Efter genomförd studie drar vi slutsatsen att de teoretiska ekonomiska modellerna som används i en fundamental analys svårt kan appliceras på en så kort period som en månad efter terrordådet den11 september 2001. Vi konstaterar också att marknaden under denna period präglades av ett stort mått av psykologi. Variablerna branschtillhörighet, företagsstorlek, betavärde, p/e-tal, soliditet och internationell exponering ger inget underlag för utformandet av en portfölj för att gardera sig mot framtida extrema globala händelser. Slutligen presenterar vi våra råd för en aktieplacerare som vill gardera sig mot kraftiga nedgångar till följd av någon sorts extrem global händelse, sk event risk: ? Genom en väldiversifierad portfölj undgår man att drabbas av extrema nedgångar.? Aktieägande ska ses på lång sikt.? Då det i praktiken för gemene man torde vara svårt att nyttja en nedgång på grund av enoväntad event för en placering och ett snabbt klipp på aktiemarknaden synes det bästarådet för en privatperson vara att köpa aktier och fondandelar regelbundet under en långtidsperiod och följaktligen undvika mycket kortsiktig spekulation enligt citatet:- When in Doubt Stay Out!? Enligt event risk teorin bör en aktieplacerare vara medveten om risken med blankning vidextrema händelser.? Vår undersökning ger vid handen att den fundamentala aktieanalysen inte har storbetydelse på kort sikt, utan ska ses som en del av en långsiktig strategi när man väljeraktier till sin portfölj.

Background: Surgical complications has been the main cause of medical injuries and deaths worldwide. In 2008 WHO developed the checklist for safe surgery to reduce the number of surgical complications. The objective of the checklist is to strengthen already established safety routines and contribute to better cooperation and communication. Research shows that compliance to the checklist is deficient, which can affect patient safety.Aim: The aim was to study the extent to which theatre nurses participate in the use of the checklist.Method: Observational study was conducted with a descriptive design and quantitative approach. 24 observations were carried out with aid of an observation protocol of two surgical units at a hospital in central Sweden.Result: The results showed that Timeout initiated widely but compliance to all items was considerably lower.

The past and ongoing structural change in Swedish agriculture has led to an increasing number of large-scale farms. The biological factors associated with large-scale farming operations may cause increasing variability, risk and reduced yields due to sub-optimal timing and management of field operations. The theory of economies of scale suggests that largescale production may benefit from lower costs due to scale efficiencies. Thus, large-scale farms may face cost reductions in terms of long term inputs factors, e.g. agricultural machinery.

To understand the motives, and perhaps more importantly the barriers, for farmers to convert from conventional to organic farming is of great interest for policy makers as well as for academics. In Sweden and in other EU countries, proposed targets of the area in organic farmland have failed to be reached in spite of different kinds of policy measures. Most studies agree that the average profitability seems to be comparable to or better in organic than in conventional farming. This would indicate that there must be other factors of importance which can explain the low particiapation rate. A higher perceived risk in organic farming with respect to yield and price is frequently brought up as a potential explanation within a qualitative framework.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att förklara hur tillämpningen av Basel II har påverkat bankerna. Utifrån pelare ett ämnar vi att undersöka och öka förståelsen för vad som har förändrats i bankerna samt analysera vilka effekter dessa förändringar har medfört och kan komma att medföra. Studien har en induktiv ansats med en kvalitativ metod. Den har inspirerats av grounded theory för att samla in och koda empirin samt för att generera ett teoretiskt bidrag. Empirisk data har samlats in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med banker och experter.

Denna studie fokuserar på effekten av IFRS/IAS på earnings management. Huvudsyftet är att identifiera earnings management före och efter införandet av IFRS/IAS för att klargöra om de internationella redovisningsstandarderna har påverkat förekomsten av resultatmanipulering inom svenska börsbolag. Perioden som studeras är åren 2002-2008. För att identifiera earnings management används den modifierade Jones-modellen som går ut på att detektera förekomsten av godtyckliga periodiseringar som ett mått på resultatmanipulering. Vi kontrollerar även för om variablerna storlek och bransch kan förklara förekomsten av företeelsen före och efter införandet av IFRS/IAS.

Examensarbetets problemområde återfinns i den tidiga delen inom informationssystemutveckling. Denna utvecklingsfas, kallad Requirements Engineering (RE), innefattar aktiviteter för att förstå, dokumentera och validera de behov och krav som föreligger för ett framtida informationssystem. RE är en avgörande aktivitet i processen att utveckla ett informationssystem som tillfredsställer användare och kunders förväntningar och behov.De olika intressenterna som är involverade i RE-processen har olika roller, bakgrund och kunskaper. Följande rapport ingår som en del av managementprogrammet på magisternivå inom ämnet företagsekonomi på Ekonomihögskolan vid Lunds Universitet. Rapporten innehåller reflektioner och kunskaper utifrån de praktiska erfarenheter vi fått under det projekt vi genomfört åt Sparbanken Finn kopplat till teori inom företagsekonomi. Projektarbetet på Sparbanken Finn innebar en kartläggning och analys av 14 skandinaviska banker med fokus på dessa bankers fundingstrategi. The purpose of this ideology critical study is to investigate the hidden content in the reform Gy11 and compare it with the concept new public management. After the clarification of the hidden content, we compare the structure of the organization in Swedish high schools with the structure in public sector called new public management. The main questions of this study are the following: Is it possible to see the foundation of new public management in the Swedish high schools when it comes to the views of knowledge and the formation of goals? Which similarities can we find when we look at the organization new public management and the Swedish high school?The result showed many similarities, both regarding the views of knowledge and the formations of goals. The structure of new public management has been largely implemented in the Swedish high schools and the schools now focus more on instrumental knowledge rather than universal knowledge based on understanding.This is not surprising due to the social progress.

The purpose of this study is to find out how some Swedish preschool teacher discussing how children's Swedish colloquial interaction can be enhanced in the free play. In this case where children are aged three to five.My research questions in the study are:-          What type of free play do preschool teachers talk about in relation to children's Swedish colloquial development?-          What do preschool teachers say about child's colloquial interaction?-           How do preschool teachers reason regarding in what environment children?s colloquial interaction occurs?In my study I have used an interview with elements of a visual method called The Diamond. The approach is that the participants in the interview will be enhanced to discussing about a wise certain number of images. These images are then to be ranked accordingly with a specific theme and terms.If a child has difficult to speak, you can take help of  the interest the child has, the child can tell you and the other children what he or she know about the interest.

The aim of this study is to enhance the knowledge of target and performance management?s effects on the judiciary. In the past decades there have been a number of reforms in the general public sector of many countries. The management philosophy often used to describe these public sector reforms is called New Public Management (NPM). One main theme has been an increased focus on the management control systems, for example a greater emphasis on target and performance management.
