The goal and purpose of this essay is to study if and how multimodality is used within a Swedish school in Kalmar. This is accomplished by observing the different modalities inside the classroom and how the use of different modalities affects the teaching. Unstructured observations combined with a material-based thematic Presentation leads up to an analysis based on social semiotics and multimodality. The essay shows how the teaching uses lots of modalities: sound, images, movies, speeches and literary text in lots of different ways. This thesis discusses the existential consequences for the human being in creatio ex nihilo, where the main subjects of discussion are contingency, freedom and identity. This study examines how yoga is presented in a Swedish journal called Sökaren. Sweden is often presented as one of the most secular states in the world, and for that reason it is interesting to examine the Swedish way of religiosity by looking, in this case, at the depiction of yoga. I compare two periods of time, the first one from 1964 to 1974 and the latter from 1998 to 2008. I will thereby be able to examine tendencies and changes in the Presentation of yoga. The purpose with this essay is to see if billingualism is understood within the litterature, in the society and among students and facultyteachers. We have read interresting theoris about billingualism and we brought this with us to the schools when we interviewed two principals in two seperate schools and when we performed an investigation, in a form of questionnaries, in one of the schools. They where made with teachers and students in ninth grade. We´ve divided the studie in three parts: the first part contains a theoretical background of what billingualism is. This project was intended to develop and improve my skills as an artist/designer. I have used inspirational sources and followedmy artist?s intuition to create something that is individual and a reflection of myself.My goal was to design 7-10 compositions and apply them to t-shirts and then create a photo arrangement with these t-shirts to make a strong artistic Presentation.I chose to apply my images to t-shirts, because I feel that the tshirt is a perfect median to display pieces of art. My process has been very non-linear in nature. Jag har i denna uppsats försökt med hjälp av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning ge en bild av högstadieelevers attityd till religionsämnet. Enkäten innehåller 14 strukturerade (med fasta svarsalternativ) attitydfrågor kopp-lade till religionskunskap. Uppsatsen innehåller dessutom en översiktlig Presentation av religionsämnets ut-veckling under 1900-talet samt en kort genomgång av några böcker och uppsatser som skrivits om elevers at-tityd till religion och religionsämnet. Syftet med den här studien har varit att beskriva hur lärarens Presentation av division i undervisningen för årskurs 3 påverkar elevernas val av strategier när de räknar division. Undersökningen genomfördes genom kvalitativa intervjuer med en lärare samt åtta elever. Vid intervjuerna fick eleverna räkna några tal och samtidigt förklara hur de tänker.
