SammanfattningStudien utredde orsaken till partnerval inom den egna etniska gruppen. Judiska universitetsstuderande (n=42) jämfördes med icke-judiska svenska universitetsstuderande (n=42) och deltagarna jämfördes på variablerna ingruppsidentitet, likhet, stöd från socialt nätverk, partnerval och kollektivism. Dessutom attraktivitetsskattades personer med och utan davidsstjärna. Bäst prediktor för svenskarnas preferens för partnerval inom gruppen var stöd från socialt nätverk medan likhet var bäst prediktor för judarnas ingruppspreferens. Ingruppsidentitet predicerade partnerval inom gruppen för judarna, men inte för svenskarna.

Denna rapport visar hur en reklamfilm för en specifik produkt har utvecklats, i form av en CD-ROM-produktion. Företaget Alding AB har efterfrågat reklamfilmen för sin produkt Alding Webshop Maker 1.3. Flera olika programvaror har använts vid genomförandet, varav ljudredigeringsprogrammet Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 5.0 och bildredigeringsprogrammet Adobe Photoshop 5.5 hör till de mest frekvent använda. Med hjälp av programmet Macromedia Director 7.0 har sammanställningen av reklamfilmen utförts. Rapporten behandlar de olika problem som uppstått under arbetets gång samt hur de har kunnat undanröjas.

The purpose of this thesis is to see how small differences in a store can affect the customer behavior. The changes consist of auditory and visual sensory cues. Since many companies today makes a lot of changes in their styling element, but without knowing how it really affects the customer behavior we thought it would be interesting to see by doing an experiment at IKEA. The study is therefore based on a quantitative research method, where theories have been described and from which hypotheses have been derived to test the theories. The experience took place at IKEA during two weeks where 5732 observations were made.The result from the experiment is that the sensory cue sight makes individuals spend more time in the environment but not creating attention.

The knowledge of early employment experiences has evolved over the last decade in countries such as Australia and Great Britain. In Sweden, this type of research is still unusual and the aim of this study was to break new ground by highlighting some areas that could be of extra interest in the Swedish early employment research to come. A focus in the study was to give an overview of what job sectors school students work in; and the amount of jobs aquired through school-organized work placement, private social networks or personal marketing of own merits. In addition to this, a multi variate analysis was carried out to find patterns in the picture of early employment experiences among students at upper secondary school. The findings of the study has relevance for ways of conducting career counselling and therefore the general aim of this study is to point out the importance of developing the practises of vocational psychology.A survey among 74 teenaged school students with economics as their main subject has been carried out in a mid-size Swedish city May 2012.

Syftet med studien är att beskriva och förstå hur personal inom hälso- och sjukvårdsorganisationer förhåller sig till, samt skapar mening i en pågående, politiskt initierad förändring. Tio fokusgrupper har genomförts och analyserats utifrån teorier om organisationsförändring samt narrativ ansats. Resultatet stöder teoretiska antaganden om organisationer som narrativa system, där fragmenterat berättande, så kallade antenarrativ, utgör en viktig del av personalens menings-skapande. Resultatet visar även hur polyvokala röster är lämpliga att studeras för att skapa insikt och förståelse om hur anställda använder narrativ för att positionera sig i former av motstånd och gemenskap..

There are different ways of developing a second language. The purpose of this qualitative study is to investigate whether and possibly how music, focused on singing, can improve the development of Swedish as a second language. Through interviews with three vocal teachers, from three different schools in Sweden, and observations of one of the vocal teachers, information about how they work and think about the subject has been collected. The vocal teachers teach groups of second language learners by singing songs made especially for second language learning. The vocal teachers consider singing beneficial in the development of the pronunciation and improvement of the prosody, which affects the students? capacity to sound like a native Swedish speaker.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka om det fanns några skillnader gällande medarbetarskap, arbetsmotivation och arbetstillfredsställelse mellan kommunal och privatanställda gymnasielärare. Enkätundersökningen (N = 88) genomfördes i en kommunal och en privat gymnasieskola. Resultatet visade att det fanns signifikanta skillnader mellan kommunal och privatanställda lärare i följande dimensioner: övervakning, samarbete, engagemang, extern reglering, tillfredsställelse med arbetskamrater och tillfredsställelse med chefen. Recent papers and bills from the Swedish Government deal with the possibilities  of giving all Swedish citizens the possibility of their own creative actlvities in the cultural sector. This work is about where such actlvities shall be placed in order to make them obtainable  for all. As an example of creative work this work takes computer-based music-making. At the public library in Odense, Denmark there is a weil functioning sound workshop where the public gets the opportunity of making music with some assistance from the staff. This work shows  that also in Sweden  the public libraries are the most suitable  institutions  for placing studies for computer-based music-making  for the public depending  on the public libraries'  traditions in adult education.

Abstract Det finns en medvetenhet om hur normbrytare bestraffas i grupper på arbetet eller i sina sociala nätverk. Tidigare forskning visar på att normbrytare bestraffas för att gruppen ska återfå sin ställning men även för att individer ska få behålla sin sociala identitet. Denna undersökning tar grupper och normbrytning in i onlinespelvärlden, där det visar sig att normbrytare inom spelgrupper bestraffas aggressivt genom konflikter men också på ett milt vis genom tillsägningar. Undersökningen visar också på att en normbrytare i gruppen inte påverkar gruppens möjlighet att prestera..

The public interest in central living in today?s cities has led to an increasing effect of traffic noise pollution, and today 20% of the inhabitants in Sweden suffer from noise a level that exceeds the limits. At the same time the traffic keeps increasing, and recent researches shows that traffic noise pollution and several of today?s most common health issues are connected, for example, reduction of performance, sleeping issues and cardiovascular diseases. For this cause rules, guidelines and environmental goals has been developed, as well as software?s which calculates the levels of pollution, all this to investigate and improve the environment.

In order to broaden the understanding of work motivation the aim of the study was to compare how three different teams within the same organization constructed motivation. The three teams consisted of post sorters, team leaders and mailmen. Three focus group interviews were conducted with three men and eight women. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and thematically analysed with QSR NUD*IST. The result showed both similarities and differences in the construction of work motivation in the three teams.

Syftet med denna fallstudie var att undersöka studerandes musikskapande. Deras beskrivningar relaterades till den kompositoriska processen. Ett delsyfte var att studera skillnader i detta avseende mellan studerande med olika musikbakgrund. Deltagarna gick en fristående kurs i musikskapande där de komponerade och framförde musik. Med utgångspunkt i löst strukturerade intervjuer, processprotokoll samt inspelade kompositioner sökte jag förståelse för den kompositoriska processen och förutsättningarna för den.

Pitch Correction - is it a must? An interview inquiry about opinions concerning pitch correction in music making today. This work intends to find out what music producers, singers and those with a great interest in music really think about the use of pitch correction programs, both in the studio and live. The thoughts concerning this came when I began to work with these programs in a studio, mostly for vocal use. I realized that the thoughts and opinions about the use of pitch correction varies a lot.

Children become diagnosed with neuropsychiatry diagnostic. The diagnostic of children is critiqued from. The national board of health and welfare because the child psychiatric clinics differ in the reliability of diagnostic. This is a problem both in the same clinic and between clinics. The purpose is to investigate if parents of children with neuropsychiatry diagnostic consider that the diagnostic criteria were met when the child was diagnosed.
