In this study I?ve examined bilingual high-school students? experiences of their education held in their native language. The purpose of this study is to examine bilingual high-school students? experiences of how their school organizes the education that?s held in their native language, and how the students feel that the education in their native language has helped their overall language development and also in terms of learning in general. To complete this study I?ve interviewed six high school students and analyzed their answers using other studies and theories on this subject.

Eftersom företag ofta består av många avdelningar som tillsammans jobbar med samma projekt uppstår fler och fler svårigheter vid styrning av medarbetare och resurser. Till skillnad från företag som levererar en produkt som hela företaget står bakom kan det här handla om flera avdelningar med varsin produkt och varsin budget som mynnar ut i en slutprodukt. Företaget behöver här dels ha sätt att formulera en gemensam budget och dels att utveckla styrverktyg som ser till att denna budget efterlevs i största möjliga mån. Dessa styrverktyg kan vara alltifrån mer mjuka kvalitativa variabler till mer hårda kvantitativa. Med denna uppsats har vi valt ett försöka finna dessa styrverktyg och utifrån dem skapa en modell som skall vara till hjälp för företag likt det vi valt att undersöka.

This research is conducted on one of the world?s largest deposits - Shtokman gas and condensate field located in the Barents Sea. The development of the field is operated by the Special Purpose Company Shtokman Development AG - the international consortium of Total, Statoil and Gazprom. This research is aimed to analyze the value chain of the Shtokman project and to study the socio-economic capacity of the Murmansk region in order to examine the perspective fields of work for local companies, as well as the socio-economic potential of the region related to the gas industry that can be applied to the realization of the Shtokman project. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative data collection that involves the results of 24 semi structured interviews conducted in the Murmansk region, including the interviews with representatives of the Shtokman Development AG and the industrial committee of the Murmansk region government.

Inom dagens systemutvecklingsprojekt har testning en viktig roll för att ett företag ska kunna lyckas leverera en produkt. Testning har ofta nedprioriteras pågrund av att det största fokuset har legat på nyutveckling. Testrollen är väldigt viktig för att kunna försäkra om sin produkt är redo för marknaden. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på utmaningar och problem med testautomatiseringens startprocess i en agil systemutvecklingsmiljö. Vad företag och undersökningsföretaget som startar med testautomatiseringen kan förbereda sig på för att kunna lyckas. Undersökningen som uppsatsen bygger på har använt en induktiv ansats. Undersökningen har skett på ett undersökningsföretag som arbetar agilt inom systemutveckling.

Systemförvaltning är en viktig strategisk fråga för organisationer eftersom det säkrar ett kontinuerligt och effektivt stöd för den avsedda verksamheten. Men systemförvaltning är komplext eftersom många organisatoriska parter är inblandade och det finns behov att skapa ordning och reda bland dem genom effektiv styrning. Intresset och behovet av att strukturera förvaltningen av den komplexa IT-infrastrukturen har uppmärksammats under de senaste åren i många organisationer. Det finns olika definitioner av vad IT-infrastruktur anses vara ur tekniskt och organisatoriskt perspektiv. IT-infrastruktur är ett för brett begrepp för att kunna vara applicerbart ut ett förvaltningsperspektiv. Därför används begreppet grundläggande IT-infrastruktur istället för IT-infrastruktur för att tydliggöra vilka delar av IT-infrastrukturen som studien fokuserar.

The technological progress of the world has had a massive effect on how we communicate with one and other, it also has had an big impact on how companies communicate with their customers and consumers. Today you cannot only communicate a ?promise to your costumers and consumers you also have to ?deliver? what it is you promise. Strategic communication is today not only to market your product but to ensure that your strategic communication is shown even in you innovation, design and product development.  This thesis is conducted in collaboration with No Picnic AB.The purpose of this study was to get an insight in how Swedish companies use their strategic communication. We aim on bringing a new point of view of strategic communication with innovation, design and product development also as a communication channel.

