Kemikaliehanteringen hänger samman med flera av vår tids största miljöhot. EU har i flera år arbetat för att få till stånd en sammanhållen och gemensam lagstiftning på kemikalieområdet och detta arbete är nu i slutfasen. En omröstning angående det nuvarande förslaget kommer att hållas i Europaparlamentet den 13 december. REACH, som står för Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals, kommer på många sätt att innebära en skärpning av kemikalieregleringen inom unionen. Det finns dock stridsfrågor, den kanske allra största gäller substitutionsregelns utformning i förslaget.

Driveability analysis of terrain data offers an important technique for decision support for all kinds of movements in the terrain. The work described in this report uses a high resolution digital terrain model generated from the laser radar data and further processed by the Category Viewer program, and information from the Real Estate Map. Properties of features found in a filtering process are calculated and compared with a set of rules in a knowledge base to get a driveability cost. This cost is then visualized in a graphical user interface. An evaluation of what driveability is and what it is affected by is performed, and a general cost function is developed, which can be used even if not all relevant information is available.

People are given better opportunities to participate in polity today. Democratic equality entails that all individuals are equal and therefore they should be included in the process of making the decisions. How can participation be defined and does it mean that having the possibility to participate means that people can influence the process of making the decisions in polity process?This paper focuses on participation and influence in polity and examine the relationship between having the possibility to participate and having the possibility to actually influence polity process on more local level. Therefore I have been examining the citizens? participation and influence in Helsingborg which is my case study.

Bakgrund: Varje år drabbas många föräldrar av stor sorg när deras barn får obotlig cancer. Föräldrarna glömmer sina egna behov och prioriterar istället barnets, vilket kan leda till en psykisk ohälsa hos föräldrarna. Som sjuksköterska handlar det om att få insikt och kunskap om föräldrarnas situation för att kunna hjälpa och stötta dem på bästa sätt. Målet är att föräldrarna ska ha en stabil psykisk hälsa och på så vis vara starka i sin föräldraroll.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva föräldrarnas upplevelser av att leva med ett barn som drabbats av obotlig cancer.Metod: En kvalitativ deskriptiv litteraturstudie gjordes. Sex självbiografier, som var skrivna ur föräldrarnas perspektiv, analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys.Resultat: Det bildades tre kategorier och sex underkategorier: psykiskt och fysiskt påfrestande, att smärtsamt försöka närma sig det som kommer att hända - brist på kontroll, isolering till följd av förändrad roll i livet, en förnekelse som övergår i acceptans, att vara stark i sin föräldraroll - hoppet ger styrka, betydelsen av stöd, vikten av att finnas till hands.  Slutsats: Föräldrarnas livsvärld förändrades drastiskt och de kämpade mellan lidande och välbefinnande.

The purpose of this thesis was to analyse, model and finally generate dynamic vehicular motions in a train. The objective with the analysis was to find important motions for a realistic train experience. The motions from the analysis were then weighted against possibilities for generation in a motion platform.A dynamic motion model was created to model the selected motions. The model was implemented in a simulation environment, more specifically MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation environment was used to simulate the model and to generate outputs to control a motion platform.

This is a graduation project in Innovation Management, which seeks to enlighten new theories within the major subject ? the multi?faceted innovation process.The reader is hereby invited to an insight in the more complex perspectives of these types of theories than what has previously been explained in simplified ways.We have conducted research on a company within the cleantech market; Cellkraft AB. The company develops and produces fuel cells amongst other products, which have emerged during their research and development in the fuel cell technology. Cellkraft works in a high?tech frontline market where innovation is key.

Den här studien undersöker hur vegetationen förändras mellan 1979 och 2010 i området som idag är Hornborgasjöns naturreservat. Sjösänkningar i området ledde till att ett igenväxt träskområde ersatte en viktig vattenreservoar och närsaltfälla. Restaureringsarbetet under 80-talet var banbrytande och antagligen ett av vår tids mest omfattande naturvårdsarbete. Studien svarar också på om restaureringen uppnådde sitt mål och om resultatet blev som man tänkt sig.I arbetet skapades en aktuell vegetationskarta för 2010, denna jämfördes med en i arbetet digitaliserad vegetationskarta från 1979. Kartbilder skapades och justerades i ArcGIS och vegetationsytornas area framtogs för att möjliggöra en vegetationsanalys mellan kartorna.

