Möjligheten att bestämma sin position med ett par meters noggrannhet varhelst på jordklotetman befinner sig har med tillgången till GPS blivit möjligt för alla som investerar i en GPSmottagare,således även Försvarsmakten. GPS har dock begränsningar som gör att tillgångentill tjänsten kan blockeras med enkla medel av såväl systemets ägare som andra. I Försvarsmaktenfinns det anvisningar inför anskaffandet av satellitpositioneringssystem som gör gällandeatt detta endast skall utgöra ett komplement till andra redundanta metoder. För militäraändamål har GPS ofta integrerats tillsammans med tröghetsnavigering där de båda metodernakompletterar varandra. Utan tillgång till GPS kommer positionsfelet i ett sådant system efteren kortare tid växa sig stort.

The study sheds light on how individuals from different countries experience the labour action Komjobb. The study aim to examine in which consideration experiences of the action Komjobb differs among the participants. The study is based on eight qualitative interviews and analyzed by using the method of phenomenography. We have based this research on a theory about Social constructivism. Other theories that we have used are Bauman's theory about the changing value of work in the modern and postmodern society and Andersson's theory of unemployment as a social category.

This study has been conducted in order to try to clarify how one as a piano teacher, by the choice of teaching material and method of teaching, can influence the process of learning. The study deals with novice teaching and more specifically first semester teaching. I have studied three books, their methods and how they take on the task of introducing music and piano playing to novice students. I studied three groups of novice piano students during the autumn of 2005. For twelve lessons each class worked with one of the following three books: "Vi spelar piano 1" by Carl-Bertil Agnestig, "Pianogehör 1" by Åsa Söderqvist- Spering and "Spela piano med ADAM".

När en helikopter befinner sig i brownout saknar besättningen referenser till omvärlden vilket kan försämra det spatiala medvetandet. Om besättningen inte har koll på helikopterns position i luftrummet kan det leda till skador på både materiel och besättning i samband med landning. Denna rapport undersökte, på ett övergripande plan, vilka möjligheter sensorer inom det elektromagnetiska spektret hade att bidra med information till det spatiala medvetandet. Rapporten fann att sensorerna behöver vara anpassningsbara till följd av stoftmolnets vida varierande karaktäristik. Sensorerna hade möjlighet att generera en bild av landningsplatsen före brownout inträffar.

Our thesis focus on how retirees perceive Tv4s news casts of economy news where we focused on five different aspects: What is the relationship between the news cast and the viewer and how does the viewer express their understanding of the news cast and the way it is constructed? What are the viewers attitude towards the news content and how do they find the news cast useful for them personally?We choosed retirees as our target group due to their vulnerable economic position in today?s society and TV as an important medium for them due to the digital divide. The study was performed with twelve qualitative interviews and one group interview where six retirees took part.We discovered a big interest for economic news in the target group. The majority had a sympathetic view of the news cast they saw but they also expressed skepticism toward the economy segment and/or news castings. The majority expressed a lack of trust for the journalists and the experts brought in to share observations and make announcements, and the financial business overall.

När ett mobilspel använder sig av GPS-koordinater för att positionera användaren kan det uppstå problem vid eventuella GPS-bortfall. En del spel hanterar det genom att frysa spelet till dess att GPS-kontakten kommer tillbaka. I detta arbete har möjligheten att istället positionera användaren med telefonens inbyggda sensorer undersökts. Detta då tanken är att en offline-positionering skall kunna ta över vid GPS-skuggor för att skapa jämnare gameplay för användaren. För att avgöra hur väl offline-positioneringen fungerade i jämförelse med GPS-positioneringen har en rutt tagits.

Detta spelmonopol börjar nu öppnas upp successivt och med de nya aktörerna på marknaden ville vi se vad det var som lockade spelkonsumenterna att spela hos just dem och vilka faktorer som var mest betydande i deras val av spelbolag. Nu när det finns ett flertal alternativ att tillgå samt nya aspekter att ta hänsyn till när konsumenten av speltjänster skall göra sitt val av spelbolag.Vi utförde en kvantitativ undersökning med enkäter som delades ut i Örnsköldsvik hos två olika spelombud. Detta för att nå konsumenter som hade den erfarenhet av spel som vi ansåg vara tillräcklig för att ge ett fullgott underlag för vår undersökning.

During the last two years Gothenburg has become a central point in Sweden foractivists in the area of disability. The essay explores which strategies that activist usesin purpose to pay attention to and criticize the Normate. By doing so, five cripactivists have been interviewed about their experiences and feelings about how theymanage to stand up against different types of power relations. The activists describehow they develop different strategies to change their identity positions and takecontrol over themselves.The essay intends to contribute with a crip theoretic view in combination withmaterial feminisms and resistance theory. The conclusions of the essay shows that thenormate is incorporated in both social and material matter and how the activist?s usesthe strategy Critical Disability to negotiate their identity position.

