SammanfattningVårt intresse att studera hemelektronikbranschen i Sverige grundar sig i viljan att se hurföretag agerar strategiskt när det råder nästintill perfekt konkurrens på en marknad.Utgångspunkten i problematiseringen var att ta reda på hurdan syn företagen, som uppsatsenberör, har på den marknad de befinner sig. Utifrån den beskrivningen har vi sedan sett till hurföretagen önskar positionera sig för att sedan följa upp deras uttalanden och se om dessastämmer överens med verkligheten.För att studera detta har vi valt att utföra en kvalitativ fallstudie. Intervjuer har gjorts mednyckelpersoner på två större företag inom branschen. Detta för att få en så djuplodande bildav branschen som möjligt.Genom att arbeta utefter Michael E Porters teorier kring strategi och hur företag skaparvaraktiga konkurrensfördelar har vi byggt upp ett ramverk, med en förenklad värdekedja ispetsen, som förtydligar företagens ageranden inom hemelektronikbranschen. Värdekedjananvänds för att se om de undersökta företagen verkligen positionerar sig som de säger.Båda företagen i studien har visat sig ha stora brister i sitt sätt att leva upp till sina uttaladestrategier.

Erosion in coastal areas is a common problem all around the world. The range of the problem depends on several factors, i.e. type of bed-rock and soil, wind and wave climate. Another factor is whether the area is of high interest, i.e. if the area is important for tourism and recreation, if there are houses and other buildings close to the shoreline or if it is a site of special scientific interest.

The company Somas, Säffle, has assigned Fredrik Kjellin the project of finding out how ?KVTF DN250?, one of their own valves, reacts on cutting forces under production. They wish to know if and then how much it?s possible to minimize the wall thickness of the valve with neither plastic nor to big elastic deformations caused by processing.The most critical processes have been identified as rough lathing. The study has shown that the marginal for a wall thickness of two millimeters, to fall short of the yield stress in the most critical process, is good.

Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka följderna av konkurrensutsättningen på apoteksmarknaden ur ett logistiskt flödesperspektiv.Metod: Abduktiv ansats och en kvalitativ datainsamlingsmetod i form av semistrukturerade och ostrukturerade intervjuer.Teori: Logistiska målmixen, Du Pont-schemat, 80?20-regeln, byta lager mot information, logistik som konkurrensmedel Marknadsteorier, konsumenttrygghet, drivkrafter för innovation, Porters fem krafterResultat: De största volymerna av receptbelagda läkemedel går, likt under monopol-tiden, fortfarande via de största distributörerna Tamro och Oriola. Apoteks-aktörerna tycks överlag vilja gå mot lägre kapitalbindning, med något högre logistikkostnader och servicegrad. Främst vill aktörerna styra varuförsörj-ningen i egen regi för att anpassa den till de egna affärsmodellerna. Service-graden tycks inte ha försämrats sedan omregleringen.

This Master Thesis has its basis in a political decision made by Centerpartiet. The primary goal of the decision was to construct a new government agency, with the power to decide over all areas concerning social insurance. To be able to do this safely, by a merge of two different agencies, the thesis looks at different earlier merges for signs. First of all two agencies, Swedish Tax-agency and Swedish Prison and Probation Service, are studied because they are considered succeful in their earlier merges. Two main signs are that it took a long while and that the organisations worked with similar things before the merge.

The aim of this essay is to study the development of democracy in the Halland province, with focus on participating measures. First and foremost to test earlier research about the causes of the development of democracy, which says that the work takes place with obvious variation between the municipalities and that it is caused by economic resources and experienced problems in the democracy. The purpose is also to conduct a general discussion about the conditions and effects of the development.Thus the method can be characterised as theory consuming because I as far as possible assume the method that has been used in earlier research. Still, my study is limited to the six municipalities of the Halland province and is therefore a study of few cases. One person in each municipality has been interviewed in order to collect a list of all the measures that have been carried out.

The major part of the existing research on psychological effects on participating in war or residing in a war zone shows negative effects on the person?s mental health. However not all research, from an international perspective, shows the same results. Since we haven?t found any research regarding Swedish conditions and there has been a recent implementation of a decision from the Supreme Commander regarding commanded international service for all staff within the Swedish armed forces, the question has now become more relevant.

This degree project has been carried out in cooperation with Gedevelop in Helsingborg.Gedevelop has developed a camera that can calculate the weight of a liquid glass mass.Because of the density and viscosity changes in the glass, the weight information issometimes incorrect given. Glass industry is today addressing the problem by an operatorperforming a manual weighing of a few bottles which, in turn, calibrates the camera system.The project aimed to develop an automated system to control the weighing of glass bottles forglass industries. This system must be so flexible that it can be easily mounted on plants withdifferent production equipment around the world.The project includes design and construction of equipment that meets the requirementsformulated together with Gedevelop. Work has been done both in Halmstad and Helsingborgand has included both calculations and review of the theory to understand the forces thatinfluence the design of different construction parts. A prototype was produced that meets theoperating requirements for the design and can be used in testing features.

