Hantverk har försvunnit mer och mer inom arbetsterapin och speciellt inom somatisk verksamhet. Frågan är om dessa aktiviteter behövs och om de fyller en viktig funktion i dag. Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på hur personer med neurologiska funktionshinder upplever meningsfullheten med hantverksaktiviteter. Fyra deltagare i en dagverksamhet intervjuades med hjälp av en egenkonstruerad semistrukturerad intervjuguide. Alla respondenterna upplevde att de hade förändrat sin person, sina relationer samt aktiviteter i vardagen i och utanför verksamheten på ett för dem mycket positivt sätt.

To be competitive in the corporate climate of today it is important to have effective logistic activities. A common resource within the internal logistics is forklift trucks, which are used to lift and transport material. It becomes more and more important to decide whether to buy, lease or rent the forklifts to obtain an optimal economic situation. Many companies have issues with internal pricing. It is difficult to price products and services correctly. It is common to price the overall instead of what it really costs.The purpose of the thesis is to present a model for the acquisition of forklifts for internal logistic operations, regarding financing and internal pricing, to obtain economic effectiveness and an optimal forklift fleet size. The study focused on a specific research question, and for this purpose interviews with experts were held, observations were made and a literature study was done.

Near Field Communication (NFC) is a short range wireless communication technology that enables data exchange between devices. NFC is used in many different areas, from subway tickets to authentication systems. This paper presents possible security threats to Near Field Communication and documented attacks that have been used to target various NFC protocols. Weaknesses in different NFC protocols will be presented and suggestions on how to counter certain weaknesses will be discussed. I want to look at the possibilities to start selling hot water from a small district heating plant with bioenergy. My reason for doing this project is to look at a new business opportunity for our farm. Our company have less work during the winter time compared to the spring and this project will give us more work during the winter. I also want to take as much material as possible for heating from our farm in order to increase the value of the products from the farm. The project is in a village near us, where we should support a school, a churh, a home for the aged, a kindergarten and a parish hall with heat. In my work I have compared two different alternatives with each other. The first alternative is to put a central heater in one of the buildings, the home for the aged, in which we will burn oat.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can limit patients physical abilities and contribute to social isolation. The purpose of this literature study is to investigate men's and women's experiences of living with chronic obstructive pulmonary dis-ease, and the supporting and guiding role of the nurse to an increased quality of life. 13 critical reviewed articles were used to find the answers to our questions. Quality rating forms were used in order to guarantee a good scientific quality. The results show that, it is of great importance for the COPD-patients well-being to experience social support from those around them, and to have a close relation-ship with their families and friends, in order to experience quality of life.

The rainforests of the world are important not only to the countries in which they grow but to the world as a whole. They influence oxygen and water circulation as well as carbon sequestration which in turn affect global radiation and global warming. The forest also have great value and in Malaysia as in many other tropical countries large volumes are harvested which leaves great areas of degraded forest with little growth and biological diversity. Due to their low financial value these forests are often transformed and used for other purposes than forestry such as oil palm plantations. The trees are often transported out of the forest using large bulldozers. They are heavy which causes compaction of the forest floor and during transport the top soil layers are moved to improve mobility.

Långvarig smärta kan ha konsekvenser för det dagliga aktivitetsutförandet och i förmågan att bibehålla aktivitetsbalansen. Att införa aktivitetspacing i behandlingen för smärtpatienter kan innebära att aktivitetsutförandet upplevs på ett mer tillfredsställande sätt och skapar en balans mellan aktivitet och vila. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka i vilken utsträckning arbetsterapeuter inom föreningen Legitimerade Arbetsterapeuters Algologiförening (LAAF) känner till och arbetar i enlighet med aktivitetspacing i rehabiliteringen av personer med långvarig smärta. En enkätundersökning utfördes på 39 arbetsterapeuter som är medlemmar i LAAF. Resultatet visade att ungefär 75 % av arbetsterapeuterna kände till och arbetade med aktivitetspacing.
