De erbjuder i nuläget webbutbildningar gjorda i Flash men söker andra alternativ där de kan redigera utbildningar samt integrera webbutbildningarna i deras webbtjänst Inspectera Online.Den här rapporten handlar om skapandet av en prototyp för en webbutbildningsmodul som implementerats på Inspectera Online. Fokus ligger främst på presentationsverktyget i modulen och en jämförelse med liknande verktyg som finns tillgängliga på internet. I resultatet presenteras för- och nackdelar för respektive presentationsverktyg med avseende på funktionalitet och vilka möjligheter till integration som finns..

Den här rapporten presenterar processen och resultatet av mitt examesarbete i Industridesign på bachelor-nivå vid Umeå Institute of Design. Projektet har handlat om att ta fram ett koncept för att ladda mobiltelefoner i offentliga miljöer som flygplatser och tågstationer. Tänk dig in i scenariot att du är på flygplatsen, ditt flyg är försenat, du har slut på batteri i mobiltelefonen, du har glömt laddaren till telefonen hemma och du är dålig på att komma ihåg telefonnummer. The most dominating type of company in Sweden is the small-sized business and it usually lacks its own marketing department. The purpose of this paper was to analyze several small Swedish businesses which are specialized in different sectors of the Mechanic/Technology industry but they are similar in terms of having niched products and they are leading companies in the world. Bergslagets museum is one of the oldest industrial museums in Sweden. It opened in 1922 in Falun, by the big mining company Stora Kopparbergs Bergslags Aktiebolag. This is a study of why a company would be interested in running a museum, why Bergslagets museum opened and who the people were that created it.Several persons were involved in collecting and organizing the models of old machinery, letters, paintings, pictures that was to become the Bergslagets museum. This paper shows different motives behind the opening of an industrial museum in Falun and gives a presentation of its superintendants, Carl Sahlin, Alvar Silow, Erik Johan Ljungberg and Olof Söderberg. This thesis describes how the chip space and coolant channels are designed in today?s mills, the ideas behind the design and what is considered to be the best method of cooling. It contains ideas on how the chip space can be simplified. It contains several concepts on how the cooling could be designed for better efficiency and manufacturability. There are also suggestions on how the cooling could be stopped when the cutter isn?t cutting.

The project was conducted during a period from November 2014 to January 2015 at the company Westermo Teleindustri AB (WTE). The subject of the project was to make an inventory more efficient. The inventory was located at WTE, but was owned by the subsidiary Westermo Sverige (WSE).The inventory had a high amount of tied up capital. This was due to products that hadn?t been sold.

Today there is a widespread opinion that the woodmarket and the forest industry are dominated by a traditional way of thinking and not adapted to the customers of today; a lot of products are produced purely on routine. Also, there is a demand for improving the quality of sawn woodproducts. AB Karl Hedin wants to sort this out by increasingly adapt their products to the demands of the market, i.e. through introducing a short wallstud of standard length, "Hedinregeln". Creating a database to manage medical data is not the easiest. We create a database to be used for a presentation tool that presents medical data about patients that is stored in the database. We examine which of the three databases, MySQL with relational design, MySQL with EAV design and MongoDB that are best suited for storing medical data. The analysis i performed in two steps. The first step handles the database that is most effective to retriev data. The second step examines how easy it is to change the structure of the various databases. The results show that depending on whether efficiency or maintenance is most important, different databases are the best choise. MySQL with relational design proves to be most effective while MongoDB is the easiest to maintain..

Vi ville undersöka om det var möjligt att på en begränsad budget bygga och programmera en Live Slow Motion-maskin för att generera repriser under en TV-sändning. Utan tillgång till dyrare specialtillverkad hårdvara skulle allt skötas i mjukvara på i grunden en vanlig konsument-PC. Vi ville så långt som möjligt att vår maskin skulle efterlikna de etablerade produkter som används i TV-branchen då vår förhoppning var att maskinen skulle kunna utnyttjas av TV-studenter efter färdigställandet. Vi ville dock inte begränsa oss för mycket, utan vi skulle försöka förbättra de saker vi ansåg behövde förändras..

Syftet med denna uppsats är att belysa folkbibliotekens arbete med crossoverlitteratur samt vilka möjligheter begreppet och fenomonet ger biblioteken, främst när det kommer till marknadsföring. De tre forskninsfrågorna rörde definition av crossoverlitteratur, placering och marknadsföring av crossoverlitteratur samt presentation av crossoverlitteratur i bibliotekskatalogen. De besvaras genom kvalitativa semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer med bibliotekarier på sex olika bibliotek samt genom en granskning av några crossovertitlar i bibliotekens kataloger. Slutsatser som drogs var att det är ett svårdefinierat begrepp och att litteraturen fortfarande värderas olika beroende vilken den tilltänkta åldersgruppen är. Det är fortfarande en tydlig indelning mellan ungdom och vuxen på de flesta bibliotek när det gäller placering och marknadsföring, men bibliotekarierna skulle vilja att gränsen blev mindre tydlig..

Denna rapport beskriver en produktutvecklingsprocess som behandlar utvecklandet av ett textilt material som isolerar och skyddar. Det textila materialet ska fungera till ett kylande fodral utan att förstöra dess funktion och behöver därför uppfylla en speciell kravspecifikation. Materialet ska isolera mot kroppsvärme, vara stabilt, skyddande och slitstarkt. Dubbelväv valdes tidigt i arbetet då det är ett enkelt sätt att kunna påverka det textila materialets egenskaper i form av material- och konstruktionsval, i en betydligt större utsträckning än i en enkelsidig väv. För att utveckla ett material med de efterfrågade egenskaperna har tester utförs och den metod som har använts är hypotesprövning.

Participation, public art and participatory public art as phenomenons and subjects have been studied and discussed. With interviews and observations as a base, we have studied projects and discussed participation, effect and quality in relation to these. Furthermore we have looked at how the participatory art processes work in Sweden and England. This essay seeks to discuss the process of participatory public art and to emphasize the elements contributing to the quality of this process. It is up to us as planners to recognize the possibilities for a qualitative place. To mediate between different interests, for example between politicians and stakeholders, between economics and quality, between the place and its users, between individuals and the community, and in our case between artists, users and the municipality. Public art has gone from being about the product, an art piece, to becoming more of a process, from non interactive to interactive. Participation ranges from receiving information to play an active part in the process. Four cases have been studied, taken both from Sweden and England, showing the diversity of processes connected to Participatory Public Art. From interviews conducted in Sweden and England information and thoughts have been received and they show a higher degree of use of participatory public art in England, and also a higher consciousness.
