Den andliga dimensionen ingår i den holistiska människosynen som sjuksköterskan skall utgå från. I Socialstyrelsens Kompetensbeskrivning för legitimerad sjuksköterska står det att sjuksköterskan ska ha förmåga att bemöta patienters andliga behov. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa faktorer som påverkar sjuksköterskans bemötande av andliga behov. Polit och Becks (2012) niostegsmodell användes för litteraturstudien. Litteratursökning genomfördes i databaserna CINAHL och PubMed samt genom en manuell sökning.

Sweden is today a country with ethnic, cultural and religious diversity. My aim in this study is to study what view of Islam and Muslims that students at a Catholic school in Stockholm have. The reason why Catholic schools are interesting to study is that previous research has showed that Muslim students around Europe often attend catholic schools as they are regarded as more tolerant towards religion. This study is based on a questionnaire and personal interviews with upper secondary students at the Catholic school in Stockholm. The result is compared with previous research on students of the same age group (12-15 years).

Vi anser att läroböcker fyller en viktig funktion i utbildningssammanhang. Läroböcker och läromedel är redskap för elevers lärande. När redskapen är otillräckliga eller rent av frånvarande blir följden försämrad undervisning. Syftet med föreliggande examensarbete är att undersöka hur ett antal läroböcker i ämnet religionskunskap beskriver religion och livsåskådning. Vi vill genom vår undersökning dels ta reda på vilka principer som styr lärares läromedelsval och dels undersöka om det går att uppfylla religionskunskapsämnets kursmål med hjälp av innehållet i några strategiskt utvalda läroböcker. Svaren på våra frågeställningar har vi inhämtat genom tillämpning av metoder som komparativ dokumentanalys samt ostrukturerade intervjuer.

Syftet för uppsatsen var att undersöka förhållandet mellan religion och politik i det amerikanska samhället med fokus på hur kristendomen påverkar skolundervisningen. Fokus har lagts på områdena: sexualundervisning, homosexualitet, abort och skapelselära kontra utvecklingsteori. Metodologiskt har studien genomförts med analys av aktuell och relevant litteratur och av två religionssociologiska surveyer. I mitt resultat har jag hittat betydande skillnader i hur sexualundervisningen genomförs, de största skillnaderna var mellan sydstaterna i bibelbältet och de nordöstra delstaterna. Betoningen låg på sexuell avhållsamhet före äktenskapet.

Mainly focusing on the big picture regarding the research concerning the religious sphere in Bronze Age Scandinavia, the research field has been missing out on the smaller picture. The results have a tendency to produce a picture where the big landscape monuments, social structures and cosmology appear in the foreground. This essay is a comment to this phenomena and a methodological and terminological discussion regarding the way in which we as archaeologist?s works with questions about religion and rites. The main task though is to make an attempt in trying to identify the ritual performers and to answer the question whether it's possible or not to do that.

Studien syftade till att granska och analysera presentationen av islam och dess utövare i läromedelstexter ingående i svenska läroböcker avsedda för årskurserna 4-6 inom ämnet religion, från och med 1980 till och med 2015. Genomförandet inspirerades av kritisk diskursanalys och genomfördes med begreppen orientalism, islamofobi, diskurs och dikotomi som teoretiska utgångspunkter. Analysen visade tendenser till ?andrafiering? av islam och muslimer i samtliga analyserade lärobokstexter, bland annat genom att ?vi? (svenskar) konstrasteras mot ?dem? (muslimer). Det förekom även ett flertal delar i de analyserade texterna där dikotomier kopplade till bilden av islam utmanades.

Denna uppsats försöker besvara om det finns ett samband mellan religiösa normer kring kön och amerikanskt bistånd. Den önskar även lyfta fram den problematik detta kan innebära samt hur detta påverkar kvinnor i Afrika söder om Saharas möjlighet till en minskad risk för HIV samt ett liv bort från fattigdom.Det problem som uppsatsen önskar lyfta fram är att då religion får makt i samhället kan den påverka politik, vilket kan i få stora konsekvenser. Den söker även klarlägga hur denna politik, framförallt i förhållande till kvinnor, hindrar dessa från utveckling.Genom jämförande litteraturstudier med material från internationella organisationer såväl som från det amerikanska biståndsorganet, forskare och samhällsdebattörer försöker detta klargöras. Diskussionen leder slutligen till en slutsats att den kristna religionens normer kring kön och sexualitet spelar roll och påverkar det amerikanska biståndsarbetet med att bekämpa fattigdom och spridningen av HIV/AIDS i Afrika söder om Sahara. Den kristna tron får makt över dessa aspekter, vilket bidrar till att kvinnokroppen blir politisk, genom den makt som religion kan legitimera.

The aim for this essay is to investigate the importance of studying religion in an upper secondary school in Närke county, this is done by distribution of a questionnaire. The importance is studied both on the individual level and on the societal level. In this essay I have aimed to examine how the theology of Paul Tillich relate to modern views of reality, both the way it was expressed in his contemporary time and the way I see it today. Reality I have defined as an entirety of the physic- and metaphysic reality. A so called panentism where God is reality and the world is a part of this reality.With Tillichs Systematic Theology as my principal material, I have first made a brief presentation of his theology, of its construction and main concepts. Then I have chosen to further examine the way he describes being, reason and revelation to see how this particular concepts of Tillich agree with my definition of reality. In this I have consulted the books Tillich in Dialogue by Mackenzie-Brown and Natural Theology Versus Theology of Nature, a book edited after the forth international Tillich symposium 1992, which had "Tillichs thinking as impetus for a discourse among theology, philosophy and natural sciences" as a theme.I have tried to point out the possibilities opened up by the ontology and epistemology of Tillich for the dialogue between theology and natural sciences.
