inställning till skönlitterär läsning är negativ men att lärarna arbetar aktivt för att motivera dem genom olika pedagogiska strategier som korta texter, humor, diskussioner, tekniska hjälpmedel med mera.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how former pupils in a daycareschool experienced there stay, in relation to the ordinary school. The method we used was an qualitative interview study with former pupils of a daycareschool. We have analyzed the result with help of Goffmans theory about stigma, Beckers labeling theory, Antonovskys SOC (a Sense Of Coherence) concept and Gjaerums theory of controlling. After analyzing the results we came to the conclution that the pupils where stigmatized and labeled as deviants in the ordinary school whilst in the daycareschool they got an enhanced SOC and a feeling of control. Due to the daycareschool?s work with these pupils they no longer sees as stigmatized and labeled..

Syftet med denna studie var att utvärdera Perrongen, en insats med kvalificerade kontaktpersoner för ungdomar i riskzonen för missbruk eller social problematik, och följa upp de ungdomar som medverkat i insatsen. 8 ungdomar deltog i den kvalitativa studien, och intervjuades under ungefär en timme vardera om deras bakgrund, insatstid och om livet efter insatsen med utgångs-punkt i ungdomarnas familj och nätverk. Resultatet var övervägande positivt, och samtliga ungdomar lever idag ett, i olika grader, betydligt mer hälsosamt liv än vid perioden för insatsen. .

Den vanligaste orsaken till amputation är cirkulationsstörningar som vanligtvis orsakas av diabetes. Förlust av kroppsdel kan vara förödande och kräver en förmåga att anpassa sig till den nya situationen. Syftet med studien var att belysa de svårigheter en amputerad person kan utsättas för samt hur dessa svårigheter hanteras. Metoden var litteraturstudie med kvalitativ ansats baserad på sju vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades utifrån manifest innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att en förändrad kropp medför känslomässiga, fysiska och sociala svårigheter som påverkade känslan av helhet efter en amputation.

The overall purpose of this study has its starting point in theories about the consuming society and its advertising. I have examined what kinds of methods that are being used in TV-commercials for beauty products, to influence the consumers. To study advertising, a semiotic method, symbolic interactionism and other theories which discuss symbols and influences, have been used. Six different TV-commercials for beauty products have been examined.The results from this study indicate that the advertiser apply to feelings such as, happiness, a sense of satisfaction, status and success, to affect the consumers behaviour. The findings in this research are discussed in the light of different theories which deal with the significance and the meaning of symbols..

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att kommunicera med patienter som har kommunikationsnedsättningar. Studien baserades på nio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: att arbetet kunde resultera i både tillfredsställelse och frustration, att skapande av goda relationer var grundläggande, att tid var viktig för att nå förståelse, att vilja skapa en god atmosfär samt att icke- verbal kommunikation kompletterade det verbala språket. Resultatet visade att sjuksköterskor upplevde tillfredsställelse när patienter var tillfreds. Goda relationer förmedlade trygghet till patienter vilket underlättade ömsesidig förståelse.

Shortselling and loan of shares are becoming a common complement to"traditional"trade in shares. To be able to lend shares, it is necessary to reregister the shares so that the shortseller is competent to sell these shares further. In a legal sense, the proprietorship of the shares has changed hands, though it is not obvious for those involved to see what happens to the prorietorship. The obscurity is principally whether a complete changeover of the proprietorship is made between those concerned. This essay makes clear which legal consequences loan of shares and shortselling get concerning the proprietorship, and how a conflict between the lender and the third party should be solved if the shortseller becomes bankrupt.

Purpose: The aim of this thesis has been to study and obtain greater understanding of the consequences of active social media use. Specifically, in terms of social identity, social life and the sense of belonging. Secondly, the thesis studies the consequences of disconnecting and for a limited amount of time opt out of the social media context.Method/material:  The study is based on an explorative, cultural ethnographically-inspired method, in which four respondents were studied: two men and two women, all frequent users of social media. This was done in three steps: initial interviews, followed by social media diaries and finally a focus group. By allowing these methods to complement each other, the goal was to create an overall picture of the importance of social media in their everyday lives.The study's focus lies on the week in which the respondents kept social media diaries.

