I Sveriges storstadsregioner har behovet av mer strategiskt utformade planer växt fram under senare år. I korthet beror detta på kommunens begränsande möjligheter att påverka bebyggelseutvecklingen. Samtidigt har kommunerna fortfarande ett ansvar för att bebyggelseutvecklingen leds mot en social, ekonomisk och ekologisk hållbarhet. Behovet av att koncentrera de kommunala insatserna har då ökat. Kommunens roll blir att tillhandahålla hållbara rumsliga ramar där förändringar på kvartersnivå sker i privat regi.

The trend towards increasingly large farming units raises questions regarding how to better monitor production. Larger units make the impact from possible errors more severe, which increases the pressure on management supervision. To cope with management issues, prevent errors and handle increased demands on traceability and documentation, the Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) concept is making its way into various parts of agriculture. In sectors outside agriculture, RTLS are already being used successfully to track and locate items through nodes at different levels of accuracy, such as room level or the relative or absolute position. Empirical data can be received in real time from the nodes.

Agricultural soils constitute the base in human food production and soil content of organic matter and plant nutrients together with soil microbial activity are all important parameters for high crop yield of good quality. These parameters are dependant on proper fertilization.Anaerobic digestion of organic wastes for biogas production generates a liquid residue called biogas residue (BR). The aim of this essay is to study how the University Church is represented in student newspapers. By conducting an inductive thematic analysis on sixteen articles chosen from newspapers distributed by the student union at three Swedish universities, the main purpose of the study is to further understand the role and function of the University Church in a contemporary Swedish context. Three themes emerging from the initial step of the thematic analysis were chosen for further analysis: (1) a secularized church?, (2) provocation and (3) reasons to seek out the University Church. The themes were then highlighted by two theoretical perspectives: Mark Chaves? theory of internal secularization and a theoretical framework developed by Anders Bäckström with the aim to explain the role of the church as a welfare agent in Sweden.The study shows that the University Church is portrayed as both an ambiguous and complex organization.

Allt större krav ställs idag på den offentliga sektorn. Det har också skapat höga krav på effektivitet och rationalisering inom offentlig verksamhet, exempelvis kommunal service. Faktum är att det idag nästan ställs samma krav på kommunal verksamhet som på ett vinstmaximerande företag. Visst finns det skillnader mellan företag och kommunala förvaltningar i till exempel uppdrag, men kronorna bör hållas i lika hårt i båda fallen. Dessa högre krav leder också till att kommunal organisation, ledning och styrning måste vidareutvecklas och fungera så effektivt som möjligt.

Detta examensarbete skrevs på uppdrag av Södra skogsägarna. Syftet med arbetet var att fördjupa kunskapen om marknaden för pannved i Nederländerna. Arbetet beskriver bland annat kunder till vedföretagen, priser för ved, var veden kommer ifrån samt hur vedföretagen ser på framtiden inom vedmarknaden. Förutom detta ger arbetet även en bild av Nederländerna, dess energiförsörjning, den förnyelsebara energin och skogsråvaran i landet. Teorierna som ligger till grund för arbetet är framförallt marknadsundersökning, omvärldsanalys och beskrivning av erbjudandet.

This essay examines the narrative aspect of interactive fiction. The study uses Janet H. Murrays analysis of the digital environment and the properties of it as procedural, participatory, spatial and encyclopedic. From this, her three characteristic pleasures in digital narratives - immersion, agency and transformation - are examined from the perspective of interactive fiction. The study also examines Nick Montforts analysis of interactive fiction as a Potential narrative and a simulated world or environment.

Holmen Skog, region Norrköping, is located in an area with good Potential for backhauling because a large number of geographically scattered mills. This study is about what teachers in primary schools say that they are doing to create a school for all.The purpose of this study is to find out what teachers in primary schools say that they do on their mission to create a school for everyone and how they organize teaching to achieve this. The study was conducted as an interview of five teachers from elementary school of different gender and with a qualitative method because it provides a great opportunity to problematize, interpret and understand the responses of the interviewees.The results show that all the teachers think that their mission is to teach so that they can give each student what they need to achieve the goals. This may not be every day but over time, they hope that all students feel that they get so much of the teacher's time that they need..

Detta examensarbete syftar till att observera och diskutera bruket av en pedagogisk praxis som berör populär- och ungdomskultur inom bildämnet. Problemställningen täcker aspekter som den populärkulturella integrationen i dagens bildundervisning, ungdoms-kulturens fördelar och nackdelar i undervisningssammanhang, samt hur bildpedagoger kan närma sig en engagemangspedagogik som på lämpligt sätt drar fördel av populär- och ungdomskultur. Undersökningen som utfördes är en kvalitativ-kvantitativ intervju/enkät som fokuserar på tjugo stycken kommunalt yrkesverksamma lärare. Frågorna berörde punkter som deras föreställningar och resonemang kring den egna praktiken och dess tematiska innehåll och arbetsmetoder, samt vilka professionella värderingar de lägger till begrepp som tradition, ungdomskultur och senmodernitet i koppling till bildundervisning. Studien samlade också in data på lärararnas observationer gällande önskemål och viljor hos elever kring ett populärkulturellt ämnesinnehåll.
