The purpose of this study is twofold: First, to inquire how the George W. Bush administration plans to keep America safe from external threats and second ? based on the assumption that neoconservatives have influenced the Bush administration ? examine how neoconservative ideas have influenced this strategy to protect America. The research questions are as follows:What is the content of the Bush administration?s security strategy?How are neoconservative ideas reflected in this security strategy?To answer the first question, the main points of two studied documents were summarized.

AimThe aim of this study was to investigate and describe qualified nurses? worries related to handling chemotherapeutic drugs, further is the aim to explore if the nurses comply with the guidelines at a haematological ward. MethodThe cross-sectional study uses a descriptive design and a quantitative approach to analyze nurses? worries at a haematological ward. The data has been collected through questionnaires which were handed out to 42 nurses at the haematological ward. The questionnaires included 17 questions that were designed by the authors of this study, and 32 nurses returned the questionnaire. ResultsThe majority of the nurses declared that they handle chemotherapeutic drugs once or more a week. The results of the study show that the nurses´ comply with the available guidelines are relatively good.

Vi ville ta reda på hur lärarna definierar en god fysisk lärandemiljö och vilka faktorer de anser är underlättande i en god fysisk lärandemiljö. För att undersöka detta intervjuade vi åtta lärare i år 1-3 samt att vi studerat aktuell litteratur och forskning i ämnet. Det resultat vi funnit med studien är att lärarna tycker att den fysiska lärandemiljön är viktig. Lärarna definierar en god fysisk lärandemiljö på följande sätt; stora ytor med möjlighet att skärma av, möbler som är anpassade efter eleverna, inbjudande och estetiskt tilltalande samt ett klassrum som är lockande för elevens fortsatta lärande och utveckling.

This essay aims to examine how the synthetic non-human subjects, EDI and Legion, are constituted in terms of their bodies, gender, desire and emotion, in the gaming series Mass Effect. In a close-gaming method I also want to explore in which way the gamer can effect or even change the expressions of the body, gen­der, desire, and emotion made by the synthetic non-human subjects. In order to do this I use Judith Butlers and Sara Ahmeds queer theory, and Donna Haraways cyborg feminism. I concluded that EDI em­braces her embodiments and is given a highly sexualized female body, being more of a woman than a machine. While Legion is rather embracing disembodiment and is given a non sexualized, androgynous male body, be­ing more of a machine than a man.

But cyclists are more vulnerable on the roads than other vehicle users because of the lack of protection. This means that a large proportion of road safety for cyclists is based on the design of the traffic environment. Since most serious bicycle accidents are those that occur in conflict with motor vehicles, and the majority of these accidents occur at intersections, these areas are of great importance forcyclist?s safety.The  purpose  of  this  paper  is  to  highlight  bicycle  accidents  at  intersections  and  to  suggest improvements  in three accident-prone junctions  in Stockholm.  This is  achieved  by  the study of accident statistics, literature and finally three case studies.The literature study focused on cyclists, traffic safety and traffic safety measures.

At Emergency Admissions at Sahlgrenska University´Hospital many systems are in use at the same time and it happens that much overhead is caused by having to fill in the same information in different places. In addition, data that is gathered is to a large extent saved in free text format, which means that it cannot be used in a larger context such as research, quality control or for decision support. Data is saved in the patient file only for the treatment process of the individual patient.A data collecting system with decision support functionality could be a first step towards reducing Emergency Admissions? costs and patients? waiting times by providing a structured method of data collection.

Hur påverkar de många olika valmöjligheter och förväntningar som finns på ungdomar idag deras uppfattningar om sig själva? Detta är en av grundfrågorna som denna antologi bygger på. Vi har genom observationer och intervjuer tagit del av ungdomars livsvärldar, och med grundad teori som analysmetod försökt belysa dessa. I de enskilda antologibidragen presenteras ungdomars identitetsskapande ur fyra olika perspektiv.I den första delen redogör Christoffer Berg för hur det egna klädesuttryckets betydelse varierar bland ungdomar, men att kläder i allmänhet är en viktig komponent i den tysta kommunikationen dem emellan. Mariah-Michaela Hakalax fortsätter med att åskådliggöra hur ?komma ut?-processen kan förstås som sju dynamiska faser vilka genomsyrar informanternas livsvärld.

There is an awareness of the importance of gender equality in most western societies, both at the political level and in everyday life. In academia, for instance, gender is nowadays a scientific field which indicates that there is a lot of knowledge about the subject. What we do not have much knowledge about is whether gender knowledge leads to changes in gender relations in practice. The aim of this study is to explore how gender scholars relate to using ? practicing ? gender knowledge.
