Bakgrund: Schizofreni kännetecknas av en förvrängd verklighetsuppfattning, och att man haft en psykos som varat längre än sex månader. Framträdande är ett desorienterat tänkande och röstahallucinationer, även om störningen huvudsakligen är kognitiv så yttrar den sig oftast på beteendemässiga och känslomässiga plan. Attityderna gentemot schizofrena har under de senare åren generellt förbättrats i det svenska samhället och inom sjukvården. Men ändå är negativa attityder fortfarande vanligt förekommande. En attityd är en uppfattning som man bildar sig gentemot ett visst fenomen, en persons medvetna eller omedvetna inställning till en person eller ting och kan vara positiv eller negativ.

ABSTRACT Introduction: During the past 40 years the ambulance service in Sweden has evolved from mainly being a source of transport to today?s high-tech caring facilities that enable qualified care to start already in the patient?s home. This first level of care is now provided by registered nurses and registered nurses with specialist training in pre hospital care.At the same time as the care provided is becoming more advanced, results from studies demonstrate that the amount of dispatches to patients that lack the need for ambulance care and transport is increasing. Nurses in pre-hospital care possess the knowledge, training and authority to perform an initial assessment of patients and also treat patients according to local and national guidelines. After the treatment it would sometimes be possible for the patients to remain at home without having to use ambulance transport to an emergency department or in other cases find other means of transport to hospital.

Statistik från Skolverket (2006) visar att ungefär var femte elev i Upplands-Bro Kommun inte klarar det nationella ämnesprovet i svenska för skolår 5. Då vi har vår verksamhetsförlagda utbildning i denna kommun blev vi nyfikna på att undersöka detta närmare. Vi valde att utgå från ett lärarperspektiv och en lokal bild av lärarnas uppfattningar av det nationella ämnesprovet i svenska och hur de arbetar för att komma åt problemet. För att ta reda på det använde vi oss av intervjuer med åtta behöriga lärare. Vår studie utgår från två frågeställningar: Vilka faktorer kan enligt lärarna i Upplands-Bro Kommun påverka att en elev inte når de nationella målen i svenska? Vilka målstrategier har lärarna i Upplands-Bro Kommun för att eleverna ska uppnå de nationella målen? Med hjälp av teoretisk litteratur formas vår bakgrundsdel, med utgångspunkt från Skolverkets rapport (2001), ?Utan fullständiga betyg?, Bronfenbrenners utvecklingsekologiska teori, målen i svenska, det nationella ämnesprovens bakgrund och syfte, skolans ansvar och styrdokument och delar ur dagens skoldebatt.

Background: Domestic violence is a major social problem both nationally and internationally. Around the world 35% of the women say that they have experienced physical and/or sexual violence. In most cases it is the woman's partner who subjected her to violence. Every year, 12,000 -14,000 women in Sweden seek medical help as a result of injury incurred of domestic violence. The healthcare in Sweden has a responsibility when it comes to detecting, treating and documenting, but also to prevent violence and its consequences.Aim: To examine the extent to which nurses and midwives asking women about domestic violence, barriers for asking the question and making visible steps to increase the ability to ask the question.Method: A literature review, were included articles reviewed and quality determined.

The making of a cultural historical exhibition usually involves the collaboration of two categories of professionals: the curator, in charge of the exhibition content, and the designer. From these positions, representing content and form, the team is in charge of cooperating towards a shared goal ? the exhibition ? which is the spatial expression of ideas.This MA thesis is based on my work experience as a designer of cultural historical exhibitions. By means of situations where my perspective collided with that of the museum curators?, I examine our different concepts on a number of issues: the meaning of an exhibition; the process; and the perception of what our respective roles are.

The Internet provides the common user with a variety of both traditional and non-traditional news sources, and a vast range of possibilities to contribute to the flow of information. By their participation in the production of information ordinary citizens can sometimes function as non-traditional news sources them selves and reach a potentially unlimited audience. The interactive nature of the Internet blurs the line between producers and consumers, and challenges traditional definitions of what counts as "news" as well as who qualifies as a "journalist". The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the potential consequences of this decentralization regarding the information behaviour of newspaper journalists and their perception of their professional role. The study consists of qualitative interviews with six journalists, employed by four of the leading Swedish newspapers, and a review of earlier research in the field.

