The purpose with this study is to examine how the twelve-step program is described by the author J Keith Miller (2004) in his book Steg in i livet and by the author Olle Carlsson (2012) in his book 12steg för hopplösa. The aim for the study is to highlight the twelve steps usage on people without addiction problems. In the study, the two author?s thoughts and experience of the twelve-step program is analysed and interpreted by Pargaments (1997) theory of religious coping. Boksamtal : Intervjuer med bibliotekarier och deltagare i olika litteraturcirklar
The purpose of this masters thesis is to examine how librarians work in a literary educational role with literary circles for adults and youth, in public libraries and at school. The study also examines whether participation in book discussion groups has any effect on participants and librarians regarding changes in reading habits and in personal development. Another aspect investigated was how participants experienced the atmosphere in the group. We have conducted qualitative interviews with five librarians who have lead different literary circles and with two participants from each literary circle. In all 13 interviews were conducted.

Arbetet beskriver vad man skall tänka på när man börjar planera en trädgård vid havet. I arbetet har jag tagit upp vilka träd och perenner som man kan använda sig av när man skall skapa en trädgård vid havet.

Through the rulings RÅ 2010 ref. 11, HFD 2011 ref. 75 and HFD 2011 not 88 the Swedish Supreme Administrative Court have extended the concept of same or similar activities which can be found in section 57, clause 4 of the Swedish Income Tax Act. Through the ruling the Court has partly clarified the application area of the regulation but question marks still remains.In the statutory text there is no definition of what shall be regarded as same or similar activity and the preparatory work does not give any further direction on how the concept should be interpreted. Ever since the amendment in 1995 the general view has been that activities can be transferred between different companies without affecting the waiting period in the company of origin.

Background: Studies show that unsolved contact tracing of chlamydia increase in Uppsala County. Research shows that the meeting between patient and caregiver, when performing a contact tracing, may be crucial to the outcome of contact tracing. Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate how midwives describe the encounter with the patient during contact tracing in youth clinics in Uppsala County Council. Methods: A qualitative approach with semi- structured interviews was used to collect data. Nine midwives of varying age and work experience from seven different youth clinics in Uppsala County Council were interviewed.

The beauty industry has experienced a turnover increase of 220 % the last 20 years (Jones, 2010). At the moment the market for men's skin care is seeing the fastest growth rate in the cosmetic industry and multinational companies such as Procter and Gamble and L'Oréal have identified a "multibillion-dollar potential" within the segment. BUT - fresh research from the category leading company L'Oréal, shows that only 48 % of the male consumers use a skin care product specially adapted for men. It further shows that as many as 28 % of these do not even know how that skin care product got into their bathroom cabinet. The purpose of this paper is to get a deeper insight into men's relationship with skin care products and grooming.
Undersökning av ungdomars kostvanor och val av inköp i skolkafeterior på gymnasieskolor i Uppsala län
SAMMANFATTNING Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka utbudet i skolkafeterior på gymnasieskolor i Uppsala län och därefter granska hur kafeteriorna följde råden och rekommendationerna från Livsmedelsverket angående vad som bör finnas till försäljning i skolkafeterior. Avsikten var också att undersöka ungdomars inställning till det utbud som fanns i skolkafeterian och även undersöka hur ungdomarnas matvanor såg ut. Metod: Studien utfördes genom att rektorer på de sex aktuella skolorna kontaktades angående förfrågan om medverkan i studien. Efter godkännande besöktes skolorna och dess kafeterior där 10 slumpmässigt utvalda elever per skola fick fylla i en enkät. Skolkafeteriornas utbud undersöktes av författarna genom en inventeringsblankett. Resultat: Skolkafeteriorna hade ett utbud som inte fullständigt följde Livsmedelsverkets rekommendationer om hälsosamma produkter. Ungdomarna tyckte dock att utbudet på deras skolkafeterior var bra.

This master thesis is made in co-operation with the Department of Forest Management and Products at the Swedish University of Agriculture in Uppsala and the Forestry Association in Stockholm. The purpose of the Master thesis was to describe how pre-schools in Sweden use forests and green areas, and to understand how different factors can affect the use of the nature. The purpose of the interviews was to create a picture of attitudes and routines of the pre-schools, in the matter of visiting the nature. The thesis is built on interviews where fifteen pre-schools in five large cities around Sweden participated. Among these pre-schools, five of them worked with special focus on nature, while the other ten did not have any particular focus connected to their activity.

