Bakgrund: Enligt etiska principer bör sjuksköterskan respektera patientens självbestämmanderätt och alltid sträva efter att göra nytta. Vid vård i livets slutskede kan etiskt svåra situationer uppstå när livsuppehållande vård ska begränsas eller avstås ifrån. Många parter är inblandade i beslutsprocessen, vilket kan försvåra situationen ytterligare. Syfte: Att belysa IVA-sjuksköterskans upplevelser av etiska dilemman kring livsuppehållande vård vid livets slutskede. Metod: Metoden som användes till denna studie var innehållsanalys av kvalitativa studier enligt Graneheim och Lundman (2004). Sammanlagt analyserades sex artiklar, från fyra olika länder, där IVA-sjuksköterskors upplevelser av etiska dilemman belystes genom intervjuer. Resultat: Tre olika kategorier framkom av analysen. Dessa är: (1) Moraliskt tvång, (2) Moralisk stress och (3) Brist på inflytande.

This thesis examines the reasons behind the Swedish migration policy reform which led to a replacement of the Aliens Appeal Board by the Migration Court. This introduced a two-party procedure, oral hearings and enhanced transparency. It was designed to guarantee the rule of law and to thwart political arbitrariness.The transfer of power from representative institutions to judiciaries is referred to as judicialization, and the Migration Courts may be considered a typical example of this phenomenon. However, this can be questioned. The straggling nature of the term implies everything and anything unless cautiously defined.

This thesis work has been carried out at the consultant company Pöyry Sweden AB in Norrköping, whom performs the task for E.ON heating Sweden AB, Händelöverket in Norrköping. The report shows methods to manufacture slurry consisting of fly ash and water. The slurry shall be pumped into several former oil storage rock shelters that E.ON has put into operation for the specific purpose. The ash mixture also develops hydrogen gas in contact with water.The work has aimed to produce different suggestions of methods and equipment that can be used for the objective. Mixing method and security issues were in centre while working with the suggestions.

IT-användandet bland Sveriges företag är mycket stort och utvecklingen går snabbt framåt. Samtidigt som teknologin skapar möjligheter så skapar den även hot mot företagen själva. Dessa hotbilder glöms ofta bort och konsekvenserna kan bli att känslig information hamnar i fel händer.Undersökningen handlar om anställdas kunskap om den egna verskamhetens IT-säkerhetspolicy. I undersökningen granskas och jämförs även IT-säkerhetspolicys från ett mindre företag och en större kommunal organisation. Som metod har enkäter och intervjuer använts.

Demenssjukdom är oftast åldersrelaterad och utvecklas i senare ålder, men det finns personer och familjer som drabbas tidigare i livet. Rollen som anhörig kan vara både psykiskt och fysiskt påfrestande och är därför viktig att belysa. Syftet med studien är att undersöka det komplexa kvalitativa sambandet mellan sorg, copingstrategier och stöd hos anhöriga, när en närstående utvecklar demenssjukdom i tidig ålder. För att analysera datamaterialet som samlades in har kvalitativ innehållsanalys använts. Det som studien framför allt visar på är att det finns ett ömsesidigt samband mellan de tre komponenterna, där stödet utgör grunden.

Revisorn skallfullgöra sin uppgift enligt god revisorssed vilket innebär att ur ett etiskt perspektivagera så att man visar sig värd det förtroende som yrket som revisorkräver.Problem: På senare tid har det förekommit ett flertal redovisningsskandaler. Redovisningsfiffel,orimliga bonusprogram och tvivelaktiga eller direkt brottsliga affärerhar resulterat i att man ifrågasatt om revisorn verkligen fullgjort sinaplikter enligt god revisorssed. Revisionsbyråerna har sett ett behov av stabilaförutsättningar och en allmänt accepterad yrkesetik vilket resulterat i attFAR SRS har specificerat yrkesetiska regler som skall vägleda revisorn.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva hur revisorer ser på den yrkesetiska regleringsom finns inom professionen samt beskriva hur befintliga insatserbistår revisorn i etiska dilemman.Metod: Studien bygger på personliga intervjuer med revisorer på fem olika byråer.Under intervjuerna har respondenterna ombetts resonera kring ett antaletiska dilemman och svara på frågor med koppling till FAR SRS yrkesetiskaregler.Slutsats: Det empiriska materialet visar att revisorer överlag är nöjda med de yrkesetiskaregler som finns i dagsläget.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how same-sex couples experience the second-parent adoption process. To assist us, we have used our questions: how do the couples describe their experiences of the adoption process? Which are the couples? stories about the experience of contact with the involved professionals? What are the opportunities and barriers for same-sex couples to start a family? How do the couples describe their experience of reactions from the community and society, and how do they think the future will look like for same-sex couples? This study has been achieved through a qualitative approach. The empirical data is based on seven semi-structured interviews with same-sex couples or pair members that want to or have had a second-parent adoption. The theory we have used for analyzing the results is phenomenology with focus on queer theory, heteronormativity, and power.

