User participation in the planning process of renewing the yards of existing residential areas was introduced in Sweden in the 1970s. It arose as a solution to many of the problems which became common in the residential areas built within the Swedish million program. The aim with the million program was to build one million homes within ten years. The same year as the million program was completed, in 1975, government subsidies to improve the residential yards were introduced. One of the conditions to get the subsidies was that the residents had to be involved in the planning process.

SammanfattningSyfte: Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för hur företag arbetar med rekrytering av kundorienterad personal med avseende på individens sociala förmåga, kompetens och drivkrafter för ett kundorienterat beteende. Metod: Studien utgår från att uppnå en förståelse och tillämpar därför en kvalitativ metod. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med tio anställda från olika fastighetsföretag i Sverige. Materialet analyserades sedan utifrån analysmetoden well-grounded theory. Resultat & slutsats: Studiens resultat visar att sociala förmågor, kompetens och drivkrafter är viktiga faktorer vid bedömning av kundorienterade egenskaper vid rekrytering, men att företagen lägger olika tyngdpunkt vid dessa faktorer. Resultatet visar att drivkrafter som motivation, engagemang, värderingar och attityder är av stor betydelse för företagen vid rekryteringstillfället. Ytterligare slutsats i studien är att individens sociala förmåga är av betydelse för företagen vid rekrytering, men att synen på vad som kännetecknar social förmåga skiljer sig mellan respondenterna.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats ligger i att undersöka hur svenska fastighetsmäklarföretag använder sig av sociala medier i sitt vardagliga arbete. Vi har undersökt hur komponenter så som kundfokus, marknadsföring samt försäljning återspeglas mot företagen i och med deras inträde i de sociala medierna.Metod: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod i arbetet och det grundar sig på en empirisk studie där vi bearbetat inhämtat material ifrån intervjuer. Vi har även haft en kumulativ inriktning i vårt arbete för att på så sätt få en mer unik aspekt på arbetet.Resultat & slutsats: Resultatet visar på att det finns en stor möjlighet för svenska fastighetsmäklarföretag att använda sig av sociala medier i ett syfte som ligger i att öka försäljningen. I dagsläget anser vi inte att medvetenheten hos svenska fastighetsmäklarföretag gällande sociala mediers betydelse är tillräckligt stor. Dessutom finns inte en insikt om att den förmodade framtida expansionen av sociala medier.

The estate of Rämningstorp in the region of Västergötland in southern Sweden is administered by the holding trust company Skogssällskapet i Skövde. In 1999 measures were taken by Skogssällskapet to drain the stream Fredstorpsbäcken as a means to increase the forest productivity of the surrounding lands, which are situated on the estate of Rämningstorp. Almost immediately after the drainage, the streamwater turned turbid and a landowner downstream reported the issue to the county administrative board of the region. The aim of this thesis was firstly to analyse the suspended matter that appeared during summer/autumn and secondly to explain why it came to be. Initial hypotheses for the explanation to the greyish turbid water were that it was either 1) a chemical/biochemical precipitate, or 2) an bacterial/algal blooming.

Sustainability reports have during the last decade had a strong development. Both in terms of establishing a sustainability assurance, in its form, and get it assured together with standards, principles and regulations which organisations and accountants have utilized. The growth of sustainability reports and the choice of getting them assured have in particular favoured the accounting business. Due to this result, some critics have voiced that assuring a sustainability report gain accounting firms more than it gains the actual organisation. Other say that it is necessary in order to increase the credibility and the eligibility of the report, while it also has become a requirement from stakeholders.

Objective: In this thesis, we assume that the organizations' interests are governing their behavior/positions. It seems possible to draw conclusions about organizations'interests on the basis of the behavior / positions that will appear in the givenopinions on Swedish Public Investigations. The purpose of this thesis is toidentify self-interests of the studied organizations as they appear in their givenopinions.Method: The authors have made a qualitative and quantitative study of the opinions.Theoretical perspective: The basis of the study is the organization theories that focus the self-interest oforganizations.Empiric: Information is taken from four Swedish Public Investigations: the New Company Act, International Accounting for Swedish companies, Abolition of the audit requirement for small and medium sized enterprise and Simplified accounting. Altogether 310 opinions have been given on these, out of which we have studied 59. Furthermore, we have collected information on tasks, activities and objectives from the websites of the opinion giving organizations.Conclusions: In the literature, we found, as mentioned, that organizations havet hree self- interests which we define as general self-interests.

Många företag idag implementerar fortfarande system som inte stödjer verksamheten i tillräcklig omfattning. Det verkar som om det saknas tillräcklig förståelse för det arbete som ska utföras med stöd av IT-systemen vilket kan bero på bristfällig kravinsamling. De tekniker som användes var deltagande observation och kontextuella intervjuer.

Syfte: Vi som studerar till fastighetsmäklare ser att fastighetsmäklarbranschen har hamnat i dålig dager. En tes vi har är att detta till stor del beror på media. En annan tes är att de flesta gliringar gentemot yrkesrollen kommer från personer som saknar erfarenhet av fastighetsmäklare. När vi tog del av statistik som tvärtemot visade att fyra av fem kunder var nöjda med sin fastighetsmäklare, bestämde vi oss för att undersöka saken djupare. Syftet med arbetet är att verifiera eller falsifiera våra två teser.

With increasing traffic congestion problems in bigger cities, it is becoming more and more important to provide the traveller with correct information about all transport alternatives. When doing that, the traveller gets the opportunity to make the best decision based on the current traffic situation. Instead of traditional travel planners, where public and private transport modes are presented separately, the co-modal travel planner offers a combination. In order to make the comparison correct and fair, the travel times have to be estimated realistically and on equal basis. This master thesis focuses on how to estimate travel times in the city of Stockholm for journeys by cars, public transport, bicycles and also for walking.An investigation of the available data on maps and travel times shows where the currently used methods are lacking.

When single-family lots are valued for development of new residential areas,the valuation is influenced by several factors. The valuation is a matter ofdefinition that varies according to its interpreter. Previous research conductedin other countries, has identified a number of value-influencing factors. Thesefactors are the basis for this study.The study's purpose is to highlight the value-influencing factors thatcustomers value and are looking for in the choice of single-family lots. Thestudy also seeks to determine if there is an unknown difference between howprofessionals and clients value single-family lots.The study showed that the value factors considered important for customersand also professionals are consistent and applicable with the factors reportedfrom previous research.

The aim of the present study was to estimate the correlation between Euro NCAP pedestrian rating scores and injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes, with special focus on long-term disability. The study also surveyed most frequently injured body regions and risk differences for specific elements of pedestrians hit by cars. Another aim was to determine whether Brake Assist systems affect the injury outcome in real-life car to pedestrian crashes and to estimate the effect in injury reduction of a high Euro NCAP ranking score combined with Brake Assist.In the current study, the Euro NCAP pedestrian scoring was compared with the real-life outcome in pedestrian crashes that occurred in Sweden 2003-2010. The real-life crash data was obtained from the data acquisition system STRADA, which combines police records and hospital admission data. The medical data consisted of International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD) diagnoses and Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) scoring.