Bakgrund: En människa som saknar uppehållstillstånd, saknar ofta vissa rättigheter till vård. Vårdpersonal möter papperslösa patienter i olika sammanhang vilket skapar en stor variation av inställningar och uppfattningar om deras rätt till vård. För att uppnå en rättvis och fungerande vård för denna utsatta grupp krävs bland annat tydliga riktlinjer och flexibilitet av sjuksköterskan.Syfte: Att skildra vårdpersonalens, med inriktning mot sjuksköterskans, upplevelser och etiska argument i vårdandet av papperslösa.Metod: Litteraturöversikt baserad på elva vetenskapliga artiklar hämtade i databaserna SwePub, CINAHL with Full Text och Academic Search Premier. Artiklarna har analyserats enligt Fribergs (2012a) modell.Resultat: Resultatet presenteras i fem huvudkategorier och två underkategorier. Första huvudkategorin är Vårdpersonalens inställning till att vårda papperslösa vilket visar att åsikter går isär kring papperslösas rätt till vård.

The purpose of this essay was to examine the experience of the judicial process concerning domestic violence from the perspectives of abused females and from some of the authorities and organisations which meet these women. The essay investigated several views of the judicial process in order to obtain a wide perspective. It responded to the following questions:- How are abused women treated by the authorities and organisations?- Are there enough resources and knowledge among the authorities and organisations?- Is there any collaboration between the authorities and organisations which the female meets in the judicial process and if so, how does it look like?- What does the aspect of security of person look like for the women which have been exposed to domestic violence?- What in the judicial process is important for the women's ability to move on in her life after experiences of violence in a relationship?This study was based on a qualitative method, where the interviews constituted of empirical material. The essay was based on interviews with two females who have experiences of violence in a relationship, two social workers from Kvinnojouren in Lund, two social workers from Kriscentrum in Lund, one lawyer, one prosecutor, one policeman and one social worker from Kvinnoforum in Lund.

Stress och otillräcklighet upplevs av allt fler yrkesverksamma inom vård och omsorg idag. Lång tids stress ökar risken för en rad olika besvär och sjukdomstillstånd och därmed också risken för långvariga sjukskrivningar. Sjuksköterskeyrket som profession innebär många olika potentiella stressfaktorer på arbetsplatsen då det är ett yrke som efterfrågar hög kompetens, samarbete i många olika situationer, ständig tillgänglighet och emotionellt engagemang. I ICN:s etiska kod anges att ?Sjuksköterskan sköter sin hälsa så att förmågan att ge vård inte äventyras?.

AbstractBackground: Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide and accounted for 7.6 million deaths, about 13% of all deaths, in 2008. Several factors can affect patients' quality of life such as physical and psychological symptoms, relationship to people around and the environment. In palliative care professionals need to have good knowledge in order to improve patient quality of life and to give them as good a life as possible in the final stages of life.Aim: The purpose of this overview study is to describe the experiences of quality of life in patients with incurable cancer.Method: We conducted an overview study that was based on ten scientific articles. All articles are qualitative studies, from the year 1995 - 2011, and are from Sweden, Finland, UK, Canada and the USA. Qualitative analysis was used to group the various themes and subthemes for overview study purpose.

Our purpose has been to review and analyse the representation of rape, as well as discussions concerning rehabilitation, present in texts targeted at professionals and/or female victims of rape. We wish to investigate whether female victims of rape themselves are given the opportunity of individual positioning with regard to the crimes they have been exposed to. We consider it to be of relevance that female victims of rape themselves are given the opportunity to act, react and feel individually in the context in which they find themselves, without judgement or certain expectations on how to act being dealt to them from their surroundings. Our research questions have been as follows; what views of the phenomenon that is rape are presented in the texts? Do the texts apply any specific theoretical analysis aimed at the possible explanations of the phenomenon that is rape? In what ways do the texts present the significance of rape for the female rape victim? How are the victims feelings of disgrace, guilt and disgust with regard to rape explained, are these reactions linked to the understanding of female sexuality? How are methods of the rehabilitation of female rape victims presented in the texts? Do the texts render possible any other/varying subject positions as a female rape victim? To answer these research questions we have applied a critical discourse analysis on our selection of texts and thereafter made a connection to relevant theory.

Alla människor har någon gång i livet kommit i kontakt med en tränare eller instruktör inom någon form av idrott. Det kan handla om den ideella föräldern som ansvarar för bollkull inom fotbollsklubben till den utbildade professionella golftränaren. De flesta människor med ett ?vanligt? 8-17 jobb tänker nog i positiva tankar när det kommer till de människor som lyckas förena sin hobby/passion med ett betalt yrkesliv.I flera år har det pratats om den teknologiska utvecklingen som på flera sätt har påverkat hur dagens arbetsliv ser ut och inkräktar i allt större grad på privatlivet. Begreppet Work-Life balance som på svenska kallas livspusslet har alla verksamma inom yrkeslivet stött på.
