The aim of this qualitative study was to explore which inner conceptions about the abused older women the professional social workers had and how they experienced the enconter of an abused old woman in an intimate partner relation. The theoretical background is social construction by Berger and Luckmann. This theory was uset to analyze the transcribed interviews. This study is based on nine interviews with five professionals in social services, three volunteers from the voluntary sector and one social worker who worked in a community based support group for abused older women. The result of this study shows that older women were often abused, by a relative they were dependent on, in their home.

We started with a review of relevant literature to seek knowledge in the field of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Thereafter we conducted a prestudy by interviewing three of Alfas employees, and finally we conducted a quantitative survey on Alfas customers. The results were analyzed and compared against current theory of customer satisfaction and customer loyaltyResults & conclusion: The results suggest that Alfa is successful in meeting customer expectations in service delivery, even if we can confirm differences in outcome between the three businessareas.

The purpose of this thesis is to identify and define Key Perfomance Indicators (KPIs) and value adding services which are used to describe the quality of Forias logistics services from different aspects. The KPIs should be attractive to both Foria and their customers, with the aim to strengthen the interaction between both parties.The basis for this work is a research in which a literature review and a survey of the market for Swedish logistic service providers were carried out. An analysis of the present situation of Foria was carried out, where a number of people in the company were interviewed. These elements were used together with definitions of KPIs to perform the analysis of the work.The result of the work is ten KPIs that have been created and developed for Foria and which are considered to be attractive to both Foria and the selected customers. The KPIs are: · ECO-driving (binary) ? the company has ECO-driving-educated drivers· ECO-driving (comparison figure) ? all drivers individual driving and its resulting exhaust emissions are compared· The environmental impact ? a total of exhaust emissions from all vehicles belonging to a single business, measured in tonne-kilometres· Complete order ? portion of fields with accurate information (in an order), with the possibility of error categorization· Delivery reliability ? time difference between expected and actual delivery, average for all orders· On-time ? the number of days and hours of difference between the expected and the actual time, for all activities of the order· On-time (activity) ? the number of hours and minutes of difference between the expected and the actual time, for each individual activity of the order· Divergence ? a categorization of all causes of divergence and its responsible department· Level of integration ? the level of cooperation between the logistic service provider and the customer· Customer satisfaction ? how well an order will meet the expectations of the customer The KPIs are described in detail with definitions, how they can be used and what is required to implement them in the service process of Foria.

Studien avser att beskriva om och hur faktorernakärnkompetens, osäkerhet, nyttoaspekter och kontroll/flexibilitet påverkat besluten vid inköp av cloud-tjänsten SaaS. Uppsatsen är en kvalitativ studie som är baserad på semistruktuerade intervjuer med nyckelpersoner på två små IT-företag samt vetenskapliga artiklar och litteratur inom ämnesområdet. Studiens slutsats är att de båda företagen påverkats av några eller alla faktorer vid inköpen av cloud-tjänsten. Faktorn nyttoaspekter påverkade båda företagens inköpsbeslut i hög grad. Faktorerna osäkerhet och kontroll/flexibilitet påverkade inte alls inköpsbeslutet hos det ena företaget medan de till stor del påverkade inköpsbeslutet hos det andra företaget. This report is an analysis of the gender representation in Swedish sports media, a comparison between sport in public service television for adults and children. The study explores the differences between the number of male and female sports in the matter of air time and also the number of male and female appearances in the TV shows. The programs studied in this report are the Swedish SVT?s Sportspegeln and Lilla sportspegeln. When we began this analysis we were under the impression that men would be over-represented, but that representation in sports television for children would be more gender equal than the adult counterpart. The result of the analysis confirmed previous studies stating that men dominate the sports programs in Swedish public service television.

Företaget Dramatify tillhandahåller en tjänst för TV- och filmproduktions-bolag att hantera kommunikation och information kring sina produktioner med hjälp av mobiler och datorer oavsett var de befinner sig. De upplever långa responstider för sin webbapplikation och gav som förslag att studera lagring av produktionsdata i cache. För att lösa problemet har en under-sökning av tidigare arbeten inom området och lämpliga tillämpningar för att implementera, testa och analysera prototyper som lagrar data i cache.Resultatet blev en prototyp för klient respektive server med strategin att lagra varje produktion styckvis i cache. För att testa prototyperna skapades en implementation av automatiska tester som lagrade mätdata om relate-rad prestanda till cache för sidanrop från webbapplikationen i olika en-heter och webbläsare. En analys av mätdata gjordes och det visade sig att klientprototypen var 32 procent snabbare och serverprototypen 21 procent snabbare jämfört med Dramatifys implementation..

The Swedish Armed Force has a need to streamline the preparation of an exercise in tactical training for soldiers because the preparation of an exercise is currently laborious and time consuming when commanders manually share files to each computer that will be included in the exercise. The degree project was to create a file sharing program within the internal network of the Defence Forces? international centre (Swedint). The program is used by the training management to effectively start up an exercise where soldiers train tactical training in a simulated combat environment. The training management use this program to upload files to a server which notifies all the computers on the network to download these files.