This paper is an assessment of whether the Nordic countries constitute an optimum currency area (OCA) or not. Hodrick Prescott-­?filtered data of real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and rate of employment are used to investigate the similarity of business cycles between the target countries through a series of correlation analysis with Sweden as the base reference country and also by using a linear regression model. Additionally there is an evaluation of trade volume and labour mobility between the countries. Our results indicate that Iceland had the least similar business cycles within the Nordic countries and that the area should therefore possibly comprise Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. .

Lately a tool to create more motivation called Gamification has been more and more popular to use. This study is focusing on the subject motivation and also how gamification can be used as a tool to get more of that.

Uppsatsen utforskar människans psyke utifrån den franske psykoanalytikern och psykiatrikern Jacques Lacans psykoanalytiska teori. Uppsatsen undersöker subjektets förutsättningar och möjligheter utifrån lacansk teori, samt vilka implikationer det får på symptomets plats inom klinisk diagnostik. Metoden använder lacanskt teori som beskrivningar av subjektets status, vars framställning abstraheras till en rad regler. Teorins giltighet prövas i uppsatsen mot kliniska fallbeskrivningar och andra exempelfall. I diskussionen framkommer att implikationen av den lacanska teorin om subjektet är vittgående vad gäller kliniskt diagnostik och värderingen av symptomet. .

Den 1 april 2006 trädde en ny lag i kraft, lagen (SFS 2005:1117) om deklarationsombud. Lagen trädde i kraft som ett led i Skatteverket som en 24-timmars myndighet. Lagen kom till efter en lång tids diskussioner i frågan. Initiativet togs av Skatteverket för att minska den administrativa bördan för både dem själva och företagen, även kostnaderna förväntades minska. Ombudsförfarandet används endast vid inlämning av elektroniska skattedeklarationer.Även om skattedeklarationen upprättas och skrivs under av ombudet ändras inte den deklarationsskyldiges ansvar för de lämnade uppgifterna.

AbstractThe aim of this essay is to bring understanding to one of the problems theinternationally adopted in Sweden might face, the identity dilemma. In order to do so, a theory of identity construction, Constructionism, is used. This theory says that the construction of identities is a constantly continuing process, influenced, not only by our own perception of ourselves, but also by how we are viewed and treated by otherpeople.Given this theoretic starting point, an examination of the adoptees? everydayencounters in the Swedish society is made, using an autobiography, a biography, a collection of interviews, and newspaper articles. The result shows that the internationally adopted, although they are Swedish both by mind and by law, experience that they have been, and sometimes still are, confronted with strong attitudes such as racism, prejudice and stereotypes.Furthermore, those who experience the identity dilemma often refer to how they are perceived by ?the others?, or to what the encounters with ? the real? Swedes have been like.

This study examines negative issues that cannabis users have experienced associated with cannabis use. The author made qualitative interviewsto unveil four cannabis users? life stories. These stories were analyzed through the discourse psychologicalperspective interpretive repertoirein order to explore and identify analogies among the users. The author found that the respondents, despite their seemingly diverse backgrounds and personalities, carry a collective repertoire of similar experience and reasoning around cannabis and society which can be defined as a cannabis discourse; a discourse grounded in facts as well as speculations, arguments which separately may seem reasonable but altogether often appear contradictory, and real-life anecdotes that sometimes reflect paradoxical conclusions.

This study departs in a critique issued against the ethics of deconstruction that it does not provide good enough advice for how to turn its ehtics into "real life"-actions. Taking up the concept of moral practices as found in e.g. Alisdain MacIntyre, Stanley Hauerwas, James K.A. Smith, and Roland Spjuth, this study turns to medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas as a potential resource. Combining the teachings in Aquinas' Summa Thologica with a look into his life as a Domninican, a list of moral practices is put forth and analyzed in conjunction with Derrida's ethics.

Adults often lack experience and knowledge about this way to communicate. This is a study of teenagers and adults values and views on teenagers online chatting. It focuses on area of use, meaning and effects on young people.
