In this multistudy the aim was to measure the effect of mindfulness and yoga in negative stress. Is it possible for yoga and mindfulness to increase awareness and acceptance to inner and outher circumstances? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has shown good results in how to cope with negative stress and how to stay calm in a stressful envirorment. The qualitative study where Visby Yoga Center and Stockholm Yoga Shakti attended in a survey. Correlation showed no relationship between stress and mindfulness and no significant value, n=20, Cohens d=0,16.

INTRODUKTION: Det finns studier som beskriver ungdomars upplevelser av skolhälsovård, hälsosamtal och ungdomars syn på hälsa och ohälsa men det saknas studier kring hur ungdomar upplever hälsokontrollens praktiska moment vägning och mätning. För att optimera bemötandet av eleverna inom skolhälsovården är kunskaper om deras upplevelser av stor betydelse. Föreliggande arbete är en forskningsplan.SYFTE: Syftet är att beskriva ungdomars upplevelser av hälsokontrollen i årskurs åtta med avseende på mätning av vikt och längd.METOD: En pilotstudie som bygger på fyra intervjuer har genomförts för att testa metoden. Innehållet i intervjuerna analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.RESULTAT: Analysen av intervjuerna resulterade i fem kategorier som beskriver ungdomarnas upplevelser. Dessa kategorier var: oro, förväntan, trygghet, glädje och bekräftelse.KONKLUSION: Pilotstudien visade att det var främst dålig längdtillväxt som oroade eleverna.

SAMMANFATTNINGAmningsfrekvensen i Sverige är lägre än vad som rekommenderas enligt Livsmedelverket och WHO. Sett ur ett folkhälsoperspektiv skulle mödrars och barns hälsa kunna förbättras om fler kvinnor ammade sina spädbarn mer exklusivt och under längre tid, varför bra metoder för amningsförberedelse bland blivande spädbarnsfamiljer behövs. Det amningsförberedande arbetet bör initieras av mödravårdsbarnmorskan redan under graviditeten. Syfte: Att utforma en standardiserad mall för utförandet av amningsförberedande samtal under graviditet. Metod: En kvalitativ pilotstudie genomförd med litteraturgranskning och fokusgruppintervju med barnmorskor, analyserade med innehållsanalys. Resultat: Utifrån identifierade faktorer med visad positiv påverkan på amningsfrekvens samt barnmorskors kliniska erfarenhet utformades en standardiserad mall för amningsförberedande samtal. Mallen innehåller en individanpassad och en generell del. Den individanpassade delen behandlar tidigare amningserfarenheter, förväntningar inför kommande amning samt tankar kring brösten och deras funktion.

Syfte och bakgrund: I Partille kommun tillämpas sedan flera år tillbaka kommunens Partillemodell, en uppdragshandling, vilken syftar till en kvalitetssäkring av skolans basämnen. Målet med modellen är att samla in information för att så tidigt som möjligt kunna fånga in och stödja de elever som är i behov av stöd, så att eleverna skall kunna uppnå kursplanernas mål i årskurs 9. Huvudsyftet är att analysera och undersöka data från screeningen i tre utvalda klasser, finna de elever som inte blev godkända på denna och försöka hitta orsakerna till underkända provresultat genom en analys av data samt en kvalitativ analys av intervjuer med pedagogerna. I förarbetet ligger även en analys av en enkätundersökning genomförd 2007 i kommunen, där fokus ligger på engelskämnets struktur i kommunen. Metod: Mitt val av metod är en tvärvetenskaplig analys, där den kvantitativa delen fokuserar på de givna resultaten från enkätundersökningar och screening resultat.

Based on last years events that have taken place, events on the school Lundbergs and the police values of work, has the meaning of having a set of values been questioned. This study aimed to investigate and answer the fundamental values based on the common value basis for the government employees within an organization and how it perceived by employees. The new institutional theory was the framework for this qualitative study conducted with semi-structured interviews. Respondents were employees within the organization. Ethnographic qualitative methodology was the basis for our methodology and we used a thematic model of theme interpretation, communication and knowledge in our analysis.

During the financial crisis voices were raised towards the regulatory framework IAS 39 recognition and measurement of financial instruments and pointed out that it was inadequate. The complexity of the framework contributed to the fact that it was difficult to apply. IASB accelerated the modeling of the new to be regulatory framework IFRS 9. In this study we will focus on the reliability of accounting information, which is an important aspect from the stakeholder?s point of view, for example, to be able to make the best decisions the accounting information should be proper.

