Uppsatsen utg?r fr?n fr?gest?llningar som ber?r medborgares samt yrkespersoners uppfattningar och upplevelse av medborgardeltagande, samt vad dessa personer anser kr?vs f?r produktivt medborgardeltagande.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to investigate the value and impact that reading groups organized by Swedish Public Libraries, have on its participants, role of the librarian and the Library as whole, according to librarian?s conceptions. In literature and earlier research reading groups are described to represent an important reader pro-motion tool for Public Libraries. At the same time the typical reading group member is often described as a per-son with a familiarity of reading. Another purpose is therefore to investigate the contribution of reading groups in promoting reading, according to librarian?s conceptions.

The amount of television entertainment of the character ?reality program series? has increased on Swedish television, because of this it could be generally considered that television entertainment is in a ?reality series era?. In recent years so called ?work soaps? have become very popular. This is a television series, where through the TV screen; we have the possibility to view ordinary people in their daily lives and often dramatic work.

The discussion about organic and fair trade products has been a big issue during the last few years. Despite an extensive knowledge about the environmental problems and a willingness to do something about it, the consumers are not always acting that way. Children do imitate their parents and other adults at an early age, so if the role models do not begin to act, think and dress ethically correct, neither will the children. Three problems have been identified out of the discussion. They relate to the questions of how older school children and parents of younger school children are taking sides regarding the organic/fair trade clothes and how existing trends in the society as well as those in fashion contexts influence their attitudes and consumer behaviour.

An emerging trend within the construction industry is the expectation of the customer to experience and sense the product, maybe even in a customized manner. The latter trend would extend the necessity of incorporating not only function and aesthetics, but also perception and sensation. To meet this trend while at the same time improve the productivity the use of information technology such as BIM and technical platforms has increased in construction projects. Nevertheless, in spite of large investments, the construction industry has not managed to increase the effectiveness and productivity as much as other industries. Evident is that successful use of information technology depend on the integration and collaboration of various experts in a continuous and dynamic process.

Menopause is a complex, paradoxical totality and every menopausal experience is differentfrom the other. This essay aims to capture some of the experiences surrounding it.The main questions is what it is that the women of the study share about menopause, andhow they talk about it. The material consists of interviews with eight women from the ages 51to 81, all of whom are either in menopause or have come out of it, and narratives collectedpartly on my own website ?Övergången? (?Transition?) and on the Internet via blogs and adiscussion board on menopause.Using Goffmans theories on interaction and Roles and theories about gender and age as asocial construction I discovered that it is ambiguous messages that are thrown at the middleaged woman in menopause. Menopause is not always a welcome part of the role as a woman.The menopause is also associated with aging and a woman is expected to experiencemenopause during a certain age and period in the life schedule, often the middle age.

Journalists´ role in society has traditionally been of representative nature with a task to distribute news and scrutinize those in power. But technological changes have created a new publishing world outside the traditional media institutions. In today?s redactional society anyone can become a publisher in a blog or through other channels on online. This process can be seen as contributing to increased democratization giving everyone the opportunity to publish.

Fragmentation and reduction of forest area is a threat for many forest species and their habitat. Deficiencies in forest quality, such as lack of dead wood and old trees, are one explanation of the threat. The most important action to prevent the continued loss of forest types is to protect forest, but also to restore and to create areas that not previously had high nature values. Hence one of the key strategic Roles for Fritid- och Naturkontoret, Uppsala municipality, is to monitor biodiversity in the context of urban planning. The majority of the Uppsala municipality residents live in urban areas and most of them spend some of their spare time in natural areas in cities and their immediate surroundings. Goda relationer är av stor vikt för att kunna knyta långa och hälsosamma kundkontakter. Detta är särskilt viktigt på den industriella marknaden, där kontakterna vanligtvis varar över decennier. Frågan är då hur företag kan skapa dessa starka band gentemot sina kunder och vilka personer som bär ansvar för att detta skall inträffa, vilket är något som vi ämnar besvara i denna studie. Vi har dessutom presenterat vilka personer som är involverade i relationerna och vad dessa gör. För att redogöra hur en kundrelation kan se ut har vi redovisat tio egenskaper som kännetecknar relationen.

Abstract The planning of landscapes and towns has changed from a top-to-bottom perspective, including a focus on common interests, towards an inclusion of dialogue between planners and inhabitants of the planning area. In the countryside areas there are many interests which could be incorporated in such a dialogue. Still, the landowners have the final right to make the decisions for his or her property. The purpose of this paper is to examine how a dialogue for countryside development works and could be working, what participators of such dialogues are thinking about their right to direct and transform the landscape, and which Roles the planners may take in such a context. With this background in mind, I also look back into the history with the intention to understand the situation of today.

SummaryAt the start of my employment at the Swedish National social insurance office I was a bit confused because there were two categories which I defined as belonging to the same category (working handicapped) but it wasn?t so. The persons I where going to meet was defined as having incapacity to work and therefore, they were defined as not standing to the labour markets conversion. They were defined as being to sick for being at the labour market. The aim of this work is to shed light on what grounds a decision concerning a person which will be categorized as incapable of working and looking at the categorized person?s status.

Bakgrund: Det är en brist på specialistsjuksköterskor inom sluten psykiatrisk vård. Det är därför viktigt för arbetsgivaren att få kännedom om vad som motiverar specialistsjuksköterskanatt stanna inom psykiatrisk slutenvård och vad som får henne eller honom att söka sig frånslutenvården.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka specialistsjuksköterskors inom psykiatrisk vårdoch vårdenhetschefers uppfattningar om möjliga orsaker till varför specialistsjuksköterskorinom sluten psykiatrisk vård slutar.Metod: Studien är genomförd med kvalitativ metod och fokusgruppsmetoden valdes. En gruppbestod av fyra sjuksköterskor med specialistutbildning inom psykiatrisk vård. Den andragruppen bestod av två vårdenhetschefer. Intervjuerna spelades in och transkriberades.Materialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Sammanfattning:Uppsatsen består av två kvantitativa beräkningar gjorda i sex grammatikböcker ur kurslitteraturen vid Institutionen för nordiska språk, LU. Den första beräkningen utgörs av antalet subjekt i exempelmeningarna med manlig respektive kvinnlig referent. Den andra beräkningen utgörs av de semantiska roller som dessa subjekt innehar i exempelmeningarna. Syftet är att utröna om män representeras oftare än kvinnor i exempelmeningarna, om de är mer aktiva och om män generaliseras till "människor". Min hypotes var att finna att män representeras oftare än kvinnor, men att det förändras över tid, något som också infriades till viss del.Den kvantitativa beräkningen har sedan analyserats kvalitativt med hjälp av en feministisk språkteori för att utröna bakomliggande orsaker till skillnader mellan representationen av män respektive kvinnor.
