This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

I detta examensarbete har vi undersökt några av byggstenarna i ett skivbolags verksamhet som också utgör grunden för deras inkomster. Resultatet av arbetet blev en påbörjad produktion och marknadsföring av en skiva och en plan för lanseringen av densamma. Genom detta har vi skapat oss en praktisk erfarenhet av arbetslivet i musikbranschen. Arbetet har dessutom genomförts med en för ändamålet låg budget. Vi har även undersökt olika marknadsföringsmöjligheter och intervjuat två yrkesverksamma personer i detta ämne. .

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer i uppväxten som kan ha betydelse för utvecklandet av ett missbruk. Fokus har varit att belysa vilka riskfaktorer i uppväxten som kan påverka utvecklandet av ett missbruk, samt vilka skyddsfaktorer som är viktiga för att ett barn ska utvecklas gynnsamt. Studien baseras på en kvalitativ metod där fyra semistrukturerade intervjuer har utförts och grundar sig på fyra respondenter med erfarenhet av ett eget alkohol- och drogmissbruk, och deras berättelser om sin uppväxt. Studiens avsikt har varit att utifrån inlärningsteoretiska utgångspunkter förstå uppväxtens betydelse för utvecklandet av ett missbruk. Faktorer som kan påverka individer har delats in i tre huvudgrupper: Biologiska, psykologiska och sociala faktorer.

The essay is about how immigrant pupils are integrated into the Swedish school and society. I have studied how teachers work with integrating these pupils and if there is a plan of act used in their work. The essay is also about how social relations can be used as a pedagogical resource by the teachers when the institutional framework and support is failing..

Purpose/aim: My purpose is to illustrate the significance of the language in communication with immigrants having a different native language, who suffers from dementia. The three main questions have been:How important is the native language in the communication with immigrant who suffers from dementia?What consequences can happen for the immigrant who does not understand Swedish? How can we use the salutogenesis point of view to create satisfactory care for immigrants who has difficulties to make them self understood in the Swedish language? Material/method: I made qualitative interviews with staff working in nursing homes with dementia care. I also searched scientific articles and other findings in this area of science. Main results: The best care for immigrants with dementia is nursing homes where the staff speaks the immigrant?s native language.

Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie som utgår från ett sociokulturellt perspektiv är att beskriva, analysera och förstå den verbala interaktionen mellan pedagoger och barn i förskolan, sett ur genusperspektiv. Vi vill även ställa denna interaktion i relation till förskolans styrdokument. I studiens bakgrund kommer begrepp och teorier som är centrala för denna studie att belysas.De metoder som använts för att få svar på studiens syfte och forskningsfrågor är observationer och intervjuer. Frågeställningarna lyder på följande sätt; I stödjande, tröstande och korrigerande situationer, vilka eventuella skillnader finns det i pedagogers verbala bemötande gentemot barnen, sett ur ett genusperspektiv? Hur beskriver verksamma pedagoger skillnaden i den verbala interaktionen i förskolan gentemot flickor och pojkar? På vilket sätt blir styrdokumentet tydligt i pedagogers verbala bemötande gentemot flickor och pojkar?Sammanfattningsvis pekar studiens resultat på att flickor och pojkar fick olika mycket verbal uppmärksamhet och kontakt från pedagogerna.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how investments are justified in the Swedish data center industry, with a focus on cooling equipment. This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.

Denna uppsats är ett examensarbete inom ämnet Biomekanik. Studenterna Ingrid Bertilsson och Viktor Larsson har utfört ett utvecklingsprojekt i samarbete med Hälsoteknikcentrum Halland (HCH). Projektet har med en användarcentrerad utvecklingsprocess arbetat fram en funktions prototyp av ett växlat rullstolshjul och en reglerande lösning. Funktionsprototypen har också möjliggjort tester. Denna prototyp är utvecklad för att avhjälpa de rullstolsburnas problem med lutande plan och svårmanövrerad terräng.

This paper aims to investigate whether a small organization with small development teams can find a value in leaving a functioning development process to follow a formal systems development methodology, if these organizations can find support in an agile systems development method and in such case the method needs to be adjusted according to the organizations unique conditions.A traditional plan-driven system development methodology includes a number of phases that are carried out sequentially and a completed phase can basically not be resumed. All requirements are specified at the beginning of a project and at the end of the project only one delivery of software take place. This can cause difficulties in for example dealing with changing requirements. Agile system development methods intend to deal with changing requirements and to enable continuous delivery of valuable, working software.In this paper, both the traditional plan-driven methods and agile methods will be explained. Research methodology and existing system development theories will be discussed and a company where the study has been conducted will be presented.

Syfte: Uppsatsens syfte är att söka en förståelse för hur budgetprocessen kan tänkas vara utformad hos några utvalda privata företag idag samt vilka syften som budgeten uppfyller hos dem. Vidare söks en förståelse för vilka för- respektive nackdelar som företagen upplever med budgeten.Metod: I uppsatsen har en kvalitativ undersökningsmetodik använts. Primärdata har samlats in via semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra utvalda företag, Sandvik MT, Boliden, Electrolux och Volvo. Även sekundärdata i form av böcker och vetenskapliga artiklar har legat till grund för undersökningen.Slutsats: Sandvik MT, Boliden och Electrolux tillämpar en årlig traditionell budget vilken de kompletterar med kvartalsvisa prognoser. Volvo å andra sidan tillämpar enbart ett prognosförfarande där prognoser tas fram månadsvis för fyra månader framåt.

The purpose of this essay is to analyze and show possibilities how a city can grow into the scenery of a oak dominated landscape and how this encounter can add values to the city. The city in focus is Linköping, a city that is approaching one of Sweden?s largest oak dominated cultural landscapes. To this landscape high ecological and cultural values are connected. The recreational values are also of importance especially because of its urban location also because the city is mainly surrounded by flat agricultural land.

Abstract: In this following thesis I enquire the teaching of reincarnation within the New Testament. More specifically I examine how the author Paramahansa Yogananda?s interprets the teaching of reincarnation and his analysis of the prologue to the Gospel according to John. The idea of reincarnation is not a teaching commonly associated with Christian teachings and it has never been advocated within Christian orthodoxy. However, the idea of reincarnation has recurringly been advocated by Christians.

Att genomföra en affärsidé i praktiken, det är i korthet vad denna uppsats avhandlar. Syftet är att undersöka processen med att starta upp ett mindre företag från grunden. Från vision till förverkligande. Det finns många aspekter att ta i beaktande innan man går från idé fas till verklighet. Kärnan i entreprenörskapet måste vara en produkt eller tjänst som konsumenten är villig att betala för.

The purpose of this study has been to analyze how managers within the elderly care who operate according to the Social Services Act work to support the assistant nurses with the social documentation. In order to achieve my purpose and to be able to answer the research questions, a qualitative approach was selected. My empirical material consists of seven interviews, four with assistant nurses and three with managers. Anthony Giddens? structuration theory in Månsson, (2003 s. 422) has been my theoretical starting-point and the concepts of practical and discursive consciousness have been used in the analysis.
