Motivation i praktiken - En fallstudie om vad som skapar ho g motivation hos erfarna IT-konsulter
The purpose of this study is to examine what creates motivation in the workplace of a small company with a high employee satisfaction index. The case study consists of qualitative interviews that help explain what the most important motivational factors are for the experienced IT consultants in a company that was founded by a circle of friends. The study concludes that the unique and equal pay model implicates an economic risk to the individual consultant but results in liberties, synergies and benefits. These appeal more than either self-employment or work at a larger IT consultancy that several consultants have backgrounds in. An expansion is ongoing since two years back, which threatened the culture but implicated opportunities for the individual consultants.
Företagshybridkapital i Sverige: Möjligheten att få både skattesköld och klassning som eget kapital enligt svensk rätt
The new Swedish Companies Act allows Swedish companies to issue two instruments that were previously prohibited: mandatory convertibles and participating debentures. The aim of the thesis is to conduct a cross sectional study of Swedish corporate hybrid securities, especially in the light of the new Companies Act. The cross sectional study also includes areas such as credit rating, accounting and tax. The thesis concludes that it is possible, under Swedish law, to issue corporate hybrid securities that qualify for both high equity credit and tax deductible interest payments. The use of certain hybrid provisions are, however, restrained by Swedish company law.

This thesis examines how a company can get an effective, high quality,
maintenance of their computerized systems. After literary studies concerning
the life cycle activity Maintenance we have studied how the maintenance at the
department IT Supply of IKEA IT AB in Älmhult is carried out. What steps and
measures in the analyzing of results of changes are carried out and if they
have predefined processes for changes.
Based on the facts we found most important in our literary studies we have
created a model and theoretically applied this to the maintenance of a specific
system to see what they can work with to further improve the quality and
efficiency in their maintenance.
The basis for our thesis is literary studies and the collected material has
been used as a foundation for the research at the company, which was carried
out through interviews.
This thesis is based on the question: ?How do the lack of a model for
maintenance and the lack of orientation affect the maintenance in a company??.

The everyday work at a staffing agency and how its leaders deal with the problems that appears: A case study at Maxkompetens.The purpose of this paper is to increase the understanding of how leaders at a staffing company deal with the everyday problems that arise from a geographically dispersed workforce.The staffing industry has grown by 30-40 percent annually and has over the past 15 years been the fastest growing industry in Sweden. This shows that the interest and demand for the staffing industry and its activities are now rising at an increasingly faster pace. This is an industry that is operating under specific conditions and with a geographically dispersed workforce. This will make the leaders of a staffing company to an important link between the staffing leaders and the staffing personnel.The relationship between the staffing company's leaders and its personnel is important, but not completely trouble free. Difficulties arise in that the employees may be located in different places and at various client companies with the result that the leaders of the staffing company cannot have a daily personal contact with their geographically dispersed personnel.We have used a qualitative approach on our paper and our empirical methodology has been a case study with ethnography and interviews.

Denna uppsats behandlar små och medelstora fastighetsföretags möjligheter att finansiera sigmed lånat kapital, till belåningsgrader som ligger högre än de som de traditionella bankerna vill låna ut till. Uppsatsen syftar till att kartlägga vilka finansieringsalternativ som finns på den svenska kapitalmarknaden för små och medelstora fastighetsföretag och hur dessa finansieringsalternativ kan utvecklas.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats. Kartläggningen baseras dels på sekundära källor, och dels på information tillskansad genom intervjuer med personer verksamma inom fastighets- finansiering, fastighetsägande eller inom akademin.Bland de alternativa finansieringsformerna på kapitalmarknaden för denna typ av företag finns främst mezzaninfinansiering och obligationsfinansiering. Mezzaninfinansiering är skulder som upptas med sämre säkerhetsläge än normala banklån. Obligationsfinansiering upptas på kapitalmarknaden genom att skulder tas upp från aktörerna på marknaden. Säljarreverser, tilläggsköpeskilling, banklån med hög amorteringstakt samt kapital från medinvesterare är andra former av alternativa finansieringsformer som förekommer på marknaden, och som företag med framgång kan använda sig av i vissa situationer.Efterfrågan av alternativa finansieringsformer är stor. I studien menas att mezzanin- finansiering är den av de alternativa finansieringsformerna på kapitalmarknaden som fungerar bäst. Marknaden förväntas dock kunna utvecklas och det bedöms finnas plats för fler aktörer.

The rationalization effect itself is important, but perhaps even more important is to state the aim of the standardization efforts in a well-defined way. As an effect of this, the frequency of Chinese establishments in Sweden has increased heavily in the last ten years. This Masters thesis work describes a comparison between two different methods for estimation of the down channel (base station to mobile subscriber) in Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA). The first estimation method, Optimal Feed-forward Channel Estimation (OFCE), is a conventional method that bases the estimates on data that is known to both sender and receiver, so called pilots. The second method, Decision Directed Channel Estimation (DDCE), is an elaboration of OFCE. It also uses user data for estimation. Simulations show that DDCE, in comparison to OFCE, does not attain an improvement in signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) for high bit error rates (BER).

Today's consumers are demanding more and more from companies and are no longer as easy to im-press as they used to be. It is now the consumers that hold an increasing amount of power over com-panies and not the other way around. This change in consumer behaviour has caused an identity crisis for traditional advertising, and companies are now searching for new ways of reaching their target audience. The purpose of this combined qualitative and quantitative case study is to examine possible risks and possibilities that a retailing company face when communicating through Facebook. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews with company representatives combined with a quantitative study of the company's Facebook followers in order to answer the questions of (1) which possibilities and risks a retailing company face through the use of a Facebook fanpage and (2) if there is a differ-ence in the attitude and behaviour of active respectively passive followers that may have been caused by a retailing company's marketing communication on Facebook.