Ideonföretaget Erysave är tvunget att gå till en global marknadsplats omedelbart efter produktens färdigställande för att skapa lönsamhet för sin produkt. Ett engagemang i en Strategisk Allians kan leda till en snabb etablering på marknaden. Den stora strategiska frågan för företaget är när detta skall ske samt hur samarbetet skall utformas. Erysave måste inleda ett samarbete med en partner som kan tillhandahålla de resurser som företaget saknar internt med målet att stärka sin strategiska position på marknaden. För att samarbetet mellan Erysave och den framtida partnern skall bli fruktbart är det vår bedömning att den öppna relationen mellan Erysave och partnerföretaget måste bibehållas.

Many children in Sweden are exposed to maltreatment. Among the purposes of the Child health care (CHC) are to decrease mortality, infirmity and handicaps among mothers and their children, and to decrease hurtful strains for parents and their children. CHC-nurses get critizism for not reporting child maltreatment in high enough numbers to the Social service. The aim of this study was to chart how CHC-nurses finds their work with families suffering from maltreatment. Ten CHC-nurses were interviewed with semistructured interviews.

Boulognerskogen is a park in the central of Skövde that have had a health resort, paths for strolling, outdoor-bath, outdoor-sport areas and events. During the 1970:th there was a lack of interest for the park and very few visited it. By a motion from a resident in Skövde wich proposes that a city playground will be build in Boulognerskogen gave me an opportunity to investigate how the potential of the park can be used to create a funny and nice place to visit for children in company with adults. By a program that contains the main goals and design program for a city playground in Boulognerskogen, I wanted to present a proposal that could meet childrens needs to play and to use the conditions of the place to create places to play in, and where children in company with adults could be together. To reach this, I wanted to try different methods that could lead to a proposal that was well supported by children and adults, and wich was possible to use by the local authority in their further actions. The methods that I used was therefor an important part of the work. I have choosen to define the concept "city playground" as a greater playground situated in the center of the town that are suitable for outings and as a meetingplace, with a varation in playground attractions and promote children and adults to be together, aiming at younger children in the ages of 1-10 years in company with adults, but should also give space to activities of other groups.

Det faktum att managementkonsulter i princip säljer ett löfte om vadde ska leverera gör att förmågan att inge förtroende är en viktig egenskap hos en konsult.I denna studie undersöker vi hur den svenska managementkonsultbranschen ser ut ochvilken betydelse förmågan att skapa förtroende har. Genom en fallstudie på företagetReforce har vi kunnat analysera vilken position ett litet managementkonsultföretag, utanett känt och väletablerat varumärke, kan ha på marknaden samt vilka aspekter sompåverkar deras förmåga att inge förtroende.I kartläggningen av den svenska managementkonsultmarknaden framkommer att deföretag som agerar på marknaden idag kan delas in i tre huvudsakliga kategorier;amerikanska, semiamerikanska och svenska företag. Det har visat sig att de olikakategorierna skiljer sig åt bland annat i avseende på vilka primära tjänster de erbjuder ochpå vilket sätt de arbetar. Managementkonsultbranschen är kunskapsintensiv och någotsom därför har uppmärksammats i denna studie är att företagen inte endast konkurrerarom kunder utan också om bra personal.

Over the last decades, language in the public sector has changed due to influence from New public management. In this thesis, I seek to investigate librarians? attitudes towards a more businesslike way of speaking about libraries, referred to here as management-speak. For this purpose, I?ve used a modified version of the matched guise technique.

The thesis demonstrates protection solutions that can be suitable for a camp during internationalmissions in order to resist complex threats. The threats could consist of small arms, machineguns,RPG 7, anti armour missiles, mortar, artillery, HPM-weapons, car bombs, biological and chemicalweapons as well as sabotage and theft. It?s not the technology itself that makes the threat scenariocomplex it?s the way the opponent acts during the operations. The opponent acts usually incivilian clothes and therefore he is difficult to distinguish from other civilians.

AbstractTurkey has emerged as a major actor in the Middle East over the last decade, since the ruling party AKP came to power in 2002. Turkey is now playing a mediation role in regional conflicts and has been speaking out loudly on sensitive issues such as the Iranian nuclear program and the Palestinian- Israeli conflict. Furthermore, Turkey has established close ties with the Arab world which has suffered the relationship with its long-time ally Israel. This new presence in Middle East has been criticized by Turkey's allies in west. Critics argue that the country is about to abandon its former western relationship and strengthen their ties with the Arab world instead.This thesis has two main purposes.
