Mosquitoes are found in extremely large numbers in the lower parts of the River Dalälven. In the year 2000 the mosquito nuisance was especially high, resulting in foundation of the Biological mosquito control project. Since 2001 mosquito larvae are controlled by using a biological pesticide BTI (Bacillus thuringiensis ssp israelensis). The mosquito fauna in the area is dominated by flood water mosquitoes, a group of mosquitoes that are very aggressive and form new generations of mosquitoes during every single flooding event during the summer. To be able to efficiently control the mosquitoes it is essential to know the extension and locality of the flooding.

Lately the popularity to keep different species of dwarf hamsters has increased in Sweden. The requirements of the Swedish legislation to keep hamsters as pets are low which could be a reason for the increasing popularity. Hamsters are in nature generally nocturnal and can travel far distances to find food sources during their active part of the day. Their eyesight is poor, but is compensated by their well-developed hearing and olfaction. ?Run about balls? are made of plastic and the hamster is placed inside it where after the ball is placed on the floor and the hamster can then run protected outside the cage.

AbstractAim: The aim of this study was to investigate if treatment with ?dry needling? in myofascial triggerpoints (MTrPs) in the rotatorcuff muscles may affect impingement symptoms such as pain during provocative tests, shoulder mobility, and function. The research questions were: Does the value of pain change on the Visual Analog Pain Scale (VAS) between before and after treatment? Do the positive provocative tests for impingement change between before and after treatment? Does the active shoulder mobility change between before and after treatment? Does the self-rated function change between before and after treatment?Method: The study was a prospective randomized intervention study and 19 persons with impingement symptoms (mean ± standard deviation; 58 ± 18 years, and shoulder pain duration 3.9 ± 1.6 months) were randomized into two groups. The groups were tested before, directly after and 3 weeks after treatment.

Background: Theoretical, it?s been questioned why dividends exists in companies based upon the fact that there is a separation between ownership and control. According to the agency theoretical perception, dividends is used as a manner to unify the interest of this separation, which in turn lower the agency cost, and increase the efficiency of companies.Purpose: The aim of this master thesis is to scrutinize and analyse the association between Swedish firms? owner structure and owner types and their inclination to dividend.Method: We attack the problem with a hypothetical-deductive research method by using the existence of a universal theory, the agency theory. From our theoretical framework we propose a set of hypotheses.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate how women who have incurred ACL injury for more than 10 years ago, feel that the injury affects them today.Method: A qualitative semi-structured interview survey with five women who 10- 28 years ago incurred the anterior cruciate ligament injuries when playing handball or soccer has been performed. The study has been inspired by a phenomenological concept of science, mainly by life-world concept. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Main result: Some informants have experienced severe loss of physical ability in both daily living situations and in training, while others did not appreciably felt impacted in daily living and experienced great opportunities for physical activity. Limitations which emerged were restrictions in movement, joint stiffness, pain, swelling, and crepitations that led to the loss of physical ability. One respondent had been diagnosed with advanced osteoarthritis.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att reda ut den syn på retorik som ligger bakom återinförandet av retorik i svenskämnet på gymnasiet. I och med gymnasiereformen Gy 2011 har nya kursplaner i svenska implementerats. Bland nyheterna finns bl.a. en fordran att eleverna skall lära sig den retoriska arbetsprocessen och använda den för att framföra intressanta och övertygande skriftliga och muntliga framställningar som tar hänsyn till syfte, mottagare och kommunikationssituation. Dessutom ska de elever som läser Svenska 3 kunna använda den retoriska arbetsprocessen som ett redskap för analys.

