Lately, alarming reports have appeared regarding the work environment and work situation of social workers. Research focusing on the promotion of health and well-being in the workplace among other professionals show that factors such as social relationships, ability to influence their work situation and leadership are important. A quantitative study was conducted focusing on the work climate for social workers employed by some of the district administrations in the City of Malmö. A questionnaire with questions and statements on various factors in the work environment was sent to 34 social workers. They were asked how important these factors were for their well-being, as well as to what extent they felt that these factors were present at work.

Given the turbulent situation in the Swedish media industry few researchers have turned towards the view of the situation from the perspective of the journalist who is in many ways under pressure. This study therefore aims to take this perspective by combining recent research in the media field with proven theories in the field of motivation. Through deep interviews with eight journalists active in the general news reporting area, the most important factors in terms of their motivation have been suggested and analyzed. There is a distinction between different types of motivation including intrinsic and extrinsic aspects. The intrinsic factors include investigational journalism and the social part of doing research.

 To enjoy work, and be satisfied in the work you do, is important to most people. Work scientific research shows that dissatisfaction with physical or the psychosocial work environment often gives negative effects on the performed work. The purpose of our study is to chart the experience in work satisfaction and psychosocial work environment amongst nurses within psychiatric care. It is an empiric cross section study. The participants in the study contains nurses who are either employed on a conditional tenure or have a temporary post (>3 months) in policlinics and wards in general adult psychiatric care (n=126).

Syftet med denna studie är att öka förståelsen för hur personer med synliga fysiska funktionsnedsättningar upplever den psykosociala tillgängligheten i samhället och hur en eventuell brist av denna tillgänglighet påverkar dem känslomässigt. Studien använder sig av en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Studien är också inspirerad av en hermeneutisk ansatsmetod då syftet är att tolka informanternas upplevelse av till exempel bemötande från människor i samhället. Fem informanter i åldrarna 47-74 år deltog i studien och alla personerna hade själv olika former av synliga rörelsehinder, tre informanter är kvinnor och två är män. Studiens resultat visade på att dess informanter upplevde den psykosociala tillgängligheten, gällande exempelvis bemötandet och attityder, olika.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka vad brukare anser om delaktighet i planering och beslut kring hjälpinsatser. Studien bygger på fem kvalitativa intervjuer. Empowerment-teori tillämpades på resultaten och har således varit studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt. Resultaten visade att brukarena i studien i stort inte upplevt sig som delaktiga i planering eller beslut. De har heller inte känt fullt förtroende för socialarbetaren de träffade när de sökte hjälp för sitt missbruk.

Syftet med denna explorativa studie var att utforska säkerhetsklimat, psykosociala förhållanden och organisationsklimat i Transportflygorganisationen i Försvarsmakten och i företaget Golden Air. This thesis studies how readers of the electronic book (the e-book) use and perceive the electronic medium as a carrier of fiction. In this study it is assumed that fiction is mostly read in printed format. Therefore it is interesting to ask why some readers choose to read on screen. As there are all too few studies conducted on how readers perceive and use the e-book as a medium, this study aims to enrich an undeveloped research area. The study is based upon a qualitative questionnaire.

Att behandla idrottsskador är ofta kostsamt och tidskrävande. En längre tids bortavaro från idrott är en stor psykosocial faktor och för en professionell idrottsutövare kan det resultera i sämre lön och påverka en framtida karriär. Det förekommer en hel del olika preventiva åtgärder för att förebygga skador, exempelvis träning, tejpning och ortoser.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to illuminate and analyze the working conditions of visual artists in the Swedish region of Värmland. As a profession which is known to have many problems concerning income and the fact that most artist are unable to get by on their art sales alone it becomes interesting to look closer on cultural policy?s affecting the artists, where the problems lie and what possible help they can get.I have used previous research and different sources to map out the working conditions in Sweden and Värmland alike and also interviewed five different visual artists in Värmland to get a general view of the working conditions in the country as a whole and their perception of the situation and special circumstances in Värmland. I have also used discourse analysis to compare the source material with the answers of my respondents to see which discourses that exists, that have hegemony, and to see how this subject is talked about.The results of this study showed how political decisions may force artists to become self-employed entrepreneurs even though many artists do not self-identify as such or even have any interest in profitable gain. The study also shows among other things that most artists have another occupation on the side but that there are some aids to help the artists with income.

Föreliggande studie har tre övergripande syften: (1) att undersöka vilka huvudsakliga behandlingsmetoder/-modeller som framhålls av forskning som mest effektiva rörande behandling av omhändertagna ungdomar med svår psykosocial problematik, som är placerade på institution, (2) att i dessa behandlingsprogram kartlägga vilka huvudsakliga behandlingskomponenter (specifika faktorer) som förespråkas för behandling av dessa ungdomar, (3) att undersöka vilka andra behandlingsfaktorer och aktiviteter (s.k. ickespecifika faktorer) som lyfts fram i forskningen som verkningsfulla och om, och i så fall på vilket sätt, som dessa s.k. ickespecifika faktorer hänger samman med de komponenter som förespråkas i respektive behandlingsmetod (specifik faktor). Studien är utformad som en integrativ litteraturöversikt där tidigare forskning i form av vetenskapliga rapporter och artiklar sammanställs för att besvara studiens syfte och frågeställningar. Av studiens resultat framgår att behandlingsprogram baserat på kognitiva och beteendeinriktade teorier framstår som mest effektiva i behandlingen av denna grupp ungdomar.
