An interesting company to study within this context is Econova. Econova operates within the recycling and gardening industry and has been identified as a possible catalyst for industrial symbiosis.

This research is conducted on one of the world?s largest deposits - Shtokman gas and condensate field located in the Barents Sea. The development of the field is operated by the Special Purpose Company Shtokman Development AG - the international consortium of Total, Statoil and Gazprom. This research is aimed to analyze the value chain of the Shtokman project and to study the socio-economic capacity of the Murmansk region in order to examine the perspective fields of work for local companies, as well as the socio-economic Potential of the region related to the gas industry that can be applied to the realization of the Shtokman project. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative data collection that involves the results of 24 semi structured interviews conducted in the Murmansk region, including the interviews with representatives of the Shtokman Development AG and the industrial committee of the Murmansk region government.

This essay is focused on the marketing phenomenon buzz marketing. Buzz marketing is all about making the consumers to talk about your product. In the world we are living in with all the marketing messages, companies tries to find new ways to reach the consumers with their marketing message. The essay consists of 6 interviews with a low level of structure and standardisation. The material from these interviews has been analyzed with the help from the theories of buzz marketing, word of mouth, marketing communication, consumer behaviour, relationship marketing, one-to-one marketing and marketing ethics.

Traditionellt sett har gurkmeja använts för medicinskt bruk i många olika länder och kulturer för en rad olika besvär på både djur och människor. Användningen idag är framför allt som kosttillskott, som del i digestionsbefrämjande medel och för att lindra ledbesvär. I Sverige idag är Galexir det enda godkända traditionellt växtbaserade läkemedlet innehållande gurkmeja. Gurkmeja har visat sig ha låg biotillgänglighet, men höga koncentrationer uppnås lokalt i tarmen vilket skulle kunna göra mag-tarmbesvär till en bra indikation för användandet av gurkmeja. Den här litteraturstudien syftar till att ta reda på om gurkmeja kan ha Potential att användas på hundar med gastrointestinala besvär. Sjukdomar såsom gastrit, magsår, enterit, kolit, Inflammatory bowel syndrome (IBS) och Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) kan ses hos hund.

Det här arbetet sammanfattar resultatet av ett examensarbete med syfte att utvärdera produktionsplaneringssystemet som används på vissa av linerna vid Scania CV AB:s motorbearbetningsavdelning, även kallat DM, i Södertälje, och att bedöma systemets Potential. DM består av ett gjuteri och flera bearbetningsverkstäder. Den största kunden är Scanias motormontering i Södertälje, dit leveranser sker flera gånger dagligen.DM lider generellt av långa ledtider genom produktionen, långa omställningstider och framförallt en väldig stor variation i produktmixen. För att kunna hantera detta bättre infördes under 2008 ett nytt planeringssystem på kamaxelline, och senare även på vevaxelline, vevstakeline och cylinderfoderline. Systemet bygger på cyklisk planering, där kundernas behov jämnas ut under en arbetsvecka och visualiseras i början av varje line.

The study explored how a model for conversation partner trainingworked for family members of people with Parkinson's disease. Participants inthe study were three dyads consisting of persons with PD and their carers. Thepurpose of the study consisted in finding out whether the participantsexperienced a change in communication after the intervention, and in findingout if this Potential change could be observed in the conversation. The resultsshowed that 4/6 participants experienced an improvement in communicationafter the intervention. This improvement was however not observed in theconversation.

Med detta växer miljöfordonsflottan och tekniska lösningar för att reducera miljöbelastningen har utvecklats, där inte endast motorernas energieffektivitet högaktas. Tekniska lösningar med exempelvis energiregenererande bromsar där bromsenergi tillvaratas, vilken annars endast bildar värme, finns redan. Forskning om energiregenererande tekniska lösningar anses därför avgörande vid ett högt uppsatt energimål för miljöfordon.

Wastewater handling of private sewage systems has become an all increasing matter. In Stockholm region the 90 000 private sewage systems contribute with larger phosphorus flows to the Baltic Sea than the two biggest sewage plants in the area, Henriksdal and Käppala, contribute together, even though these two plants purify wastewater from more than one million inhabitants. When summer house areas turn into areas for permanent living ? transition areas ? the load on the existing systems increases, systems that already often are unsatisfying. In those areas it is not clear what the best system choice is; On-site systems for single households; Local collective systems or Connection to central systems.

Målet med examensarbetet var att ett trådlöst mätdatainsamlingssystem ska tas fram för att ersätta det trådburna insamlingssystem som idag används vid FOI i Bromma, vid mätning på vindtunnelmodeller. Projektet innefattar konstruktion, inköp, dokumentation, test och utvärdering. En del i projektet är att utvärdera ett nytt CAD system för kretskortskonstruktion.Enligt framtagen kravspecifikation konstrueras ett signalkonditionerande kort som förstärker, balanserar och filtrerar insamlad signal samt ett processorkort som digitaliserar och skickar konditionerad signal trådlöst till mottagande del.Prototypen som projektet resulterar i, uppfyller de krav och specifikationer som FOI hade på det nya systemet, dvs. analog signalkonditionering, digitalisering och tvåvägskommunikation. Systemet har med sin enkla funktion påvisat att lösningen är realiserbar och att den fungerar.

In the middle of Australia there is a city called Alice Springs. The city has one of the highest amounts of daily sunshine hours and sun irradiation in the world. The Australian Government runs a project called Solar Cities, and Alice Springs is one of the participators. The main part of the goal with the Solar Cities project is to increase the amount of electricity generated by solar power and by doing that lower the impact on the environment. This thesis examines the possibilities for construction of a large scale solar power plant in Alice Springs. This is done to determine the Potential of creating a more sustainable energy system in the city.
