To be able to maintain an adequate ITservice for various users and needs,more municipalities are looking at thepossibility for mergers of local ITdepartments. One solution for mergingmultiple services/functions and creatingsynergy opportunities is called SharedService Center (SSC). The concept of SSCis that the administrative serviceitself becomes a core activity withinthe organization. The aim of this thesisis to provide municipalities who areconsidering a merging of their local ITdepartments with recommendations on howto design the Shared IT Service Center.Recommendations are outlined based on ananalysis of IT-management literature,reports and by conducting a study onthree ongoing collaborations.The conclusions drawn from the studysuggest guidelines for the design of aShared IT Service Center formunicipalities. These are as following:Create a vision associated with aspecific and structured target state.Identify needs for different targetgroups in municipalities and set acommon standard.Create a clear and practical model/SLAappearance of the cooperation andagreement.Ensure the individual municipalitiescommissioning skills in order to notlose it in the context of a common IToperation.Find an organization that is democraticfor member municipalities andfacilitates long-term partnership.Specify the operation and maintenance sothat it can be regulated and controlledEstablish a common help desk.Establish a common standard andconsolidated infrastructure before theintroduction of a common technology platform..

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject.    I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Through ?assessment for learning? we can help the students to improve their self-assessment and understanding of the learning process.

Samfundet Jehovas vittnen avsäger sig blodtransfusion på grund av sin religiösa tro. Sjukvården ställs inför etiska problem när det uppstår en situation då patienten behöver blodprodukter. För vårdaren uppstår etiska konflikter mellan viljan att rädda liv, medicinska och juridiska aspekter samt patientens autonomi. Syftet med vår uppsats är att belysa de etiska problem som vårdaren kan möta i sjukvårdspraxis. Metoden som använts är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie och bygger på fyra vetenskapliga artiklar och en avhandling.

The purpose of this essay is to shed light upon the ecumenical work that has been done between the Church of Sweden and the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden. The recent years of work have led to a recommendation for a certain degree of fellowship to be established between those churches. This proposal as well as other documents are analysed in the essay from an ecclesio-logical point of view, to find out how the Church of Sweden looks upon itself in meeting another church.To structure the material, the essay has been subdivided into seven parts that is related to ecclesiology. In those seven chapters the positions of the Church of Sweden and the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden are given individually as well as in common. Questions like the im-portance of dioceses, local congregations or parishes and the national level are described.

This paper conducts a qualitative examination based on interviews with six childrens librarians. The purpose is to put a perspective on the librarians competence and focal knowledge within the area of reading promotion and reading stimulation aimed for children, and also to examine how this competence and knowledge is constructed. The work is based on the following questions: How do childrens librarians experience reading promotion and reading stimulation within their profession? Which competence and what knowledge do childrens librarians experience as most important in order to make their work with reading promotion and reading stimulation function? What can be concluded regarding the construction of their competence and knowledge? The analysis is carried out from theories about competence, tacit knowledge and reading promotion. Following primary conclusions are drawn from the study: The professional role is mainly experienced as promoting reading as pleasure, but also as an important factor for childrens language development.

This essay deals with how the development of society, the media society in particular, has an impact on the teaching of the subject of art. In the society of today, we are bombarded with more images than ever before. As an effect of this, the curriculum of 2011 emphasises the importance of the ability to orientate oneself in the modern society. Furthermore, it describes art not only as a practical subject, but also as a verbal and community-orientated subject. Because of sparse and dated research, the subject of art is in danger of marginalization as a school subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate art teachers? conception of the aim of the subject of art.

My purpose with this study is to examine whether or how teachers are gender-conscious in preschool everyday situations. That is, if they are aware of their attitude and treatment of work on gender and what gender concept has relevance for educators. In much of the practical literature that I read, it appears that many teachers are not aware of their responses and attitudes to children based on gender aspect. I have examined how the gender work differs in the two preschools that I chosen to study.The questions that this study is based on isDoes the educators at the preschools work gender conscious in everyday situations?-Is it boys or girls who get the most attention from educators in everyday situations?What do the teachers at the preschool concept of gender?What approach have been the teachers of preschool to counteract traditional gender patterns in everyday situations?I have made ??a qualitative study where I interviewed five educators and made ??observations on the two preschools.

Abstract      Background: Stroke, caused by a blood clot or a bleeding in the brain, is one of the large endemic diseases in Sweden. The symptoms are very individual and depend on where the stroke is located. The nurse is a key person due to the importance to individualize the rehabilitation of the patient. The consequences after a stroke are not only visible functions reductions but also cognitive and practical problems. Stroke often leads to extensive changes in life, and individuals who get a stroke have to adjust their daily life. Aim: The aim of the study was to describe individuals? experiences of changes in daily life, one year or more after a stroke. Method: An inductive, qualitative approach was used.

