MatematiklÀrare om problemlösning : à sikter och anvÀndning i undervisningen
Syftet med arbetet Àr att kvalitativt undersöka matematiklÀrares Äsikter omkring problemlösning pÄ gymnasienivÄ; hur de uttalar sig om sin anvÀndning av problemlösning i sin undervisning och vilka fördelar och nackdelar de menar att det finns med att elever arbetar med problemlösning i sina matematikstudier. I min undersökning har jag intervjuat fem matematiklÀrare med olika bakgrunder och undervisningserfarenheter. Resultatet visar att lÀrarna har olika ramverk för hur de definierar och arbetar med problem och problemlösning. Tidigare forskning visar att en lyckad matematikundervisning genom problemlösning krÀver tydliga ramverk. Att undervisa matematik genom problemlösning kan ge mÄnga positiva effekter, men lÀrarnas olika ramverk gör att de prioriterar och arbetar olika med problemlösning i sin undervisning..

I work on a lighting design for a dance performance to be on tour. A lighting design adapted for
three different conditions was made:
- One comprehensive where I allow myself a great deal of creative freedom, adapted for the
stages with major technical conditions.
- One smaller version for stages with less equipment and with less time for preparation on
site.
- One design for very simple conditions.
I also examine the specific differences between typical theatrical lighting design and typical dance
lighting design, and the best way to prepare for the hands-on stage design phase..
UtvÀrdering av e-handelssystemet osCommerce
VÄr avsikt med uppsatsen var att utvÀrdera e-handelslösningen osCommerce utifrÄn ett ramverk som vi skapade och genom en enklare installation av e-handelssystemet. UtvÀrderingen gjordes för att underlÀtta för en potentiell intressent att vÀlja eller förkasta osCommerce. Genom att lÀsa om e-handel och IT i facklitteratur och pÄ Internet hittade vi aspekter som vi ansÄg var viktiga att beakta nÀr det gÀllde kvaliteten pÄ en e-handelslösning. Dessa aspekter - administration, funktioner och layout, sÀkerhet, teknologi, resursÄtgÄng, installation, marknadsföring samt flexibilitet - kom att utgöra utvÀrderingskriterier i vÄrt ramverk. För att ta reda pÄ vad anvÀndarna av osCommerce tyckte om systemet genomförde vi semistrukturerade intervjuer via e-post.
Att utveckla en webbapplikation för att sÀlja presentböcker
Syftet med denna rapport har varit att beskriva hur man utvecklar en internetbokhandel i form av enwebbapplikation samt att dokumentera erfarenheter frÄn programutveckling.För att kompensera för konkurrenternas stordriftsfördelar valdes en inriktning mot att sÀljapresentböcker. Genom att leverera ett komplett paket med inslagning och personlig hÀlsningtillsammans med boken ska det bli möjligt att uppnÄ lönsamhet.Utvecklingen har skett i ett enmansprojekt och den ensamme projektmedlemmen har befunnit sig pÄIrland. Detta gör att kursens inriktning mot agila metoder fÄtt anpassas sÄ att endast de relevantadelarna av metoden (SCRUM) har kommit till anvÀndning. Utvecklingen har genomförts i femsprintar.Teknikplattformen har varit HTML och ramverket Bootstrap (CSS och jQuery) pÄ klientsidan och Flasksom Àr ett ramverk baserat pÄ Python pÄ serversida. Databashanteraren har varit SQLite.
Synchronous Latency Insensitive Design in FPGA
A design methodology to mitigate timing problems due to long wire delays is proposed. The timing problems are taking care of at architecture level instead of layout level in this design method so that no change is needed when the whole design goes to backend design. Hence design iterations are avoided by using this design methodology. The proposed design method is based on STARI architecture, and a novel initialization mechanism is proposed in this paper. Low frequency global clock is used to synchronize the communication and PLLs are used to provide high frequency working clocks.
Activate Nyhamnen : a design proposal after Kongjian Yu's design approch
This thesis introduces Kongjian Yu?s design approach in terms of industrial heritage conservation in connection to transformation and urban design. The approach is examined respectively on two cases from China and USA. The thesis give a brief introduction to current achievement in conservation research and general profile of industrial conservation practice. Based on case and theory study, Yu?s design approach is carefully applied to an industrial area Nyhamnen in Malmö and a design proposal is produced.

