Idag står det urbana offentliga rummet och dess funktion som mötesplats inför förändringar där konkurrens från externa handelsområden, köpcentrum och förändrade handelsmönster i allmänhet kan innebära att det offentliga rummet i stadens centrum får svårt att behålla sin attraktivitet och dragningskraft. Det offentliga rummet i centrum riskerar därmed förlora sin historiskt starka betydelse och funktion som mötesplats. Denna utveckling i kombination med att stadens mötesplatser, till följd av nya handelsmönster och en allt mer utbredd konsumtionsinriktning av stadsmiljön, innebär ofta en fragmentering och privatisering av det offentliga rummet i staden. Detta påverkar människans frihet att delta i det sociala livet i staden negativt. Då människors möjlighet till möten har en stor betydelse för det sociala kapitalet och konstateras vara grundläggande för demokrati och hälsa i samhället riskerar detta innebära negativa konsekvenser för en social hållbarhet i staden. Syftet är därmed att studera hur det traditionella urbana offentliga rummet som mötesplats kan komma att påverkas av handelsverksamheters omlokalisering i staden. Syftet är vidare att undersöka hur det traditionella urbana offentliga rummet i mellanstora till stora kommuner kan stärkas och bli mer resilient som mötesplats oavsett handelsverksamhetens närvaro, för att främja en social hållbarhet.

What they are influenced and directed by and also how these commercial establishments in the town borders effects the commerce and the life in the town center. The thesis work wants to create a method that treats villages in an analytic way in a context; with green, blur, grey and all the other colors that together are the completeness.This master's thesis is made to be used as foundation in detail plannng in the municipality of Örkelljunga. Target audience is on one hand those who work with planning and green matters in Örkelljunga municipality, but also other planners who work with landscape.Literature in the field of green city planning has been studied and 30 methods for analysis have been valued. The method for analysis that has been used in this work is a merging of ten different methods and has included literature studies, sketches, interviews and work on spot. The ten methods are consciously chosen to together make one comprehensive and true image of the village, as far as it is possible.

AbstractThis report has been developed in cooperation with Peab Region Bostad Göteborg, mentor at Krook& Tjäder (through Chalmers), and examiner at Chalmers University of Technology. The report is the result of a research of a building project, constructed by Peab. The report is investigating and it means to identify and evaluate qualities in the dwelling and its surroundings. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.

Ett branschanpassat affärssystem är avsett för organisationer verksamma inom samma bransch. Syftet med denna typ av affärssystem är att ge högre passform än standardiserade affärssystem och vara billigare än skräddarsydda affärssystem. Det råder dock brist på kunskap om hur dessa ska utvecklas. Genom vår litteraturstudie presenteras en kravinsamlingsmodell med utgångspunkt i Requirements Engineering som ska ge stöd för utvecklare vid insamling av krav för branschanpassade affärssystem. Utöver det identifierades ett flertal aktiviteter relaterade till modellen.

Everyone has to take a greater responsibility in energy issues, both individuals and companies. There have been some major developments in the construction industry but there is still a lot to be done. This diploma work thesis presents different methods of making existing construction shed establishments to use less energy. What is possible to do and how much energy is there to be saved? A shed establishment consisting of 8 shed units were studied in this project and the building simulation tool VIP-Energy was used to simulate different types of material in the sheds. An infrared camera was used to locate thermal bridges. There are several factors that can be improved to make a construction shed establishment to use less energy.

Every year, Swedish municipalities transfer considerable amounts of profit from public housing companies to the owner municipality. Municipalities are allowed to do this, provided that the money is used to pay for certain purposes. But there are no legal repercussions if they do not comply. Not all municipalities choose to transfer profits. Based on partisan theory, this difference could be explained by the political governance of the municipality.

The municipality of Enköping is presently working out a new layout plan for the town of Enköping and new residences are planned in the harbour area. Because of these plans, the municipal energy company ENA Energi may have to move its location from the harbour to another part of the city.The aim of this degree project is to investigate the possibility of building a new CHP plant in another area of Enköping. The future demand on district heating and infrastructure at the new location have been projected. A new CHP plant has been dimensioned and economic analyses concerning the project have been made.Results show that the future demand of district heating in Enköping will differ a little from the present needs. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how teachers view the way they build their relationships towards students, both in general and, more specifically, towards those students with some type of attention deficits. The focus of this thesis has been on how great an importance teachers place on this relationship. Especially when it comes to working with students with attention deficits. We also want to know to which extent this relational perspective is rooted in teachers' practice. The theoretical basis of this study is the relational perspective formulated by Aspelin and Persson (2011).

With rising energy prices and the threat of climate change, energy costs and energy savings havebecome a central and important part in building. Therefore it is interesting to explore different andnon-conventional methods of energy conservation. Building Earth sheltered houses is such a method.Earth provides good insulation and provides the ability to both reduce the total heating needs and toreduce the maximum power demand. The aim of this study was to construct a house in Malmö and seeif Earth sheltered houses can be a cost effective alternative for the construction of sustainable andenergy-efficient houses.Previous studies have shown that Earth sheltered houses have reduced their power requirement with upto 25% and their use of energy with 10%. Numerical calculations in Comsol Multiphysic 4.2, wasperformed on a house with different degrees of earth covering.

Stora Tuna är ett stadsnära landskap i Borlänges utkant. Området har som många andra liknande områden en utvecklad grönstruktur, en rik kulturhistoria och än så länge en begränsad utbyggnad av bostäder, verksamheter och industrier. Med tiden har intressen kommit fram för att bebygga vissa delar och området står idag inför ett avgörande hur det ska utvecklas. Utgångspunkten för examensarbetet har varit att utreda vilken typ av landskap som är önskvärt runt våra expanderande städer och tätorter, genom exemplet Stora Tuna. Stora Tuna är ett område som ligger strax fem kilometer söder om Borlänge centrum och som från olika intressenter kan vara aktuellt för bland annat ny bebyggelse. Problemet som framkommit är att området saknar en aktuell plan och strategi som talar om i vilken riktning området ska utvecklas.

Uppsatsen är uppdelad i fyra avsnitt innehållande bakgrund, planförutsättningar, analys och planförslag. Målet är att planera för en utbyggnation av Åkarp genom ett traditionellt mönster av befintliga byggnader och vägar samt att utnyttja den kommunala marken i Åkarp för att bygga ett bostadsområde. Planförslaget har kallats Åkersvy för att det byggs på en åker samt att omgivningen har en vacker vy åt det skånska landskapet. Åkersvy kommer att byggas ut som en naturlig fortsättning av Åkarp. I planförslaget används Åkarps traditionella väg- och byggnadsmönster sedan trettio år som en utgångspunkt. Förslaget kommer att baseras på en genomgående huvudgata med matargator på båda sidor där trafikförsörjning sker till de olika områdena.

Abstract Considering the social dimension of sustainable development this thesis focuses on the qualities of life and how the environmental qualities that the inhabitants value can be incorporated in the physical planning of the municipality. The thesis deals with the problems that occur when the physical planning, whit its focus on the environmental aspects, also needs to consider peoples opinions, that springs from the individual experience of the place. The municipality of Mark, where this thesis takes its place, is characterised by the countryside landscape. Mark is situated in the western part of Sweden close to Göteborg, Borås and Varberg. The commuting is extensive and the demand for dwellings in the municipality is increasing. Those who strive to live in the municipality have a conception of what life on the countryside means and of which environmental qualities they want to assimilate.