A recent trend in the technological evolution has been to increase the mobility of the end-user. A contributing factor is the fast rate of improvement in the smartphone area. This, in turn, has changed the expectations end-users have on the availability of services, which has allowed mobile applications, apps, to find their place in everyday life.This study has been conducted at Scania?s Fleet Management department that offers a web-based service where haulage contractors can administer, monitor and follow up on their vehicle fleets. The purpose of this study was to investigate if Scania?s existing web service should be extended into the mobile area, and if so, what organizational and technical challenges app development imposes.

This paper deals with the difficulties of applying user-centered design practices as an independent developer, based on the visualization of a game concept in the form of a prototype. The aim is to evaluate the usability of user-centered design practices, specifically in the field of games development. Throughout this paper, I will give an account of the methods used for testing, as well as a review of previous research done in this field of study. Finally, I will end with a discussion regarding the pros and cons of user-centered design, as well as some thoughts about its importance in similar projects..

I denna djungel av marknadsföring har företag ibland valt en annan strategi, en relativt outnyttjad strategi, som baseras på rykten om produkten, tjänsten eller företaget och är det som används som marknadsföring. Denna strategi kallas för word of mouth. Ena syftet har varit att undersöka hur word of mouth definieras av olika författare. Genom att göra en jämförelse av teorier av begreppet word of mouth har ett försök gjorts att skapa en definition av begreppet, som tillämpas på vårt andra syfte med undersökningen.

We live in an exciting society, characterized by continuous changes and challenges. The effects of the globalization are widespread. The continuous flow of people, capital and goods follows in the wake of advances in communications, transport and information technology, resulting in a changed situation for different stakeholders in the society. This situation leads to increased cooperation and exchange, but also increased competition. The primary means of collecting empirical data for this study was interviews and a document study.

This essay is about how and why teachers use fiction litterature as a teaching method. It´s based on a study among eight teachers in year 4-6 at a school in Mariehamn in the Åland Islands. The results show the high importance of using fiction litterature in education. Fiction literature is highly valued in all subjects as it stimulates the students development of language, empathy and fantasy. The curriculum´s aim of using fiction litterature is to stimulate the pleasure of reading.

Visualization is a rapidly growing area of computer graphics. Due to the very progressive development of computer technology and especially 3D-graphic boards yesterdays imagination of visualizations, today is a reality. At Saab Bofors Dynamics in Linköping missile systems are developed. Through the development, different subsystems are simulated before the manufacturing starts. The results of these simulations have to be visualized to get a meaning.

This study illustrates the views of working socialpedagogues when it comes to socialpedagogical and social work within compulsary schools. The focus of the study is on how social problems can be prevented and get noticed among children and youths in compulsary school, and what possibilities of development there are in preventive social work. The socialpedagogue?s capability for supporting this development, together with people that are important in the children?s and youths?s lifes, opens up new possibilities in the future for the social work in schools. The main concepts in the study is treatment and attitude, interaction and cooperation with different people inside and outside the school as well as individual- and grouporientated work.

This study was the foundation for an evaluation of an employment project in Sweden. The project offers occupations in carpentry as well as kitchen work for people with psychiatric disorders, substance abuse and other social difficulties. This studies purpose was to analyze the projects significance to its participants and also to distinguish weather the project influences the participant?s life in a professional or private way. The methodological tool was five qualitative interviews with the participants and three qualitative interviews with the employees.

Att som entreprenör utveckla en ny idé till en kommersiell och lönsam produkt är ingen lätt uppgift. Förutom de rent tekniska utmaningarna så måste expansionen av företaget och utvecklingen av produkten eller produktionsprocessen finansieras. Denna uppsats kommer att behandla frågan om det finns några framgångsfaktorer eller fällor som expanderande teknikföretag lätt hamnar i genom en kvalitativ studie av två case-företag. Målet med denna uppsats är att på djupet studera vad expanderande företag bör tänka på vid extern finansiering med kapital mot ägande, även kallat riskkapital. Utifrån teoriavsnittet kommer samband att kopplas till case-företagens genomförande av den externa finansieringen.
