The purpose of the study, "Living in Two Worlds" is to try to find out how the professionals in social work reasoning and thinking about children 0-3 years living alternate residence and how children 0-3 years are affected by form of housing . Questions are how they professional reasons and think about the type of housing, what advantages and disadvantages they consider are and the conditions under the professional must be satisfied that the child will not get hurt. Study is a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews. The theory that the study is based on the attachment theory explaining the relational processes that occurs between the child and its care person.      The results of this study show that if the parents are in great conflict with each other is important for the child cope with the alternating form of housing well or not.

I Sverige uppskattas cirka fyra procent av befolkningen ha diabetes. Socialstyrelsen rekommenderar empowermentbaserad patientundervisning för behandling av diabetes typ-2. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva sjuksköterskans och patientens upplevelse av empowermentbaserad patientundervisning till patienter med diabetes typ-2. Metoden är en litteraturstudie baserad på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar. Som teoretisk referensram har Orems generella egenvårdsteori använts.

According to the national curriculum in Swedish schools, teachers have the responsibility to prevent and discourage psychological and physical harassment (Lgr 2011). This study focuses on 7 teachers with their viewpoint and understanding of bullying as a human based social problem. The teachers, as the informants, give their personal explanation on how they act, prevent and discourage bullying in their school. The research places the emphasis, based on, interviews from which teachers are telling, relating and explaining on how they say that they are preventing and discouraging bullying.The conclusion from this study is that the interviewed teachers do, from their viewpoint, understand bullying as psychological and physical harassment problem which is based on a question of interpretation in regards to the victim. The informants do place different emphasis on what causes the problem, if it is a question of the individual or of it is a problem based on the socialization between individuals.

Syftet är att pröva genomförbarheten av postmoderna ideèr som medarbetarskapstankarna i en maskinbyråkrati utifrån medarbetarskapsteorier. Jag syftar även bedöma möjligheterna att införa medarbetarskap med hänsyn till kontexten och ställa denna bedömning mot att istället införa ett traditionellt belöningssystem enligt teorier för empowerment vilket förväntas vara tillrättalagt i maskinbyråkratin.Undersökningen utgår från medarbetarskapsteorier som ett normativt begrepp om vad ett önskvärt och gott medarbetarskap är samt från begreppet empowerment. Tidigare forskning berör förutsättningar för medarbetarskap i postmoderna organisationer, utifrån medarbetarskapsteori.En kvalitativ forskningsansats har använts i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer med nio medarbetare och tre chefer. Resultatet har sedan analysertas med hjälp av analytiska verktyg hämtade från medarbetarskapsteori, samt utifrån teorier som berör empowerment och belöningssystem.Empirin påvisade fyra utmärkande särdrag för maskinbyråkratin som bromsar upp medarbetarskap i den studerade kontexten. Dessa är uttalad avhållsamhet att delge medarbetarna ekonomisk information, vältrimmad arbetsspecialisering, styrda arbetsuppgifter och kontroll av hur det operativa arbetet utförs.

I dag förväntas individen ha empowerment, ?egenmakt?, att själv göra hälsosamma beslut kring kost som är bra för den egna hälsan. Till hjälp finns många kostbudskap vars kvalitet kan vara svår att kontrollera. Hälsoinspiratörer är en kategori individer som aktivt söker och mottar kostbudskap. Kostbudskapen kommuniceras av flera olika sändare, exempelvis media, men även från andra individer i omgivningen.

I den här uppsatsen studeras vilken betydelse och funktion ett specifikt boendestöd har åt psykiskt funktionshindrade personer, specifikt åt personer med funktionshindret Aspergers syndrom. Uppsatsen tar också upp boendestödjarnas perspektiv på verksamheten och deras arbete. Detta gjordes för att få en breddare förståelse kring vilken betydelse den här verksamheten har. Brukare fick delta i en enkätundersökning och kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med personalen och en brukare. Genom det insamlade materialet fick jag ta del en mängd intressanta tankar och åsikter kring boendestödet, det visade sig också att diagnosen roll var en central problematik för så väl brukare som personal.

