Today Internet is clogged up and packed with homepages and information from both private persons and commercial companies. This has led to a decreased availability for a company to be noticed. The most common tool for consumers to use while searching for products online is via search engines. But because of the nature of these, not all companies can have good placements. Our research question was, "How do small online-companies attract consumers to their website"? The purpose of this thesis is to identify how a company works through online-communications and how to attract consumers to their home page.

Torget som kommunikativ lärmiljö : En studie i användandet av torg ur ett språkutvecklande perspektiv i förskolan

I dagens samhälle byggs förskolor med moderna innemiljöer som är inspirerade av Reggio Emilias filosofi. Ett inslag i dessa är torget som ska vara ett hjärta i verksamheten som fungerar som gemenskapens kärna, en plats för möten och kommunikation. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur torget används för att barnen ska utvecklas språkligt. Fokus ligger på hur förskollärare ger barnen möjlighet att kommunicera och samspela för att utvecklas språkligt i denna miljö. Genom intervjuer fick förskollärare uttrycka sina tankar kring syftet med torget och hur de använder torget för att hjälpa barnen att utvecklas språkligt.

This thesis is a part of the project "Sustainable harvesting and storage of sugar beets, more sugar to practice". The work has included a large part of practical experimental work with weight measurement, graduation and storage planning. The aim of the project is to be able to see whether the cultivars react differently in different storage conditions. The project has included storage under controlled conditions to give as accurate results as possible. To be able to mimic the farmers own preconditions the samples was harvested with a conventional Holmer.This project has two parts, one concerning the nature, time and temperature on storage where a number of different cultivars where investigated during three different recording times, two different temperatures and controlled in a controlled environment.

Background: The development of the IT-industry, where new technologies and new services continually arise, has led to new players with different specializations. The increased degree of specialization means that these players need to cooperate with each other in different types of projects.Problem definition: What factors are important in a project to achieve the objectives as quickly as possible? More players should lead to cooperation difficulties, how can you coordinate in the best possible way? Today, it is desirable for all parties in the project to shorten down the lead time.Purpose: The main purpose is to explore the different factors that affects the project's lead time concerning broadband installation. The part purpose, is to analyze and assess the conditions for cooperation between different players in the project for broadband installation and to provide a recommendation.Method: In order to answer the problem definition, the paper is structured around a qualitative approach with interviews to obtain data. Dagens företag har ett bra skydd mot överbelastningsattacker

Dagen samhälle är sårbarare än man ibland kan ana. Överbelastningsattacker är attacker mot ett specifikt nätverk, och syftet är att göra dess tjänster otillgängliga för legitima användare. Detta är något som sker varje dag mot företag runtom i världen, och inte minst i Sverige. Media har på senare tid uppmärksammat problemet sedan det blivit allt vanligare och vanligare bland företagen. Syftet med detta arbete är dels att få bättre förståelse om överbelastningsattacker är något som prioriteras eller inte, men även att få företagen uppmärksammade på vilka olika skydd som finns att tillgå mot överbelastningsattacker, samt att vi vill få företagen att verkligen tänka på vilka hot som finns där ute. Vårt mål med denna uppsats är att ta reda på vilka befintliga skydd företag i Sverige använder sig utav för tillfället samt vilka skydd de kan och bör använda sig utav. För att nå detta mål har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med företag som bedriver en stor del av sin försäljning, eller tillhandahållande av tjänster, över Internet. Detta har gjort att vi kommit fram till att företagen visserligen visst har skydd mot överbelastningsattacker och använder sig utav dem, men bör också se till vilka andra skydd som finns tillgängliga för dem och kan fungera bättre för just dem. Det finns som sagt bra skydd mot överbelastningsattacker, men det gäller att veta hur de fungerar och att använda dem på rätt sätt för att kunna utnyttja dem ordentligt. Vi tror, och hoppas, att detta arbete kommer att kunna hjälpa företagen i framtiden att lättare kunna stå emot överbelastningsattacker, och det är våran förhoppning att denna uppsats kommer att komma till nytta och tjäna sitt syfte..

Kommunikation mellan företag - förutsättningar för bruket av sociala medier i en företag-till-företagskontext

The study examines how social media can be used in a business-to-business context. To understand the communication conditions, factors has been identified that affects the choice of communication channels for different types of information transferred between parts. Furthermore, the study investigates the underlying reasons for why certain communication channels are chosen before others, in different situations. The study results are based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with employees in a small engineering consulting company. The investigation has focused on employee communication and choice of communication tools primarily in relation to the business relationship.

Undernäring hos äldre- ett gemensamt ansvar : Sjuksköterskans erfarenheter av team-samverkan kring den äldre patientens nutritionsbehov inom äldreboende

Purpose: The purpose of this interview study was to describe the nurses? view of their experiences of interaction with other professionals to improve the elderly patient's nutritional status in municipal elderly care.Method: The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine nurses and was analyzed according to a qualitative content analysis method.Results: The main themes that emerged: Communication among the involved, To feel secure in their role, Lack of structure. The nurses worked closely with nursing staff and cooperated more with doctors about nutrition than with the physiotherapist and occupational therapist. The nurses felt they had the main responsibility for maintaining a good nutritional status of the elderly patient and described themselves as primarily responsible for nutrition while they lacked nutritional competence equal to the responsibilities they had during the whole nutrition process. The nurses had no community dietitian?s skills and felt that the dietitian had a great responsibility and the most updated knowledge in diet and nutrition.

GPS- & GIS-användning i drivningsprocessen hos Stora Enso SKog AB :

GPS (Global Positioning system) and GIS (Geographical information system) has been used for planning and inventory in the forest sector for more than ten years. The last years the development has come to equip harvesters and forwarders with GPS and GIS (GIT). The goal with this study was to reach a basis for decision, how Stora Enso Skog should continue its investment in GPS and GIS in harvesters and forwarders. To reach this basis for decision, possible advantages and benefits, disadvantages and problems in the harvesting process was evaluated. The study was made as an interview study with four harvesting managers and ten machine teams. To secure the quality of the results an interview questionnaire was made before the interviews were done. The results showed that GIT will make the harvesting managers work easier.

To be able to secure a safe and reliable power supply is becoming increasingly important since society depends on services and functions that need continuous power supply. The delivery rate in Swedish power supply is 99.98 % which insists on a high availability. During the past decade several storms has passed Sweden which resulted in large amount of tree felling leading to extended power outages. During these storms many socially critical activities, such as electric utility company Fortum, experienced disruption in mobile communication which affected the crisis management. This paper has investigated Swedish mobile operators? crisis management at Hi3G, Tele2 and TeliaSonera with a case study of the storm Dagmar that hit Sweden during December in 2011.