Service Design is a relatively new, unexplored and exciting phenomenon that through an interdisciplinary work methodology designs services. A discussion has been going on for a long time regarding whether there is a difference between products and services. Services are often classified as immaterial, heterogeneous, non-storable and inseparable in relation to products. A question that arises is if something specific characterises the work methodology used regarding service design. The aim with this paper is thus to explain the work methodology when working with service design.

A current issue today is to try to implement creative design as a way to solve wicked problems in scientific contexts such as HCI. Since the problems are wicked, they have no given solution which makes the traditional methods inadequate. In these cases, creative design can be an alternative. Creative design is not used in scientific contexts because it is viewed as something unaccountable.In this essay we argue that creative design not necessarily have to be unaccounted. We discuss various views of creative design and translate theory to a practical context.
Mobila turisttja?nster - En fa?ltstudie med fokus pa? anva?ndbarhetsaspekter
Denna uppsats behandlar design av mobila tjÀnster frÄn ett anvÀndbarhetsperspektiv i en turismkontext. Studien hade flera syften, dÀr det teoretiska bidraget var att ta fram ett teoretiskt ramverk för design av mobila tjÀnster. Detta ramverk innehÄller bland annat begreppen kontext, informationspresentation och navigering. Det praktiska bidraget var att skapa en prototyp, utifrÄn det teoretiska ramverket, av en mobil turisttjÀnst som sedan utvÀrderades. Studien innehöll tre faser, den första var en litteraturstudie som resulterade i det teoretiska ramverket.

The background to this study is the governmentâs investment in design and the increase of design education around the country. As a future design teacher (industrialdesign) at high school/college, it is of great interest for me to look closer at studentâs attitude towards design and design educations at high school.Questions that have been investigated are studentÂŽs attitude towards design; design as a concept but also as a phenomenon. How does the student counselor inform the students of the differentchoices before choosing high school?Does the students view on design correspond to what the student counselor say?What opinion does the student counselor have to the concept design as well as design in highschool? Is design just a craze or here to stay?To get answers I have made interviews with student counselors at two different schools, I have also been in contact with a student counselor on the internet. Their thoughts will clarify thesituation that the students might be in.

The aim of this report is to see whether the graphic design of a game influences children?s will to play games. I am especially looking at minimalist graphic design and how well it works for a game aimed at children age 7-9. Does the style of the game design have any impact at all concerning the children?s wish to play the game or is the game mechanic all that matters.

Websites today only offer simpler form of technical analysis and are not fun to use, therefore student decided to build a website that makes technical analysis a bit more fun by giving user possibility to experiment with settings for technical indicators and also see clear visible results from analysis. Student decided to build website in ASP.NET. Technical indicators for this project only consist of those who give buy and sell-signals via cross-over, no divergence or pattern finding.This project has three questions that define this project. It?s important that there is good functionality so that performing an analysis is perceived as simple, one question is therefore; what functionality for website is needed in order for analysis to be perceived as more simple?Technical analysis is a pretty complex subject and demands an interface that is perceived as easy to understand and easy to use, it?s therefore important that the interface is well designed, second question is therefore; how should the interface be designed to be user-friendly?When systems grow large they often become hard to develop and later on unmaintainable because of the accumulated complexity and dependency between classes, the code is a mess, the last question is therefore; how can the systems complexity be eased with object-oriented design principles?Jakob Nielsens ten heuristics for User Interface Design were used as inspiration for designing the interface for the website.
