Following changes in society and other influences, the ideology of political parties can evolveover time. For example, theories exist claiming that all parties in Sweden strive towards the"middle".A good example of a political party in Sweden which recently has gained entry toparliament is the Swedish Green Party (Miljöpartiet, MP).MP was initially influenced by a green ideology (ecologism) which started as a globalmovement stating that no other ideologies shared their concerns about the environment. Thegoal of the ideology was to, via an increased influence within the political system and throughsmall-scale production, increases both natural values and people's well being. By becomingelected into parliament it is plausible that the ideology of MP could have changed due to theinfluence of for example, the realities that parliamentary every day represent.The aim with this essay was to study the changes in MP's party program from the yearof 1994 and the most recent, to see if any changes have occurred related to MP's officialideology. The study was conducted using a comparative text analysis.

This report describes a comparative study of the change in grading system in the year of 1995 and the coming year of 2012. The objective is to analyze and compare the political debate from two Swedish parties, the Social democrats and the Moderates, from a number of the parties political periodicals. Futher the objective is to show, from the periodicals debate, what approach to knowledge the parties are presenting. The theoretical base of this study is rooted in the political background of grading system and in literature defining different theories about knowledge and approach to knowledge. The investigation is qualitative and the main research method is text analysis.The conclusions is that the parties overall stood their ground and kept their opinions throughout the two debates and the change in grade systems.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there has been a change in the use of democratic values in textbooks in social science for classes 4-6. The focus lies on democratic values from two different theoretical perspectives, Dahl?s theory of democracy and Habermas deliberative democracy. The method used is a text analysis based on a model made by Lennart Hellspong. The material we?ve analysed consists of four textbooks in social science from different decades, with a range from 1981 until today.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka och förstå hur Dagens Nyheter diskursivt skildrar införandet av den första pappamånaden år 1995 samt införandet av den andra pappamånaden år 2002. Vidare är syftet att jämföra de båda perioderna för att se om och hur diskurser och motdiskurser har förändrats. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och bygger på 102 artiklar publicerade i Dagens Nyheter åren 1994-1996 samt åren 2001-2003. För att utläsa och kategorisera diskurser och motdiskurser i empirin används en diskursanalytisk modell. Studiens resultat visar att det i huvudsak är tre diskurser som är rådande vid de jämförda tidpunkterna: jämställdhetsdiskursen, valfrihetsdiskursen och pappadiskursen.

Uppsatsen behandlar läroplansförändring i grundskolan kontra samhällsförändring i Sverige mellan åren 1969 och 1994, då tre läroplaner ges ut. Syftet är bland annat att undersöka hur olika aspekter ur samhällsförändringen kommer till uttryck i läroplanerna och om det finns förändringar i samhället som man skulle förväntat sig speglas i läroplanerna, men som inte kommer till uttryck. På ett tematiskt vis beskrivs de olika aspekterna och därefter läroplanernas innehåll. Metoden som används är hypotetiskt - deduktiv, där undersökningen utgår från en hypotes. För att begränsa arbetet har jag koncentrerat mig framförallt på det pedagogiska, sociala och globala perspektivet.

Undersökningsmaterialet består av årsredovisningar från de svenska storföretagen Hennes och Mauritz, Trelleborg och Volvo.Undersökningen visar att både de obligatoriska avsnitten, som årsredovisningen enligt lag måste innehålla, och de kompletterande ökar i omfattning under den aktuella tidsperioden, men att de kompletterande avsnitten dominerar storleksmässigt. Utmärkande för de analyserade årsredovisningstexterna är att samtliga har en övergripande, tematisk disposition och att styckenas innehåll är specifikt och additivt disponerat.Urvalet för textanalysen och den kvantitativa undersökningen synliggör hur begreppet ?Det ansvarsfulla företaget? får sitt genomslag i mitten av 1990-talet och att det med tiden kommer att omfatta alltfler ämnesområden.

In the Swedish school library discussion, the most prominent role of the school library haslong been that of cultural centre in the school, with the main goal being to encourage children'sreading. During the 90ies there were signs of a shift in focus to the role of information centre,giving active support across the whole range of the curriculum, in the independent researchingwork of the students. At the same time severe budget cuts caused great worries for the future.The interest for the school library media centres increased during this time, many differentorganizations said they wanted to fight for better school libraries. The purpose of the presentwork was to find out who they are, what they want and what their ideal school library lookslike. Fourteen organizations were studied, focus was on activities during 1995.

In April 2007 we contacted Lennart Augustsson at Designpartners AB in Västerås. He came up with the idea to investigate and evaluate their construction of a interaction beam, CSB-beam. CSB is short for Connector Interaction beam. The use of artificial insemination (A.I.) as an alternative to normal mating in dog breeding in Sweden are controlled by regulations from the Swedish Board of Agriculture and by ethical rules assigned by the Swedish Kennel Club. Only veterinarians, who have a specific certificate and are specially trained and educated, are allowed to perform inseminations in dogs. Each artificial insemination must be documented and reported to the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) which, on the behalf of the Swedish Board of Agriculture, yearly presents statistics concerning the use of A.I. in Sweden. The objective of this study was to illustrate the use of artificial insemination in dog breeding in Sweden for the last decade, using the yearly reports from the Kennel Club during the period of 1995 to 2004.

This study focuses on the development of methods for sexual determination of human skeletal remains, mainly between the years 1981 to 2007. By comparing an older analysis from 1983 (Persson and Persson) with my own on the same material, a difference of 40% was shown, which indicates that the methods has changed through time, and that these should not be used for newer conclusions about a population if the method is not throughoutly described.The main cause of the difference was identified as a change in the reliability of the sexual indicators, rather than a total change of method. Any general tendencies did not show, it is however considered that the pelvic bones are able to make a better conformity between the analyses as opposed to using the cranium..

I den här uppsatsen undersöks sambandet mellan andelen flickor som avslutar grundskolestudieroch BNP per capita för 43 afrikanska länder. Baserat på paneldata för de berörda länderna undertidsperioden 1981-2010 så genomförs regressionsanalyser för att ge svar på frågeställningen.Resultaten gör gällande att det finns en signifikant negativ effekt som även står fast då olikakontrollvariabler tas i beaktande. En delstudie genomförs också där samma regressioner genomförsmen för en mindre andel av länderna där de mest oljeberoende har tagits bort från materialet. The aim of this master thesis is to investigate changes within four discourses identified in the curriculum material of the Swedish library education in Borås Bibliotekarielinjen dating from 1977 and 1985 and its successor Library and Information Science Biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap dating from 1995, 1999. My method used is a text analytic method primarily derived from the discourse theory of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, yet with addition of tools from the critical discourse analysis of Fairclough. By identifying three floating signifiers within the material, i.e information, library, and librarian, and thereafter identifying their fixation, a pattern of resemblance and diversity in the fixating signs appeared between different courses of the curriculum dating from 1999. Hence I could establish an order of discourse consisting of four library discourses, a knowledge organisation discourse, a user discourse, a society discourse and a management discourse. Using this discursive order as a pattern, I could trace these four discourses back in time within the material dating from 1995, 1985 and 1977.