Uppsatsen problemformulering; Vad är den samlade bilden av det aktuella läget hos den ryska luftmakten avseende, materielsystem, förmåga och vilja att nyttja denna förmåga samt hur ser det doktrinära ramverket ut som ska styra dessa system och förmågor? syftar till; att knyta samman de forskningar om Ryssland som genomförts avseende å ena sidan materiel, förmåga och vilja med å andra sidan den konceptuella utvecklingen för luftmakten, dvs. teori- och doktrinutvecklingen och därigenom ge en samlad bild av den moderna ryska luftmakten och hur de har uppträtt, vilka lärdomar de har dragit fram till år 2012 samt hur de planerar att utveckla denna de kommande åren.Den ryska luftmakten har sedan början av 2000-talet utvecklats från att endast ha varit ett understödjande verktyg för markarenan till att mer vara en modern fristående del som kan leverera högteknologisk last över en stor yta. Erfarenheterna från kriget i Georgien 2008 är enligt analysen den största faktorn som gjorde utvecklingen och reformeringen till ett måste.Uppsatsen har med induktiv textanalys analyserat nuvarande och kommande förmåga hos den ryska luftmakten och resultatet har påvisat en möjlig utveckling till ett självständigt Flygvapen med förmåga att genomföra allt det som ett jämförbart Flygvapen i väst har förmåga att göra.Uppsatsen har även gjort en ansats att undersöka förekomsten av en rysk modern luftmaktsdoktrin samt luftmaktsteori i syfte att utröna bedömt uppträdande. Efter att ha studerat ett antal internationella luftmaktsteoretiker samt ryska dokument rörande luftmakten har analysen inte kunnat finna någon vare sig någon officiell rysk luftmaktsdoktrin eller luftmaktsteori men däremot finns tydliga tecken på att Ryssland har influerats av västs uppträdande från första Gulfkriget och framåt.Om reformeringen innefattar även utvecklande av en specifik luftmaktsdoktrin och specifika luftmaktsteorier kommer Ryssland även ha en konceptuell förmåga som gör att de kan dra nytta av denna kvalitativa och kvantitativ kapacitet vilket de enligt analysen inte kan idag till 100%.Slutligen har uppsatsen också undersökt den ryska viljan att utveckla och använda den ryska luftmakten och slutsatserna av detta är att viljan är stark uttryckt i ord och i handling men mycket beroende av det finansiella läget..

The thesis aims to investigate the farmer?s perception of currency hedging and interest rate bonds and to investigate the farm size of companies categorized by number of acres, has no effect on this. The work also aims to gain an insight into what active farmers consider to be important what to consider when they choosing a bank and a personal banker. The work is based on the survey and has been supplemented by a literature review on the subject. For the survey were selected out randomly 50 farmers with Agriculture and Rural Management education. The requirement of the farmers was that they should be farmers by profession, and also made sure that the farmers of various sizes came with. We got a total of 32 responses within the set response time we said, which was better response than we expected. When the final result came we ranged the farms in a size range. We found out that all farmers in the study diligently follow the market and are easy to assimilate new ideas, providing opportunities to profitability of their business with the different instruments that are available on both the financial level and farm level. The investigation revealed that the major in favor of having a personal banker. They think it´s good to have a special plug to turn to who has knowledge and experience of how the agriculture sector operates.

Efter påtryckningar beslutade Sveriges regering att ge tillåtelse att bilda en frivillig militärstyrka och som ett led i detta bildades en frivillig flottilj, F19. F19 deltog i Vinterkriget mellan januari och mars 1940. Denna uppsats undersöker hur flottiljen och dess uppgifter överrensstämde med regeringens politik före, under och efter konflikten. Under Vinterkriget, liksom hela andra världskriget syftade den svenska regeringens politik till att till varje pris undvika att dras in i kriget.

The corporation offers a wide range of services and a lot of the customers are small businesses active within the green sector. An analysis of the corporation made in 2006 showed that one of LRF Konsults weaknesses is that many customers are unaware of the wide range of services that LRF Konsult offers. The internal communication is believed to play a big role in marketing these services. Therefor, the objective of this thesis has been to investigate why the transfer of customers between accounting consultants and business advisors is not greater and how this can be improved.