The purpose of this study was to understand school counselors´ and teachers´ perspectives on the prevention of bullying in relation to social capital. The study was based on a qualitative process with semi-structured interviews from three teachers and three school counselors from three different schools. The main question was to find out teachers and school counselors perspectives of bullying in relation to social capital. The analysis was based on a theory that focuses on social capital, where trust and confidence as well as universal and selective interventions are important. Today, bullying is considered a serious and significant problem in school.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze Martti Ahtisaari?s comprehensive reportfor Kosovo, CPS, based on theories about democracy, democratization andmulticulturalism. The essay is a way to make a contribution to research on howthe international community can contribute to democratization processes ingeneral, as the CPS gives the expression and democratization of contextscharacterized by multicultural problems in particular. In this paper, we implementa qualitative text analysis of our main material CPS. The qualitative text analysiscan be applied in studies as ours when sought contents of the text are hidden underthe surface.

Bakgrund: Evidens finns för att träning inriktad på neuromuskulär kontroll, styrka och medvetenhet kan minska antalet skador i nedre extremitet hos fotbollsspelare. Brister i rörelsekontroll skulle kunna predisponera för smärta, dysfunktion och skador och vara en orsak till skaderecidiv. Syfte: Att studera rörelsekontroll hos unga manliga fotbollsspelare före och efter en träningsintervention på elva veckor med särskilt fokus på ländrygg, bäcken och höftregion. Metod: Tjugo unga elitsatsande fotbollsspelare ingick i studien. Screeninginstrumentet The Matrix Movement and Performance Screen (MPS) användes för att mäta spelarnas rörelsekontroll före och efter en träningsintervention på 11 veckor.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe what nurses experienced in connection with waiting time related frustration among patients and relatives in the emergency department and also what strategies nurses use to manage waiting time related frustration.Background: The numbers of emergency department visits are increasing and lead to waiting times which can cause frustration among patients and relatives, a frustration that nurses encounter in their everyday work and need strategies to deal with.Methods: This is a descriptive qualitative study. Interviews are conducted with five nurses, transcribed and analyzed by qualitative content analysis.Findings: The nurses feel inadequate and powerless when they meet patients and relatives frustration. In order to deal with patients and relatives frustration, they use the strategy of participation, which implies to involve and meet patients and relatives needs for information and to be seen. In order to prevent themselves becoming frustrated they use adaptability, by creating an inner calm, not take it personally and to distance themselves from the frustration.Conclusion: The result highlights the importance of managing the activity to reduce waiting time related frustration, for example through reflection and working for reducing waiting times. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze young people´s views on youth crime and segregation in ?multicultural? suburb Hammarkullen in Gothenburg, Sweden.We especially want to point out their views on the relationship between segregation and youth crime as the underlying risk factor for criminality.Through group- and individual interviews with young people, we have tried to address the following issues:? What do young people in the suburb think of segregation?? What are the views of young people in Hammarkullen about youth crimes?? How do young people in the suburbs view the relationship between segregation and youth crime?To achieve our objective and to answer our questions, we have chosen to have a qualitative approach.Since the purpose of the essay is to get an idea of how the suburban youth are looking at segregation, crime and the relationship between them, we believe that the qualitative approach is the right tool to use for this study.The empirical material consists of three interviews, one group-and two individual interviews, with 11 young people at the age of 16-18, conducted over a period of four weeks.In the results we will present how young people look at suburban segregation, crime and the connection between them..

The purpose of this essay is to find out what new graduate teachers conceptions are of their own leadership in the classroom. The paper also aims to examine the different leadership styles the teachers perceive themselves to use. My study is based on qualitative data collected through interviews, where the informants are newly graduated teachers in grade 1 to 6. Using a qualitative approach has made it possible for me to get a deeper understanding of this study. I have also used previous research in this area where Arfwedson (1993), Franssons & Morbergs (2001) and Paulin (2007) presents a number of experiences that student teachers and recent graduate teachers has shared.

Conversing about books at A-level - a qualitative study on six teachers experience from conversing about books.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence underlying factors have in connection to the internationalization of Born Global firms. Methodology: This study has a qualitative approach in which data is obtained mainly through interviews and secondary data which consists previous theories about the internationalization in small and medium sized firms and recent theories that entitle these firms as Born Global. Conclusion: Based on the existing theories and the qualitative data, we have concluded that the underlying factors for the Born Global firm?s internationalization are abilities and opportunities to create insidership in relevant networks. The most crucial underlying factors for Born Global firm?s internationalization are the ability to create processes to break old patterns of thoughts and the ability to ally with right partners. .

The study involves six Bosnian refugees experience of integration into Swedish society.The purpose of this study is, through the use of a qualitative method, to get an understanding of what the integration process in the Swedish society has been like for six Bosnian refugees.. These refugees fled from the war in former Yugoslavia and came to Sweden between the years 1992-1995. The country who was once called Yugoslavia is currently divided into six republics comprising, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, with its provinces, Vojvodina and Kosovo. The main focus of the study has been in the respondent?s thoughts and experiences of integration into Swedish society.