Sjuksköterskan ställs inför etiska konflikter i mötet med en patient vid hjärtstopp i den prehospitala miljön. Hjärtstopp orsakas av otillräcklig cirkulation på grund av asystoli eller kammarflimmer. Tidig hjärt- och lungräddning (HLR) med god kvalitet och effektiva bröstkompressioner är livsavgörande. Sjuksköterskan ska följa en etisk kod och sjuksköterskan har ett moraliskt ansvar för att så god vård som möjligt ska ges till patienten. I den prehospitala miljön uppkommer etiska konflikter oftare än i andra vårdsituationer på grund av flera olika faktorer.

Objective: The papers objective is to create a deeper understanding for whether or not cultural and psychic distance affects corporate establishments in the EU.Method: The results have been gathered through intense data collection through interviews with ScaniaAB and Business Sweden. There has also been extensive research of 36 different companies and their first establishments in different countries. We have then analyzed the results through cultural and psychic distance and through Uppsala University's internationalization process model.Conclusion: The conclusions of this paper are:Corporate establishment often occurs in neighboring countries because of the similarity to the domestic markets which contribute with a greater security.Since the introduction of the EU single market, corporate establishments have become easier within the single market.The cultural and psychic distance does exist within the EU, however the internal market decreases these distances and the impact on corporate establishments.The market commitment is essential to the corporates survival within the new market.Cultural and psychic distance affects small firms more often since their lack of network and experience.Cultural and psychic distances are two different but related phenomena..

For several years Uppsala University together with several companies has been involved in a WISENET project aimed at improving railway transport security. By placing a sensor system near the wheels of each wagon, the temperature of the bearings can be measured and transmitted to a collector placed centrally on the wagon. This in turn transmits the collected data to RFID receivers placed intermittently along the railway.As the signals are transmitted wirelessly, problems may occur as the antennas get dirty or coated with ice and snow. To determine the effects of these coatings, several tests were performed examining the reflection coefficient S11, the impedance Z11 and the efficiency eta of an antenna, and how they varied when various coatings were placed over the antenna. Examined coatings were ice, snow and water to determine the effects of weather, and various metal-based coatings: powdered iron both pure and partially oxidized, and iron ore granules.

Studies have shown that patients found it difficult to sleep during thehospital stay and it turned out to be several factors that disturbed the sleep during the night.The nurse should note the patient?s need for sleep and take into account environmental andother sleep disturbances to be able to implement nursing interventions. Purpose: The purposeof this study was to elucidate the factors that interfere with patient?s sleep duringhospitalization and nursing care to promote the patient?s ability to sleep.

The purpose of my essay is to highlight the various dilemmas that can occur in the preschool during the moments of guided reflection but also the opportunities it can provide. I am using my own practical experience from situations where care for the children can be questioned and needs to be considered in comparison to the further development of the preschool teachers and with them the entire organization. In my research, I have chosen to highlight the importance of guided reflection, the importance of reliable and secure relationships for children and how these can be eradicated, and finally the importance of ethics for the preschool-teacher?s actions in a given situation.Key questions in my text are; What role does the reflection have in the work at the preschool? How are children affected while this is happening? How important is close and secure relationships for young children and how can they be affected? How can one find a balance between care and learning?By writing my essay I reflect on myself and my own actions. This leads me to a greater selfawareness and greater understanding of my own feelings and my role in the dilemmas I face in my profession.The conclusion of my work is that the preschool organization is not given and it can be constructed in many different ways.

A case study was done of Sthlm Policy Group, a consulting agency that mainly targets NGOs and government agencies in the peace and security sector. The goal of the case study was to explore the tendency of NGOs in Sweden to hire commercial consulting companies. The main interest was to see what the key reasons are for NGOs to hire private consulting agencies, but also to explore what problems that might be associated with such relationships. Interviews were carried out with representatives of the consulting agency, with its clients as well as with other NGOs that were identified as potential clients. The interviewed NGOs and government agencies were found to approve of the use of commercial consultants.