Bra utformning av vårdmiljö stimulerar god omvårdnad. Inom hospicefilosofin har detta tillämpats praktisk genom att försöka skapa optimal vårdmiljö för personer i livets slutskede. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva sjuksköterskors upplevelse av omvårdnad i hospicemiljö. Studien baserades på internationella vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades med manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att vara i avslutande relationer är utmattande och kräver strategier, att vara en del av den stöttande miljön, att som personal dela mål och värdegrund och att en hemlik miljö erbjuder kommunikation och relationer med humor och andlighet.

Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancerformen bland kvinnor över hela världen. Sjukdomen leder till en förändrad livssituation där stress och ångest blir en del av vardagen. Coping bidrar till en ökad psykisk, fysisk och social förmåga att hantera och leva med en sjukdom. Vilken copingstrategi som används är individuellt och utvecklas med tiden beroende på hur sjukdomsbilden ser ut samt vilka erfarenheter individer har sedan tidigare. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur kvinnor med bröstcancer hanterar sin livssituation genom coping för att uppnå bättre livskvalitet.

This essay examines the grotesque in Samuel Becketts wellknown play Waiting for Godot. The play is primarily seen as an icon of absurdism, and it is such not appropriate to examine the play as if it belongs to the litterary genre of grotesque. The primary purpose of absurdism is to reveal the pointless- and emptiness of existence. In order to illustrate these points absurdism will often make use of the common characteristics of the grotesque. With this in mind I present, within this essay, an eximination of whether Samuel Becket makes use of these characteristics to assist his portayal of emptiness in Waiting for Godot.A prior understanding of absurdism is required and i have as such primarly used Martin Esslins famous studies.The studies of the grotesque are mainly represented by two theorists.

Today is one of the reasons that Sweden works for improved public health to reduce the incidence of the most common diseases. The eleven objectives are the key determinants of public health work and are thus assigned as the common positions for players to work towards the same goal. The purpose of this study was to examine which aspects of health promotion in Sweden examined in the scientific articles. The method is a literature review based on scientific articles. Searches have been conducted in the databases SAGE Journals Online, ASSIA and Cinahl.

Tidigare forskning har visat att en god organisationskultur bland annat ger arbetstillfredsställelse, rollklarhet och effektivitet. Organisationsklimat är medarbetarnas sammantagna perceptioner av organisationen och kan ses som en ytlig, mer tillfällig och lättare mätbar aspekt av kulturen. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka och mäta organisationsklimatet vid Piteå kommuns avdelning Teknik och gator (TG). Utifrån tio klimatdimensioner mättes organisationsklimatet i en enkätundersökning i vilken 88 procent av avdelningens medarbetare deltog. Resultatet visar en hög nivå på samtliga dimensioner, vilket indikerar ett kreativt och innovativt klimat.

This paper is a critique of an article in the Swedish magazine Filosofisk Tidskrift (Philosophical Magazine), in which professor Per Bauhn maintains that there is something wrong with having a group perspective in moral and political matters. In this article Bauhn makes three conclusions. The first one is that you violate Hume's law if you draw the conclusion that something is an oppression only from descriptive premises, which for example communitarians does according to Bauhn. He argues that ?oppression? is a normative term, and therefore it requires at least one normative premise.

This paper addresses the need to review the modern presentation of textile archaeology in museums. It is time to look at textiles in archaeology with new eyes. The reality behind archaeological textilestudy is holistic, embracing many different aspects of society. The presentation of textiles has in my opinion become old-fashioned. I will show in my paper that Jonathan Adams? `seven constraints´ model, developed for research on ancient ships, can also be applied to textile research.
