I uppsatsen redogörs för Hammondorgelns historia samt instrumentets konstruktion och funktion. I den konstnärliga delen av arbetet beskrivs författarens process att lära sig spela instrumentet. I kvantitativa intervjuer och diskussioner fångas åsikter och kritik upp efter att instrumentet använts i gudstjänster och konserter i Stora Sköndals Kyrka, Stockholm. I kvalitativa intervjuer med två kyrkomusiker, som också spelar Hammondorgel, redovisas erfarenheter och infallsvinklar.Slutsatsen pekar på både fördelar och nackdelar. Positivt är t.ex.

Through participant observation in a local promoter group of hardcore punk shows inGothenburg and qualitative interviews with its members I have investigated links between taste in music, values and social structures in the hardcore punk scene. The theoretical framework of this essay is built upon the concept of subcultural capital, which is adapted from Pierre Bourdieu and developed by Sarah Thornton and Keith Kahn-Harris. The result shows how members among the hardcore punk scene create and preserve distinction towards others, while the distinction becomes important benchmarks for including and excluding practices in the scene..

I och med att nyckelharpan blivit allt populärare, har den spridit sig över Sverige och även utanför landets gränser. Som nyckelharpsspelman och lärare på nyckelharpa, väcktes ett intresse för att undersöka hur nyckelharpans spridning ser ut under 2000-talet. Syftet är att få vetskap om hur och till vilka nyckelharpan spridit sig och vilka nya användningsområden den kommit att få. Undersökningen genomfördes som litteraturstudier med jämförelser av litteratur nära knutet till ämnesområdet. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att nyckelharpans spridning under 2000-talet främst skett genom olika medier där Internet spelat en framträdande roll. Den globala spridningen är betydande med nya utövare, främst i USA men även i flera Västeuropeiska länder.

This thesis is about the interaction between composition, notation and interpretation and what occurs between the fields with an extended notation.The purpose of my thesis is to examine the possibilities tothoroughly describe and map the sounding samples through composition prototypes.The thesis has a qualitative approach, and the empirical material consists of different documents about notation and from interviews with musicians and students about the instruments used in the thesis.It also consists of 17 compositions recorded at Örebro University School of Music as an appendix.The analysis shows that the context in which the symbols are found, play an important role in performing them. It also shows that the performers are rooted in a traditional way of performing..

Gellivare hard rock research (GHRR) bedriver projektet ?Snabbare och bättre tunneldrivning? i samarbete med bland annat Luossavaara Kiirunavaara AB (LKAB), där målet är att förbättra utförandet av varje enskild aktivitet i salvcykeln. Projektarbetet utförs enligt Demings förbättringscykel, PDSA-cykeln. I etapp ett har en detaljerad problemidentifikation av aktiviteterna i salvcykeln genomförts. Problemen har prioriterats och förslag till lösningar har utarbetats.

Erosion in coastal areas is a common problem all around the world. The range of the problem depends on several factors, i.e. type of bed-rock and soil, wind and wave climate. Another factor is whether the area is of high interest, i.e. if the area is important for tourism and recreation, if there are houses and other buildings close to the shoreline or if it is a site of special scientific interest.

För att den är intressant och blir som ett märke och symbol för Stockholm som Sydneyoperan är för Australien. Dessutom kopplar den till omgivningen med sitt reflekterande fasad och den skapar en ny och spännande inre miljö för besökarna. När man har ett så stort program som detta projekt har bör man ta chansen att skapa att skapa monumentala rum och intresseväckande former.

Syftet är att beskriva ett projekt inom Entertainment och identifiera dess Key Success Factors. En fallstudie gjordes av privatteaterproduktionen HippHipp! [paw rihk-titt] som gavs i Lund 2003-2004. I en induktiv studie genomfördes nio stycken intervjuer som resulterade i ett empiriskt material. Detta material analyserades och relaterades till teorier om projektledning (Briner m fl), adhocrati (Mintzberg), Key Success Factors (Grant) och Experience Economy (Pine & Gilmore). Studien beskriver ett framgångsrikt projekt inom Entertainment och förklarar framgången med projektet genom att presentera sex stycken Key Success Factors.

This thesis was commissioned by Tekniska verken, Energy Division with the overall aim to investigate the concept of environmental debt and what it means for a business. Furthermore, a sustainable risk and responsibility investigation shall be carried out on the concerned areas. Finally, the priority areas shall be highlighted and proposed actions presented. The Swedish Environmental debt concept was presented in 1992 by Arne Jarnelöv. Environmental debt is defined as restoration costs for environmental damage. In the early days the concept did not take into account who was responsible, but the environmental debts was regarded as a humanity debt to future generations.

Uppsatsen undersöker med konstformen ljudkonst och den konstnärliga hanteringen av ljud i fokus en interaktion mellan finkultur och populärkultur. Fokus ligger på aktörer inom populärkulturen som använt sig av konstnärliga strategier med rötter i finkulturen. Undersökningen spårar ljudkonstens historiska bakgrund och främst de förlopp som bidragit till att det är en gränsöverskridande konstform. Den populärkulturella konstvärldens etablering som en social organisation där konstnärlig verksamhet är möjlig undersöks..

The study has answered the questions to what extent people with disabilities are involved in SVT- and TV4- news reports and how people with disabilities are represented in news reports. The material is based on 140 news items.The study has demonstrated that news reports SVT and TV4 have different grades of misconceptions about disabled people. Disabled people are constantly being reinforced by negative disabling terms, the disability being of central importance for the news broadcast and they still occur in stereotypical depictions. Through the image of disabled people forms the bed-rock on which the attitudes towards, assumptions and expectations of disabled people are based on. They are fundamental to discrimination and exploitation that people with disabilities face on a daily basis, and contributes significantly to their systematic exclusion from mainstream society.

The mobile jukebox is an idea for a new kind of smartphone application that would allow users to dictate the music playing at various establishments. The mobile nature of the innovation allows for the possibility of a more ubiquitous service. Conducting a quantitative as well a qualitative study, the authors have found significant interest in this innovation service among potential users and potential distributors of the service. Furthermore, it is shown what aspects are important for decision makers to make a decision on whether to integrate the service into the operation of potential distributors of the service.  .
