The research of the essay will be about Solidarity, the Polish trade union that began to rise in the beginning of 1980. In more specific tendencies to the empirical study, it is interesting getting to know about when the free trade union was created with a view to liberate the Polish people from Communism.The essay will be studied as an empirical case study, with a qualitative text analysis. The content will also include how power is allocated to the political, economic and social aspects of the national, and international relations. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate and analyse factors that may have an influence and can affect a brand?s development and change over time. By doing this we want to clarify which factors it is important for a company to understand and gain control over.To find the answer to our thesis we have carried out six semi-structured interviews which all were of qualitative character. The reason why we chose to work with the qualitative methodology was mainly that we wanted to achieve a deeper knowledge about our choice of subject. The empiric data that we have gathered have been compared and combined with our theories and resulted in our analysis which made us gain a deeper understanding of our subject.

Personal trainer is a profession that has grown strongly in recent decades, and has become increasingly common in the labor market within the health sector due to the widespread and growing interest in health and self- improvement. Further more, personal training is a great example of occupations with a close interaction between producer and consumer. The purpose of this study was to examine whether and if so how, personal trainers experience that the relationship with the clients affects their own personal development. This by finding out what impact the profession has had on the personality, what impact the relationship with the clients has affected the leadership, and last what impact the relationship with the clients have had on the personality based on social and mental aspects. Based on the purpose of the study qualitative method was chosen and data was collected with qualitative interviews.

Trombin är ett trypsinliknande serinproteas som har stor del i kroppens reglering av blodets fluiditet och koagulation genom att det klyver faktorer som slutligen leder till att blodet kan koagulera och fibrin bildas. Syftet med det här projektet har varit att syntetisera fragment som designats med datorgrafiska metoder på Astra Zeneca och sedan analysera fragmenten med affinitetskromatografi med trypsin immobiliserad på kiselgelspartiklar. I projektet har även ett nytt koncept prövats, nämligen att analysera reaktionsblandningarna direkt med hjälp av trypsinkolonnen utan att först isolera och rena föreningarna. De designade fragmenten har syntetiserats med standardmetoder, bl.a. har N,N?dicyklohexylkarbodiimid (DCC) använts.

Syftet med studien var att göra en litteraturstudie vilken beskriver hur sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder förebygger komplikationer vilka kan uppstå vid måltidssituationer för patienter drabbade av dysfagi till följd av stroke. Studien genomfördes som litteraturstudie med beskrivande design, 12 vetenskapliga artiklar granskades och sammanställdes under tre huvudrubriker; Åtgärder för att förebygga aspirationspneumoni, Nutritionsstöd samt Kvalitetsgranskning av artiklar.Resultatet visade att många av sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsåtgärder kunde minska risken att patienter med dysfagi drabbas av aspirationspneumoni. Det framkom en rad olika kompensationsstrategier och åtgärder sjuksköterskan kunde bidra med, bland annat intensiv munhygien samt stimulering av tunga och mun med is eller annat kallt föremål vilket stimulerar sväljreflexen. Andra åtgärder var rätt sittposition och anpassad konsistens på mat och vätska samt kosttillskott. Resultatet i föreliggande studie visade att utbildning inom förebyggande omvårdnadsåtgärder var nödvändiga för att rätt matningsteknik användes och att kostrekommendationer följdes, samt att det fanns ett lämpligt instrument för sjuksköterskans kompetens vid screening av dysfagi.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka om den information patienter med screeningupptäckt abdominellt aorta aneurysm får av sjuksköterska, uppfattas som lagom och lättförståelig och om det blivit någon skillnad av orosnivå efter besöket. Ett frågeformulär skickades ut till 42 män som genom screeningundersökning diagnostiserats med ett ?aneurysm under utveckling? eller abdominellt aorta aneurysm. Resultatet visar att alla patienter upplevde besöket hos kärlsjuksköterskan som bra eller mycket bra. Majoriteten av de tillfrågade hade fått information om de olika områdena och de tyckte att mängden informationen var lagom.

Målet med Brunnsviken Brief Quality of Life Inventory (BBQ) är att skapa en kortfattad och lättadministrerad skattningsskala för självupplevd livskvalitet med goda psykometriska egenskaper vilken är gratis för alla att använda. I framtagningen av BBQ har data insamlad med Quality of Life Inventory (QOLI) i tidigare studier använts för att identifiera de livsområden med störst betydelse för självupplevd livskvalitet. I aktuell studie har normvärden tagits fram för den i studien ingående undersökningsgruppen bestående av 167 psykologistudenter. Studien har visat att BBQ har utmärkt reliabilitet (test-retest), 0,89. Vidare hade BBQ lika god validitet för undersökningsgruppen som QOLI.

We have made a qualitative study of what the students at Södertörns högskola use Södertörns högskola?s intranet Kurswebben for and how they experience the use of it. For this purpose we have made a qualitative interview examination with six students. The empirical material has been analysed according to our own analytic model which is based on existing usability theories and consists of the tree parts content, function and design.Our conclusion is that the students use Kurswebben mainly to keep themselves updated, download teaching material and schedules. According to our study, the students most of the time experience their use of Kurswebben as simple, but sometimes have a reluctance to visit it.

This report presents a study of the basic criteria for computer programmes that may be consideredadequate for aiding children with autism in their education and upbringing. I have based thisstudy on descriptions, opinions and proposals from people who deal with treatment and/orother issues concerning children with autism, as well as relevant literature.The study has been carried out in a major Swedish metropolitan municipality. The intervieweeswere civil servants from this municipality and representing different institutional endeavourson the issue of autism.I used a combination of both quantitative and qualitative techniques, as there was need for bothstandardization and qualitative variation. The main aim of the study was to seek suggestionson how computer programmes should be. That is, if they are to be considered appropriate föraiding children with autism develop their personality.The general conclusion of this study is that computer programmes, that may be consideredappropriate for the above mentioned purpose, should have certain characteristics of whichpedagogic usefulness and user suitability are of primary importance..

This study focuses on the booking agencies in Sweden and their point of view on the reality with a focal point from the mass media perspective, which says that they have become rather wealthy because of the changes within the music business. The mass media describes the booking agencies situation as golden because of the economical and technological changes that more or less have paralysed the record industry. The study is performed with a qualitative approach and is based on interviews with relevant individuals from eight different Swedish booking agencies. These individuals have been chosen to match as many different segments in the booking agency business as possible. On account of the qualitative approach it is difficult to generalize the conclusion of the study.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of an intervention that focuses on phonics, decoding, reading speed and phonological awareness for 8-9 year old children in reading difficulties. Participants were selected on the basis of screening test results in grade one (decoding and reading comprehension). The participants were divided into two groups, an intervention group (A1, n=10 children) and a control group (A2, n=10). A1 received 30 minutes of intense reading instruction every day for six weeks from special educational needs teachers on top of their usual classroom based reading instruction. The control group received only their usual classroom-based reading instruction.