In a time when concern for the environment is a topic that is met with both love and hatred, organic goods and services become increasingly common on the market. Communication efforts with the purpose of increasing the proportion of organic products consumed are being conducted by both private and public actors. However, achieving attitudinal and behavioral change within complex areas such as this comes with many difficulties.Within public opinion change, a common way of achieving a change in behavior is to use fear appeals and scare tactics. Earlier studies have shown that messages prompting a low level of fear can be more effective than messages prompting a high level of fear, since a high level of fear tends to raise defense mechanisms in the consumer. The purpose of this essay is to examine whether fear and defense mechanisms is a problem when it comes to making consumers choose organic products, as well as studying whether messages prompting low levels of fear are more effective than those prompting high levels of fear.This quantitative study is conducted in the form of a questionnaire-based experiment, comparing the effectiveness of two messages prompting different levels of fear.
Faktorer vid val av marknadsföringsleverantör ? en studie inom livsmedelsbranschen i Skåne
Sammandrag
Rapporten ämnar att i huvudsak finna vilka faktorer som kunder värderar när de letar efter sin
marknadsföringsleverantör men även vilka faktorer som gör att kunden väljer att byta byrå. Vidare
för rapporten även en diskussion kring hur företagen bör göra när de ska leta efter en ny byrå.
Syftet med rapporten är således att göra branschen uppmärksam på hur kunder selekterar i utbudet
samt vilka saker som får samarbetet att hålla längre, men även för företagen att se hur de kan få ut
mer från branschen genom att utföra en ordentlig byråvalsprocess.
Arbetet bygger i huvudsak på gjorda intervjuer samt enkätundersökningar, uteslutande genomförda
i Skåne. Anledningen till denna geografiska avgränsning är för att begränsa arbetets storlek med
risk att den annars hade blivit för omfattande för kursen. Undersökningarna visade byråns
kreativitet samt god kommunikation som de två viktigaste faktorerna. Vidare visade
undersökningen också på att några av företagen hade valt sina nuvarande byråer genom etablerade
bekantskaper och rekommendationer, vilket är något som teoretikerna inte råder till.
Hur det kommer sig att kunden finner vissa faktorer viktigare än andra är svårt att diskutera kring,
eftersom syftet med arbetet är att kartlägga dessa.

By exposing their products in blogs, companies have the opportunity to reach out to hundreds of thousands of consumers daily. Instead of using conventional Internet advertising such as banners and ads, some companies chose to make use of product placement in blogs. By choosing to expose their products in blogs, companies use a medium that blog readers are familiar with and can relate to, and can thereby solicit customers for their products and brands.We will examine whether product placements in fashion blogs are an effective way for businesses to market themselves and their products. We measure this efficiency, by keeping a record of the sales of ten product placed garment and accessories that we have selected from four of the largest blogs in Sweden. The stores we examine sales of product placed goods in are volume brand stores such as Zara and H&M etcetera.
The Never Ending Story : En läroplansteoretisk studie om GY11-reformens påverkan ur ett lärarperspektiv
New national curriculums are issued in order to change the present state of the educational system in a nation. In 2011 the old curriculum, the Läroplanen för de frivilliga skolformerna (LPF94) was replaced by the Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011 (GY11). As future teachers we are interested in how a new curriculum affects the work of teachers concerning planning, teaching and examination from the teacher?s point of view.We conducted interviews with five teachers working at upper secondary schools (16-19 year olds) in Kalmar county. Our theoretical framework is based on curriculum theory and concepts of Leonard Bernstein: framing and classification.

The large-scale soy cultivation has negative consequences for the habitat of local populations because of the intensive use of pesticides and the destruction of rain forests and eco-systems. GM soya, varieties are often used. The majority of Swedish people, however, do not want GM products in their food. It will be hard in future to ensure GM free food, particularly foods that come from countries where GM crops are grown on a large scale. It is very difficult to avoid cross- contamination when both GM and non-GM crops are grown in the same area.