With the starting point in UN peacekeeping operations, this essay investigates the participation of the Swedish armed forces and how the Swedish soldiers perceive their role in those operations. The aim of the study was to explore different perceptions about the Swedish soldiers in international operations. Partly from the Swedish soldiers perspective and how they perceived their own role as soldiers. Partly from the perspective of civilians, like Swedish aid workers, and how they perceive the Swedish soldiers. The third perspective was from a person with mixed experiences from both the military and the civilian work.

Sweden is a member of the European Union (EU) since 1995. The association results in considerable proportions of the European law, also called EC-law, for Sweden. The legal system has precedence above Swedish law, which forces our national court to take consideration into and interpret the law in the light of EC-law.Sweden doesn?t possess a general legislation of discrimination. An appointed committee investigates the matter and the requirement of a common law, including all discrimination prohibits.

The Smart Grids development is driven by forces concerning safe electrictransmission done in an energy efficient way. Vattenfall Eldistribution AB has a visionto transform their electricity network into Smart Grids. To invest in Smart Grids theyhave a need to show their customers what advantages they will get from thedevelopment. This led to the formulation of this dissertation project where the aim isto identify products and services related to Smart Grids that will increase thecustomer satisfaction for Vattenfall Eldistributions private customers.The project started with a mapping of existing products and services on the Swedishelectricity market. From the mapping several development possibilities for VattenfallEldistribution were identified.

One aim of this thesis has been to trace the driving forces among active members of the Swedish Pensioners? Interest Party (SPI), but also to render how party values and ideas are connected to the concepts of is-sue space, distrust, and New Party Politics (mainly populism). Since there are several pensioners? parties in other countries, my second aim has been to investigate whether the party is a result of a diffusion proc-ess of copying a successful equivalent party; in other words to find out whether a master frame has inspired the forming of a Swedish pension-ers? party. Through interviews and document analysis, I have found seven issue dimensions explaining the motives behind my respondents? engagement in the party.

Bakgrund: Bakgrunden tar upp att konsumenternas konsumtionsbeteende har förändrats och att det har blivit ett starkare tryck från omgivningen att företagen måste ta sitt samhällsansvar. Sett till den ökade konkurrens inom livsmedelsbranschen kan samhällsansvar vara ett sätt för livsmedelskedjorna att skapa ett mervärde åt sina kunder. Dock måste företagen besluta sig för hur de ska arbeta med detta för att det ska vara strategisk relevant.Problemformulering: Vilken betydelse har samhällsansvaret för livsmedelsbranschens långsiktiga överlevnad?Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera och utvärdera hur vida livsmedelskedjornas samhällsansvar stämmer överens med deras kunders uppfattning. Uppsatsen har även som syfte att se om det finns några skillnader mellan företag som positionerar sig med lågpriskoncept i sin affärsidé i förhållande till företag som inte gör det.Metod: Uppsatsen har använts dig av både en kvalitativ samt en kvantitativ ansats till undersökningen.

In today?s horse keeping, there is an increasing awareness of the importance of movement and activity for the horses comfort and tenability, while tradition has it that horses should be kept in boxes and small paddocks. In order to develop housing systems that fulfils and optimizes the horses needs regarding movement and activity, we need to know more about factors that influence the activity patterns of horses. A first step is to be able to record and analyze the gaits in horses with an automated system. This could be done by use of accelerometer data.In this pilot study, existing accelerometer technique was used to characterize the different gaits in horses (walk, trot and canter) by studying how their respective signal patterns differ and how this is influenced by the size of the horse.The accelerometers being used in this study measures the movement in three different spaces; horizontal, lateral and vertical.

Fossila bränslen är ändliga resurser och FMV menar i sin Tekniska Prognos 2013 att Försvarsmakten redan nu bör planera för en omställning till alternativa tekniker till dagens förbränningsmotor. Den teknik som verkar mest lämplig som interimslösning mellan framtidens vision om ren eldrift och förbränningsmotorn är elhybridteknik. Uppsatsen undersöker hur Försvarsmaktens logistikfunktion påverkas om bandvagnssystemet skulle övergå till seriehybridteknik. Uppsatsens ansats är kvalitativ med en kombination av textstudier, intervjuer samt ett frågeformulär som besvaras av totalt tre personer fördelat på Amf1, FMTS och I19 där samtliga innehar mångårig erfarenhet av bandvagnssystemet. Formulären kompletteras med intervjuer med dessa personer samt personer på BAE Systems som bidrar med teknisk expertis.