De senaste årens forskning har tydligt visat på elevers svårigheter att utveckla begreppsförståelse inom ämnesområdet genetik. I denna studie har jag valt att intervjua lärare i några svenska gymnasieskolor för att undersöka om de identifierar samma problem med genetikundervisningen som finns dokumenterade i forskningslitteraturen samt hur de arbetar för att eleverna skall nå uppsatta kunskapsmål. De intervjuade lärarna bekräftar samtliga av de huvudproblem som forskningslitteraturen utpekar. Eleverna har svårt att utveckla begreppsförståelse inom den grundläggande genetiken. Detta leder bland annat till en mycket begränsad förmåga att, på basis av genetisk kunskap, ta ställning i frågor som rör gentekniska metoders tillämpningar.

Syfte: Att få en djupare förståelse för vilka problem som finns med det arbetsplatsförlagda lärandet för byggelever på gymnasieskolans byggprogram. De frågeställningar som jag har arbetat för att få besvarat i min undersökning är: 1. Vilka problem finns med hur handledarskapet ser ut på byggföretagen?2. Vilka problem finns med matchningen mellan gymnasieskolans teoretiska undervisning jämfört med det som eleven får utföra?Metod: Studien är genomförd som en kvalitativ undersökning där data samlats in genom personliga intervjuer med chefer och handledare på byggföretag.Resultat: Det framgår i studien att handledarna oftast är outbildade inom handledarskapet och att detta med stor sannolikhet är relaterat till att handledarutbildning inte efterfrågas från skolans sida och att relevant information om handledarutbildningar inte tillhandahålls gentemot byggföretagen. Samtidigt finns ett problem i att byggarbetsplatserna har tidsbrist, vilket kan yttra sig i att även om man försöker arbeta med god pedagogik så finns inte tiden för detta alla gånger. Hur man ska göra för att överkomma detta framgår inte i studien.

This report describes the development of a system for controlling documents. The report starts with a problem description which the company wants an intranet-based solution for. The report then continues to describe the development phase for the different parts of the system which results in a complete system. The company that wanted this system is called Orbit One and is located in Ronneby, Sweden. They have had a problem with old documents circulating in different versions and in different binders.

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) är ett neuropsykiatriskt funktionshinder som påverkar miljontals individer. Tidigare forskning visar att 3-5 % av Sveriges befolkning har ADHD. Fördelningen är en kvinna på 3-4 män. En av anledningarna till att kvinnor med ADHD inte lika ofta som män uppmärksammas i utredningssyfte kan vara att de inte utmärker sig i lika stor utsträckning som män. Män med ADHD utvecklar oftare asocial samsjuklighet, medan kvinnorna oftare utvecklar samsjuklighet såsom t.ex.

AbstractThe aim for this study is to establish how teachers and supervisors at the Child and Recreation Programme interpret the concept ?vocational knowledge?. It is also about how they substantially can see that the pupils are developing vocational knowledge, during their work placement training. The aim of this thesis is to create a base for teachers to work with continuing development in teaching practice. The empirical part of this study is based on interviews. Interviews were analyzed in three categories: definition of vocational knowledge, substantially developing in vocational knowledge and success factors. The result shows that knowing how and knowing why is salient in vocational knowledge.

SammanfattningPsykiska problem som till exempel schizofreni framställs ofta som kroniska, trots att forskning visar att återhämtning är möjlig. Hopp som personal förmedlar under en återhämtningsprocess har en positiv inverkan på individens tillfrisknande. Syftet med vår uppsats är att finna sociala faktorer som är betydelsefulla vid återhämtning från psykiska problem. Sociala faktorer inbegriper även människors attityder till individer med psykiska problem. Vår frågeställning är: Vilka sociala faktorer bidrar till att en person med psykiska problem återhämtar sig? Med uppsatsen vill vi inge hopp till människor med psykiska problem samt till berörd personal.Undersökningen är en kvalitativ studie baserad på intervjuer med sex medlemmar i RSMH, Riksförbundet för Social och Mental Hälsa.

I dagsläget pågår en debatt kring onödiga kostnader inom byggbranschen. Denna rapport visar ett exempel på hur onödiga kostnader kan uppstå i ett byggprojekt och vad de beror på. För att undersöka problem och eventuella följdkostnader har vi granskat samarbetet mellan Skanska och Kadoprefab när det gäller prefabricerade byggelement i trä till projektet Kv. Gruvan i Nyköping. I vår undersökning har vi använt oss av intervjuer, studiebesök och diskussioner med berörda parter för att få en opartisk bild.