I och med införandet av redovisningsstandarden IAS 36 år 2005 måste svenska börsnoterade företag årligen testa om en nedskrivning av den immateriella tillgången goodwill skall genomföras. Tidigare forskning tyder på att en nytillträdd vd utnyttjar denna standard genom att manipulera resultatet. Vidare visar forskning att ett företags ägarstruktur påverkar goodwillnedskrivningens storlek. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida nedskrivningar av goodwill påverkas vid vd-byten i familjeägda företag jämfört med i icke familjeägda företag.Undersökningen omfattar Nasdaq OMX Stockholm under tidsperioden 2005-2013. Resultatet visar statistiskt säkerställt att familjeägda företag gör lägre goodwillnedskrivningar samma år som ett vd-byte än vad icke familjeägda företag gör.

Denna studie har till syfte att undersöka hur betalningsviljan har ändrats med tiden förolika prognostiska faktorer på bostadsrätter. Resultatet kan användas för att förutspå prisutvecklingen på bostadsrätter som exempelvis kan användas som underlag för att skapa ett rättvist premiepris på försäkringar för prisfall på bostadsmarknaden.Undersökningen gjordes på 118 718 antal sålda lägenheter mellan år 2005 och 2013 i Stockholms kommun. Ett antal relevanta attribut och dess prognostiska faktorer på bostadspriset undersöktes med multipel regression. En regression gjordes per år varefter de prognostiska faktorerna analyserades och jämfördes.Resultatet av studien visar att betalningsviljan av boarea och avgift har minskat mellan år 2005 och 2013. För boarea minskar betalningsvilja med ökat antal rum vilket skulle kunna vara en effekt av bolånetakets införande.

The family and relatives caring of older people in Sweden lies on an old tradition. By legislation the responsibility for the older people has gone through a development from the family to the society. According to the new social service law (2000) it is not that clear that the utmost responsibility lies on the society. According to the social service law ( 5th chapter, 10 §) the municipality should ease things up by giving support and relief for relatives taking care of older people, prolonged ill and function disabled people. The purpose with the study was to examine how the family care givers are finding their everyday work and their experience of the support that the society is giving.

Hur handskas vi med den arbetsrelaterade stressen och finns det faktorer som kan minska den? I denna studie undersöks upplevelsen av stress och socialt stöd i forskarmiljö. Undersökningens deltagare består av 45 forskare i Lund och Malmö som besvarat en enkät. Enkäten lämnades ut våren 2003 och 2005. Syftet var att undersöka om fritidsintresse och socialt stöd kan minska stressen som kan uppkomma i samband med arbetet.

Automatisk generering av innehåll till dataspel är ett viktigt forskningsområde eftersom allt mer detaljerat innehåll går att använda. Denna rapport beskriver en studie som jämför två metoder att automatiskt generera kartor för militära strategispel. Den bygger på Stachniak och Steurzlingers (2005) arbete om deformationer av terräng efter ställda kriterier. De använder stokastisk lokalsökning för att hitta lämpliga deformationer. Andra sökmetoder kan användas och den stokastiska lokalsökningen ställs mot en evolutionär sökning i denna studie.Ett program utvecklades som implementerade en evolutionär algoritm och en förenklad variant av Stachniak och Steurzlingers (2005) algoritm.

During the early 1990´s, the Swedish commercial air traffic was de-regulated and the new market-condition made it possible for low-budget airlines to enter the Swedish market. The former monopolistic airline company, Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS), was facing a new type of competition which had the advantage of offering much cheaper air trips than SAS. Adding the decrease of profitability that struck SAS as well as other airline companies after the terrorist attacks on the 11th of September, forced them to carry out a mayor reorganization programme. The programme, called ?Turn Around 2005?, was a direct economical measure that begun in 2002 and lasted until 2005 and resulted in a cost saving of 14,5 billion SEK as well as a notice or a transfer of 6000 employees.The purpose of this essay is to investigate if the opinion of the consumer, the image, corresponds with the profile that SAS wishes to mediate today.

Människor hamnar ibland i en situation som innebär att de behöver stöd och hjälp för att klara sin vardag. Kommunen har enligt Förvaltningslagen (1986:223) en serviceskyldighet att informera den enskilde om vilka former av insatser med hjälp, stöd och service den enskilde har möjlighet att få. De centrala lagstiftningarna i detta fall är Socialtjänstlagen (2001:453), SoL och Lagen (1993:387) om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, LSS. Denna studie grundar sig på frågeställningen om den information som tillhandahålls från den undersökta kommunen kommer medborgarna till gagn. Informationen gäller i detta fall LSS (1993:387) därför att denna lagstiftning riktar sig till individer med specifika funktionshinder.
