The purpose of this study was to describe senior nurses? expectations concerning how a digital information and communication technology systems (ICT) can contribute to the improvement of care leadership and how it can strengthen ties between the school's theoretical world and the practical clinical work-based training (WP) in nursing. The study has a descriptive design with a qualitative approach. The study involved seven leading care nurses. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews.

Reducing the CO2-pollution, resulting from the combustion of fossil coal for energyproduction, is important to affect environmental changes. One way to achieve a reductionis to use the oxy-fuel technology. The technology uses O2 and re-circulated flue gasduring the combustion which results in a flue gas mainly consisting of CO2. The flue gascould then be compressed and stored without environmental effects. A problem thatfollows from the compression is the risk of acidification in sensitive parts of the process.Acidification can occur because of reactions following from the contact of condensedwater and sulphur- and nitrogen-oxides which are also present in the flue gas.This report compiles and evaluates the basis of a scientific unit with the purpose ofexploring the possibilities of extracting impurities of SOx and NOx from the flue gases.The dimensions of the unit are based on basic conditions, defined for an existing oxy-fuelprocess at Chalmers, and on the results of computer modelling.

Syfte: undersöka och jämföra eventuella skillnader i upplevelse av delaktighet och livskvalitet hos två grupper av människor med para- eller tetraplegi. En grupp har medverkat på rekryteringsgruppens läger och den andra gruppen har inte varit på något läger men antagits till nästa.Design: Statisk gruppjämförelse av två grupper där den ena har genomgått ett läger av rekryteringsgruppen.Metod: Elva män och kvinnor med ryggmärgsskada medverkade i studien. Upplevd delaktighet och livskvalitet hos deltagarna undersöktes med instrumenten Reintegration to Normal Living (RNL) och The Spinal Cord Injury Quality of Life Questionaire (SCI QL-23). Resultat: De som deltagit på lägret skattade högre delaktighet på åtta av de elva frågorna. De skattade också högre siffror på den del av SCI QL-23 om livskvalitet som handlade om uppskattad fysisk och social funktion.Slutsats: Man kunde se tendenser på att delaktigheten skattats högre av dem som deltagit på rekryteringsgruppens läger.

Syftet med vår studie var att studera trädgårdsterapins roll i människors tillfrisknande från stressrelaterad ohälsa. Studiens frågeställningar var: (1) vilka faktorer beskrivs som stressreducerande i natur och trädgård? (2) på vilket sätt kan personer med stressrelaterad ohälsa bli hjälpta genom trädgårdsterapi? För att besvara våra frågeställningar användes en kvalitativ metod med hjälp av en kunskapsöversikt. Våra analysverktyg har varit KASAM och Coping.Slutsatsen av studien är att trädgård och natur kan stärka återhämtningsprocessen för människor med stressrelaterad ohälsa. Trädgård och natur kan bidra med stressreducerande faktorer som gör att återhämtningen påskyndas och stärks, såsom att hitta lugn, känna trygghet och få utrymme för reflektion.

Although  ?naming and shaming? paedophiles are growing in Sweden, professionals working with the rehabilitation and treatment of paedophiles describe that the naming and shaming might not prevent child sex abuse. On the opposite naming and shaming alienates the perpetrator from any ordinary life. The alienation could lead them to only having other paedophiles as friends. Previous studies show that professionals are often distancing themselves from working with paedophiles, even if there is competence.

When patrolling grocery stores, customers engage in a purchase situation where they face great amounts of information, whereof price is one. This paper intends to shed light on the price information search behavior that customer's exhibit before choosing their products in grocery stores. In order to do so two studies have been conducted, one quantitative and one qualitative, to assemble the data needed to provide statistically significant results. The objective of the quantitative study is to gather data on customer's external price information search, and it is based on the most recent eye-tracking technology. The second qualitative study is complementary and based on interviews with randomly chosen customers that have responded to several questions regarding their price information search, shopping knowledge and experiences.

The main purpose of this essay was to find out how members of Narcotics Anonymous and professionals within the socila service departments define integration of drug addicts, and ascertain how they experience their parts in the integration process. We have wanted to examine which factors that are essential for the earlier drogabuser in his rehabilitation to the ordinary world.We wanted to find out as much as possible of the integration aspect. That´s the reason for our choice to do qualitative interviews with both people from the social service department and Narcotics Anonymous. We also obtained material from relevant litterature. In our analysis, we have started from three theoretical basis.

Under de senaste åren har mindfulness, ett tankesätt inspirerat av zenbuddismen, börjat utbreda sig i västvärlden. På svenska översätts ofta begreppet mindfulness till ?medveten närvaro?. Mindfulness kan beskrivas som en sorts livsåskådning med antaganden och värderingar om människan och världen. Sambandet mellan en persons livsåskådning och dennes hälsa har mer och mer börjat uppmärksammas.

The purpose with the projekt is to create a common web site for the various activities in the different churches located in the area of Örnsköldsvik. In my project I have chosen to try to find a structure of programming that fits my needs as a dyslexic. Abstract      Background: Stroke, caused by a blood clot or a bleeding in the brain, is one of the large endemic diseases in Sweden. The symptoms are very individual and depend on where the stroke is located. The nurse is a key person due to the importance to individualize the rehabilitation of the patient. The consequences after a stroke are not only visible functions reductions but also cognitive and practical problems. Stroke often leads to extensive changes in life, and individuals who get a stroke have to adjust their daily life. Aim: The aim of the study was to describe individuals? experiences of changes in daily life, one year or more after a stroke. Method: An inductive, qualitative approach was used.

Då barn kommer till en barn- och ungdomshabilitering är de i behov av hjälp med olika saker som inskränker och försvårar deras liv. Att få ett barn motiverat till att prova ut hjälpmedel eller träna sådant som deras kamrater kunnat i flera år, kanske inte alltid är så lätt. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur arbetsterapeuter inom barnhabilitering beskriver vad som är betydelsefullt för barns motivation. Metoden för datainsamlingen var att intervjua fyra arbetsterapeuter på olika barn- och ungdomshabiliteringar. Intervjuerna bearbetades genom att materialet kategoriserades.

Aim: The aim of the study was to examine the effects of ?Rehabilitation with psychotherapy and yoga in group? with cancer patients, regarding physical, social, emotional and functional wellbeing. The participants? health and satisfaction with the project were also evaluated. Method: The evaluation was made with quantitative method and descriptive, longitudinal design.
