Syftet med fo?religgande studie a?r att utifra?n nyhetsrapporteringen om Wikileaks och Julian Assange underso?ka hur Assange framsta?llts i tva? svenska tidningar 2010-2011. Underso?kningen analyserar i synnerhet hur Assange konstrueras i relation till Wikileaks och a?talet om sexualbrott i Sverige. Totalt analyseras 31 artiklar fra?n de tva? svenska tidningarna Dagens Nyheter och Aftonbladet, framtaget genom ett ha?ndelseorienterat urval.Uppsatsen utga?r fra?n teorier om nyhetsjournalistikens roll att konstruera en mediepersonlighet.

Vid prismätning av varukorg har det framkommit att prisnivå mellan de olika butikerna betydligt skiljer åt, mellan 17 ? 47 % lägre genomsnittspris för varukorgen på Lidl än hos de andra dagligvaruhandlarna. I sin tur kommer de att sätta Press på sina leverantörer så att leverantörernas förhandlingsstyrka försvagas, speciellt när det handlar om de små/lokala leverantörerna.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the daily Press, morning and evening papers respectively, describe homeless people and their situation from a number of chosen articles. Was there a possibility to make clear if the public opinion of homelessness has changed from a media perspective during the last five years? In order to meet the purpose of the study, the authors have used discourse analysis of the chosen articles as well as the theory of social constructions and the theory of stigmatizing. The articles have been chosen from the two largest daily morning papers and the two largest evening papers. From each article many rich and close quotations are used, which subsequently have been analysed and interpreted.

The municipality of Falkenberg is a result of a unification of several smaller municipalities in 1971, each one with a small library. This left Falkenberg with an unusual large amount of smaller branch libraries. The object of this thesis is to describe and try to understand the political conflicts that have erupted during the period 1971-1994. Through a case study containing Press clippings from the local newspaper, different reports, political meeting protocols, a historical background of the library and a study of library specific norms and regulations I can create an image of the heated debate. The participants in this debate can be divided into politicians and civil servants and the conflict circles round the fact that from an economical perspective, there is not enough budget to keep all the small, local libraries.

En kvalitativ undersökning av hur de största svenska tidningarna rapporterade om Michael Jacksons död. Genom en innehållsanalys och intervjuer med journalister kartläggs det första dygnet efter stjärnans bortgång för att se hur nöjesjournalister bemöter nyheter genom att undersöka vilka källor man använde och vad man valde att publicera på webben och i pappret. Detta görs genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av mediamaterialet samt strukturerade intervjuer med journalisterna som jobbade under det valda dygnet. Centralt för uppsatsen är hur journalister på Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet och ExPressen ställer sig till kändissajten TMZ och hur de värderar sajten som källa. Den teoretiska bakgrunden utgörs av studier i medieetik, källkritik och kändiskultur.

In January of 2014 a newly founded company held a Press conference in central Stockholm. The purpose of the conference was to inform about Lexbase, the largest database on the Internet with legal information about the Swedish general public. The aim of this particular paper is to use news reports about Lexbase as material to identify the theses and their types presented in Swedish newspapers, and to examine the ideology constructed and presented by the theses in the said news reports. The questions asked in the paper are 1. What the distribution of different theses looks like and is there a type of thesis that more often invokes an implicit argumentation? 2.

Julia Rolandsdotter, Idéer om samhälle och individ: Abortdebatten under 1960- och 1970-tal med inriktning på realpolitik och ideologi, Uppsala Universitet: Institutionen för idé- och lärdomshistoria, C-uppsats, HT 2013.This essay aims to investigate and scrutinize the debate surrounding abortion during the years of 1964 and 1974 respectively. By analyzing elements of different opinions in the debate from daily Press, a wide range of aspects concerning the issues of free abortion have been distinguishable. This analysis shows that the abortion debate was, to a high degree, a question of Realpolitik and ideology whereas the differences over time have been visible rather than the differences between parties of varying opinion. By applying the theories of Ian Hacking concerning the effects of categorization, ideas surrounding people and society among others, have been highlighted in the debate. In 1964 we see ideas about the woman as motherly or a victim and the society as defective or exposed among other factors.
