One of the areas in which current theory on entrepreneurship is ambiguous is in the explanation of how entrepreneurs act when entering a new market. One author that has attempted to contribute in this area is Saras D. Sarasvathy who has tried to explain the entrepreneurs reasoning through the theory of causation and effectuation. The former refers to a reasoning that takes the effect of an entrepreneurial action as given, while the latter looks upon the effects as uncertain, while only the means are given. With a foundation in this theory, Sarasvathy claims that when entrepreneurs enters a new market the level of environmental uncertainty is so high that reasoning based on causal relationships is rendered useless.

This Swedish essay deals with a study of two tourist brochures of Värmland from two different years, 2005 and 2007. The purpose is to examine what their differences and similarities are through a comparison. My focus is put on what tourist categories the brochures mainly turn to. I want to se if they turn to all tourists or if they lean towards a special group of people.To guide me I have used both textual and picture interpretation.I have created my own tourist categorization as a tool for my study, named The matter tourist-related categorization. It contains six categories which all have some common denominator where tourists will fit in.The result shows that all tourist categories are mentioned even if some are more frequently mentioned than others.Key words: Tourism, brochures, categorization, interpretation, nature and culture..

Nathan Söderblom, Swedish archbishop 1914 - 1931, understands his role as bishop from an integrated theological conception that episcopacy is a gift to the church and the apostolic succession a heritage of utmost value. Episcopacy is an important tool to make the churches come together. in his work for peace during the Great War it was through his position without any power that he could approach the politicians. His calling was not only for Sweden; he had a responsibility for the whole world. The expectations of a successful outcome are great during childbirth. The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the expectant parents.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how some librarians working at a public library experience problems that can occur at the reference interview, slightly focusing on communication difficulties. Therefore I interviewed three librarians working at the reference desk on a daily basis. I chose to limit the study to public libraries and to the south of Sweden. My main question is: what difficulties can a librarian encounter during a reference interview and what can he/she do to treat these? In support of my main question I have three subordinated questions:What reasons can there be to a librarian not understanding a user?s information need?What methods are useful for a librarian to enhance the condition of the reference interview? What attitudes and qualities can be of use for the librarian at a difficult reference interview?For the collection of empirical data I chose to use semi-structured interviews.

The aim of this study is to look at the way four teachers in, and five workbooks for, the course Svenska 1/A+B in upper-secondary schools include language varieties in their content. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative analyzes of the workbooks, where words and content are examined, and also interviews with the teachers who presents how they work with language varieties in their education. The results show that language varieties are accepted in school-education at the same time as they are, and have been, alienated in a way. The results also show that language varieties are less prioritized than other areas of education in the same subject..

The purpose of this thesis is to find out how gender roles are described in musical lyrics written for children. I used gender theories that describe how stereotypical gender roles are displayed in music and these theories were later compared with the songbooks I studied. The thesis is a qualitative study to detect masculine and feminine related differences in the texts. After having read, analyzed and compared over 200 songs I found that the stereotype notions of masculinity and femininity is reflected in songs. Society has transferred in this way normative values on to the children through the songs that teachers choose to sing in schools..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera ekonomistyrning i småföretag, där företagsledaren och ägaren är samma person och hur företagsledaren styr företaget med hjälp av ekonomistyrningen. Vi är också intresserade av att undersöka vilken roll den externa konsulten har för det mindre företagets ekonomistyrning. Vi har därför medvetet valt att studera företag som är olika i det avseendet att de sköter ekonomin inom företaget i olika omfattning. För att försäkra oss om att företaget har någon form av utvecklade rutiner för ekonomistyrning har vi undersökt etablerade företag. Bakgrund: I Sverige drabbas 10-15 % av nyblivna mammor av depression efter förlossningen. Det är viktigt att identifiera mammorna. En postpartumdepression kan störa samspelet och anknytningen mellan mamma och barn. I Barnavårdscentralens (BVC) basprogram finns ett riktat besök med fokus på mammornas psykiska hälsa när barnen är 6- 8 veckor där mammorna erbjuds fylla i ett screening-formulär.  Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva BVC-sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att identifiera mammor med tecken på depression.  Metod: En kvalitativ induktiv design valdes. Elva BVC-sjuksköterskor intervjuades utifrån en semistrukturerad intervjuguide.

AbstractWe decided to explore former school pupils? experiences of not conforming to the norm. Earlier studies have focused on the children as ?the problem?.  We see this as worrying, especially since there is very little research focusing on the pupils? own experiences. The children?s own perspective needs to be brought to the fore.

Forestry is increasing on an industrial scale where collection of logging residues takes a greater part. This has resulted in more machinery and heavy machinery driving in the clear felled area, this increases the risk of soil damage that will occur in the form of soil compacting and rutting in the clearings. This affecting on the nature in a negative way and especially in rivers and lakes that are affected by siltation and acidification leading to increased levels of heavy metals and methyl mercury. The purpose of this study was to investigate why there is damage to the ground when working with the slash in forest management from the forest officer point of view. A self-designed questionnaire was used and 45 questionnaires were sent out to various companies all over Sweden.

Bakgrund: I Sverige minskar årligen självmorden totalt men bland 15?24-åringar kan en viss ökning ses. Bakom självmord ligger oftast depression men även utanförskap, känsla av hopplöshet och annat emotionellt lidande som kan utlösa suicidalitet. Statistiskt sett har självmordsförsöken, den enskilt största risken för fullbordat självmord, ökat kraftigt främst hos flickor. Viktigt är att ha kunskap om riskgrupper och symtom för att tidigt kunna identifiera självmordstankar och på så sätt rädda liv.