This paper aims at shedding light on the effects of a broken psychological contract in terms of job satisfaction. In a qualitative field study, the author researches seven newly recruites employees about their expectations when starting their jobs at the rapidly growing, Swedish company Klarna. Using Herzbergs two-factor model of hygiene and motivation factors as well as modern motivation theory, i.e. self-determination theory, the study answers questions as to what makes a candidate choose a company and what factors motivates as well as demotivates the recruit at the job, in the onboarding phase. The result is an attempt to describe what makes a recruitment process successful..

Ma?l- och prestationsstyrning underso?ktes utifra?n ma?ltydlighet och feedback respektive psykologisk empowerment.

The purpose of this media scientific study is to contribute to a better understanding about how blind people?s empowerment and participation may affect their role in the digital society.Earlier international studies in this area have shown that blind people not only need more knowledge then the seeing population about the computer, but also about the technology behind their tools for using Internet. The results from these studies have also shown that Internet increases the blind people?s independents and that those who use Internet feel more involved in the society.A qualitative method was chosen to study the three most common categories from the earlier studies: knowledge of technology, empowerment and participation. Are there differences in the results compared to our study in Sweden 2014?Interviews with eight blind, experienced computer users have shown that knowledge of technology is essential for their use of Internet and that the Internet increases their empowerment and their participation.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the significance of organizing social- cooperative in relation to individual empowerment; and how this empowerment can be used to better the situation of others. Young surfers is a social- cooperativ that is run by cooperators with experience of substance abuse and criminality. The social- cooperativ is built on the premise that the cooperators are to set up and run a screen-printing shop where they will print t-shirts and sweatshirts. The purpose of this business is that the cooperators are given the opportunity to work and that youths with social problems such as substance abuse and criminality are given the opportunity to work-train. My study is comprised of a series of interviews and observations that I have conducted in relation to the cooperators of Young Surfers.

The aim of our study was to investigate how much self-determination persons with intellectual disabilities living in group-homes have when it comes to recreational activities. We studied what the recreational activities looked like, if there was any self-determination concerning recreational activities and which factors influenced self-determination for persons with intellectual disabilities. We used qualitative interviews with persons with intellectual disabilities, next of kin and personnel at group-homes. The result has been analyzed from earlier research, central concepts as self-determination and recreational activities and the theory of empowerment. The most important results that emerged in our study were; that recreational activities for persons with intellectual disabilities varied substantially, that there is a large number of to recreational activities available and no one seemed directly displeased with their recreational activities.

The purpose of this study was to examine how school counselors in a specific municipalityviewed their work situation, if they experienced stress and how they would handle that stress.Five school counselors out of eight in the specific municipality participated in qualitativeinterviews where they could describe their feelings and thoughts. Their experiences wasexamined and analyzed with the theories of coping and empowerment. The results showedthat there were unhealthy levels of stress in the profession amongst the five counselors. It alsoshowed that the uttermost reason for the experienced unhealthy stress was the feeling of notbeing able to give as much time and help to the pupils as they want and need. The reason forthis was that an increasing number of pupils were, and are, experiencing unhappiness and arein need of seeing the school counselor.

This study is a quantitative study designed to examine whether training in health issues may have contributed to the increase in head managers' psychological capital (PsyCap). Construction consists of the following components: self confidence, hope, optimism and resilience. A high PsyCap considered beneficial in organizational change and steer towards the positive development and helps individuals in stressful situations. The results show an increase of characteristics such as hope and optimism among managers (N = 15) who have undergone training in health issues compared with managers who have not undergone training. However, the tests show no significant difference in head managers' attitudes to health breaks, not the severity of granting health breaks in the groups as a result of training.

De senaste decennierna har begreppen empowerment och välbefinnande fått allt större utrymme i samhällsvetenskapen. I massmedia och inom den ekonomiska professionen har intresse gällande individers hälsa och organisationsförändringar i form av effektivisering av organisationsstrukturen dramatiskt ökat. Ett resultat av detta är individens ökade medvetenhet gällande deras välbefinnande. Även organisationer beaktar vikten av individers välbefinnande genom att ta hänsyn till förbättringar gällande arbetsrelaterade faktorer. Konsekvensen av detta påverkar individerna ytterliggare en nivå i deras benägenhet att avsluta sin anställning.
