A common assumption in marketing is the wider variety of product a corporation has, the better for the consumer: more product - more choices. Companies often develop a line extension to broaden consumer range through product attributes including quality, function and design. These developed attributes within the product are not always optimal for the consumer. As a result, companies often become entangled in having a price higher than the cost and benefit of the products. This essay aims to analyze the consumer value of line extension products and how these evaluations relate to extended line product pricing.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om en högre risk ger en fondsparare i PPM högre avkastning vid ett långsiktigt fondsparande och om den avkastningen speglar den risk spararen tar.Metod: En kvantitativ studie som är baserad på sekundärdata, som är inhämtad från Morningstar. 60 pensionsfonder analyseras från tre olika riskkategorier, med en mätperiod på 10 år. Frågeställningarna har besvarats med hjälp av relevanta teorier, hypotesprövning och korrelationsanalys.Slutsats: Efter att ha undersökt dessa PPM-fonder så kan man väl konstatera att en högre risk ger en högre avkastning. Däremot speglar inte avkastningen ökningen i risk, förvisso har högriskfonderna bäst sharpkvot men lågrisk fonderna har bättre än medelriskfonderna, vilket betyder att vi inte kan säga att avkastningen i förhållande till risken blir lika bra eller bättre för att du ökar ditt risktagande..

Working with health-management has become something most organizations would describe as essential for being legitimate today. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how this subject is handled in an existing company and how this work is percieved by the employees in the organization. Due to the fact that limited research has been conducted on this issue, we see this thesis as a potential for increasing the understanding of how health management is articulated in practice. Our results show that health management in our studied organization is far reaching in comparison with most organizations, but has room for improvement according to the Integral Theory. The consequence of differences in perceptions between management and employees could result in that health management does not become an integral part of the company and its daily operations to the potential extent..

Background and research problem: The former highly inflationary property market is currently undergoing a stagnation process. Investors have been used to annual growth figures in double digits,but now this is no longer considered to be a realistic outlook for future years. According to a report from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Urban Land Institute, published by Avanza Wealth Management,the three most attractive markets for property investment in Europe are London, Paris and Stockholm. Because of this the authors have focused their investigation on two companies in the London andStockholm. The authors will additionally use an international bank, an estate agent and a consultancy firm for further information, with regards to the property market and risks associated with these typesof investment in particular.

The ongoing harmonization process aims to incorporate IFRS regulations into the Swedish accounting. As a consequence investment property?s starting from 2005 may be valued using the fair value method, in accordance to IAS 40. This study aims to disclose how an asymmetric planogram structure of the brand with the highest actual variety may come to affect the brand itself and its category as a whole. The authors of the study feel that there is a gap still unfilled amongst previous extensive research examining how differences in either space or price vary between categories, products or brands. An in-store experiment was conducted by collecting quantitative data from daily sales, observations of customers and questionnaires. The results show that an asymmetric structure leads to customers being more attentive towards the brand, and perceives it to be more dominant over its surrounding competitors. Då konkurrensen mellan företag har blivit hårdare och att behålla de talangfulla medarbetarna blivit viktigare har Talent Management fått större utrymme i dagens forskning och fler företag har börjat använda sig av det. Talent Management handlar om att attrahera och ta vara på talanger i företag och att ha rätt person på rätt plats vid rätt tidpunkt.För att få bättre förståelse för hur företag arbetar med Talent Management och om det är något som är positivt för företag, har vi valt att göra en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer på ett fallföretag inom banksektorn. Vi har utgått från ett företagsledningsperspektiv och har därför valt att intervjua respondenter på ledande positioner. Sex personer har intervjuats och vi har sedan analyserat resultatet med hjälp av olika teorier inom ämnet Talent Management. Syftet har varit att undersöka om Talent Management kan leda till konkurrensfördelar för företaget.Det som framkommit under empirin är att respondenterna är positiva till arbetet med Talent Management och kan se många fördelar till följd av detta.

This master thesis is developed based on the desire of the water and sewage department in the municipality of Karlskrona. The department, which vouches for the quality of produced drinking water and sewage cleaning, was in need of help dealing with risk analysis.The water and sewage department is obliged to identify and assess risks according to Swedish legislation. However, no guides for this purpose regarding safety, health, environment and quality were available. The aim of this report was to accomplish a guideline for the performance of risk analysis within water and sewage plants. If the guideline is used, the requirements in the legislation will be obtained.

The purpose of this study was to review a group of youths in a municipality which all had committed criminal acts. The study is based on 66 youths between the ages of 13 and 20 that were all matters for the social services. The social inquiries of the youths where reviewed using a quantitative method. Their backgrounds where examined to identify what type of risk factors they had and what type of crimes they had committed with an aim to detect if there were a relationship between the risk factors and the art of the crime. The result of the study showed that the majority had committed crimes against another person and the risk factors included family related factors and school problems.
