Introduction: A big part of the patients that recently has gone through operation at surgical units experiences pain in different scales after their operation. Untreated postoperative pain has been proved in different studies to increase to risk medical complications, longer Rehabilitation, more days at the hospital and higher expenses for the hospital. One of the nurses? main tasks is to notice and relieve the pain of the patients. To engage the patients more in the medical process and make the nurses´ work more person-centered could make an impact on the postoperative pain and contribute to a better pain relief.

Title: Artistic methods for persons with dysfunctions.The idea to the paper was born in my work, as a pedagogue, with young persons with dysfunctions. My pedagogic method is eurhythmics but I wanted to examine in what other ways you could work with artistic expression in similar areas such as circus, dance therapy and psychodrama. These areas were chosen because they have components that are interrelated, which I find very interesting. Mind and body are considered from a holistic point of view. The purpose of this paper is to bring about a better understanding of how persons with dysfunctions respond to various artistic teaching methods.

The objective of this study is to understand how people with psychiatric diseases who are enrolled at a psychiatric clinic experience the recovery process and which internal motivations and external factors influence the process. The study is based on interviews with five people who have been enrolled at a psychiatric clinic. Another aim of the study is to understand how the importance of the outpatient care for the personal recovery and the improvement opportunities of the support from the Rehabilitation unit that the interviewees see. The study is qualitative and abductive approach was chosen. This means that the study is based on empirical data supported by established theories.

Högfungerande autism eller Aspergersyndrom utgör den största gruppen inom autism spektrat. 4 av 1000 grundskolebarn räknas ha syndromet. Svårighetsgraden varierar från att vissa barn kan klara ett ganska normalt liv till att andra barn behöver omfattande hjälp. Forskningen har visat att autistiska barn ofta har en bristfällig sensorisk integration av sinnesintryck och bl a från vestibulära sinnet. Av barnen med diagnosen autism spektrum räknas c.a 80-90 % ha sensoriska problem.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av teamarbetet inom öppenvården vid strokerehabilitering. Sex legitimerade arbetsterapeuter med minst ett års erfarenhet av teamarbete vid strokerehabilitering deltog i studien. Data samlades in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med stöd av intervjuguide. Den insamlade datan analyserades genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys och resulterade i fyra kategorier: ?Faktorer som bidrar till en väl fungerande dialog?, ?Betydelsen av ett välutvecklat samarbete?, ?Betydelsen av att komplettera varandras kompetens?, ?Betydelsen av att möta utmaningar?.

Intresset för kriminalitet och individerna bakom de kriminella handlingarna ökar i samhälletoch återges i media dagligen. Det är just individen bakom brottet, hen som fängslas och fåravtjäna sitt straff som denna studie riktar sitt fokus på. När fängelsegrindarna öppnas ochåterinträdet till samhället blir ett faktum; Hur tar då dessa individer sig tillbaka till samhälletför att åter bli en del av det?Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka återanpassningsstrategier som frigivnaanvänder sig av samt hur samhällets bemötande påverkar strategierna. Studien baseras påsjälvbiografier skrivna av fyra författare som alla levt ett kriminellt liv och som sedermeraavtjänat ett eller flera fängelsestraff.Resultatet visar att det finns flera anpassningsstrategier som tas i bruk.

Syftet: Var att beskriva äldres upplevelser av åldersrelaterad yrsel fysiskt, psykiskt och socialt samt att belysa vårdåtgärder som kan bidra till att förbättra dagligt liv. Metod: Examensarbetet genomfördes som en litteraturstudie med artiklar hämtade från databaser inom vårdvetenskap/medicinsk vetenskap. Resultat: Yrsel kan upplevas som en svår funktionsnedsättning att leva med. En samsjuklighet till somatiska sjukdomar och korrelation till psykisk belastning är vanligt. Påverkan på sociala faktorer medför en begränsning i att klara sitt dagliga liv och sitt förhållande till omgivningen.

Does playing have to hurt? - A quantitative study of ergonomics and double bass playing. This is a paper about ergonomics and double bass playing. I have studied the prevalence of playing-related pain in professional double bass players, teachers and students. This study is based on a questionnaire with 11 questions about double bass playing and pain.

Patienter kan vara olika motiverade till rehabilitering. Motivation är den avgörande faktorn och en förutsättning för allt behandlingsarbete och det är därför viktigt att fokusera på patienternas motivation i rehabilitering. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur arbetsterapeuter i klinisk verksamhet arbetar och tänker kring motivation i rehabiliteringsprocessen. Metoden för datainsamlingen var att intervjua fyra arbetsterapeuter på fyra olika rehabiliteringsenheter. Intervjuerna bearbetades genom att materialet kategoriserades.

Kroniskt Obstruktiv Lungsjukdom (KOL) är en progressiv folksjukdom som drabbar mer än 10 procent av Sveriges befolkning, där ungefär hälften av alla äldre rökare uppfyller de spirometriska kriterierna för sjukdomen. Muskeldysfunktion är en känd systemisk effekt vid KOL. Handgreppsstyrka har visat sig korrelera starkt med muskelstyrka och muskelmassa i både övre och nedre extremitet hos personer med KOL. Det finns indikationer på att rehabilitering är mer effektiv vid ett tidigt stadium av sjukdomen jämfört med ett sent stadium, därför är en tidig identifikation av en muskeldysfunktion av värde. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka handgreppsstyrka hos personer med KOL i jämförelse med personer utan obstruktiv lungfunktionsnedsättning i ett populationsbaserat material.

Aim?Rekryteringsgruppen? (RG) is an organisation that through co-operating with the National Health service aims at optimizing the ability for physically disabled persons to rehabilitate. RG is a non-profit organisation ?using physical and mental exercise for disabled people, mainly neurologically disabled persons.? One of the goals that RG wants to achieve is ?that the target group will be able to live such an active and independent life as possible?. As no previous studies have been done in order to review the adaptation of RG:s work and its effects on the disabled, the purpose of this paper is to examine spinal cord injured individuals perception of independence concerning situation of life, ability to function and physical activity.MethodData have been collected by using three questionnaires.

Den syftar också till att få patienten att återgå till ett så normalt socialt liv som möjligt. Syfte Att undersöka upplevelsen av att delta i hjärtrehabiliteringsprogram och dess påver-kan på välbefinnandet hos patienter med kranskärlssjukdom. Metod Resultat baseras på vetenskapliga artiklar sökta genom databaserna PubMed och CI-NAHL. Analys skedde via induktiv metod med utgångspunkt från studiens syfte.
