LKABs infrastrukturavdelning är en sekundärproduktion och en stödjande funktion till primärproduktionen vilket gör att avdelningen utför många olika aktiviteter och är svårstyrd. Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera den formella och informella styrningen och dess styreffekter på LKABs infrastrukturavdelning med utgångspunkt i Simons Levers of Control Vid formell styrning såsom Simons levers of control, styrs företaget genom dokumenterade värderingar, gränser, interaktivt arbete och uppföljning. Informell styrning kan vara företagets kultur, ledarstilar, regler och normer som inte är dokumenterade utan informella. Både formell och informell styrning påverka en individs beteende det är därför viktigt att de som skapar formella styrsystem tar hänsyn till de informella faktorerna och att den informella styrningen är i linje med den formella styrningen och att det finns en balans mellan dessa på företaget för att nå önskade styreffekter. I denna studie har en kvalitativ forskningsmetod tillämpats med influenser av aktörssynsättet.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur djur, med fokus på hundar, används som hjälpmedel i behandlingsarbete samt vilka effekter användningen av hundar anses ha. Vi fördjupade oss i de metoder som finns med djur som hjälpmedel samt studerade ett exempel på ett behandlingshem där hundar används i vård- och terapisyfte. Genom en litteraturstudie och en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning har vi fått svar på följande frågeställningar: Hur kan hundar användas som hjälpmedel i behandlingsarbete och vilka arbetsmetoder finns? Vilka fysiska och psykiska effekter kan användningen av hundar som ett hjälpmedel i vård- och terapisyfte ha? Vad gör en hund till en bra vård- och terapihund? Hur används hundar på en missbruksinstitution för äldre män? Resultatet pekar på att hundar kan användas i vård- och terapisyfte genom användning av de metoder som finns, det vill säga Animal-Assisted Activity, Animal-Assisted Therapy samt Animal-Assisted Therapy in Counseling. Vad som gör en hund till en bra vård- och terapihund är att den tränas på adekvat sätt, har ett bra temperament samt har en hundförare som ser till klientens och hundens bästa.

The purpose of this master thesis is to create, test and evaluate an analytical instrument for children?s library environment based on a theoretical framework consisting of Howard Gardner?s theory of multiple intelligences and Thomas Armstrong?s pedagogical application of the original seven intelligences. This report describes the design and implementation of a multi-master, packet based protocol for small and tiny microcontrollers where resources are limited. The protocol was named "Tiny Controller Network" or TCN for short. The protocol is meant mainly as a control bus for automation and sensor acquisition applications but due to its flexibility can also be used for other purposes as well. It borrows some of its functionality and design ideas from the well known CAN bus and Modbus but also has a number of major differences like the use of standard hardware and time synchronisation. One of the key aspects during the design was the use of very little system resources and common on-chip hardware peripherals like a UART.

This thesis for the Master of Science degree was performed at Oppunda Electronics AB. The assignment was to further develop an existing prototype of a dispensing equipment. The dispensing equipment doses a kind of glue, bonding which dentist use to mend teeth. The dispensing equipment is adjusted to dose 12 micro litres of bonding. Background: Ill-health related to unhealthy lifestyle is increasing and despite existing knowledge about healthy lifestyle it is difficult to change behaviour. Counselling in the primary health care is often superficial and without critical elements for behaviour change. Aim: The aim of this paper to elucidate interventions for change of lifestyle with respect diet and physical activity. Method: A literature review was carried out and ten scientific articles were analyzed and compiled in two main categories: design of these interventions and participation in them. Results: Education, decision making, goal setting, feedback, social support and follow-up were identified as critical elements for behaviour change.

Denna rapport handlar om införandet av ett gasspjäll i den HCCI motor som utvecklas påKungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) i Stockholm. Detta gasspjäll styr effekten ocharbetssättet i motorn. Med en gasspjäll är det möjligt att byta från gnistantändning tillHCCI-läge. Under projektet har många andra områden förbättrats, till exempel luft- ocholjepump. För att dra slutsatser är det nödvändigt att analysera några av motorns data sominsamlats under utvecklingen, såsom cylindertryck, insprutningsdata och tändläge.

Bronchiolitis is a common performance decreasing disease in horses (Bracher et al, 1991¸Dixon et al, 1995) Its medical treatment includes inhalation therapy with corticosteroids and b2-adrenoceptorer stimulators. Use of both these medicines is prohibited for sport horses and athletes. Because the facemasks used for inhalation therapy are not airtight, there is a risk for leakage of these medicines. We wanted to see if cross exposure of nearby horses can result during normal recommended treatment of a horse, and assess if this could result in doping positive urine sample from the person treating the horse and from horses in the same airspace. We did a pilot study with four healthy horses. The experiment was divided into four parts.

This quality study was carried out with seven semi-structured interviews and five of them were with elite women´s football coaches. What has been studied is how elite women?s football coaches are working with injury prevention training to their knees for the women?s football players. An anterior cruciate ligament injury in elite women?s football is both common and serious knee injury.

This essay aims to create an understanding of how leadership can be arranged in a company that embraces new technology and telework, and how it can be experienced from the employees' perspective. In order to make it possible to investigate this purpose are three questions formed; ?How is the leadership perceived??, ?How does telework into motivation?? and ?How does telework into communication??. A presentation of previous research is given, focusing mainly within different types of leadership, distance, and telework. Based on this, three interviews was made in which respondents? experience of telework was in focus.

In what way were children in the 1930s and 1940s mean to each other, in which ways did theytease and bully one another? And what were the adults part, how did they react to thechildrens spite towards each other and did they do anything to stop it?These are the questions which have been addressed in this essay. In the answers given to us,by a survey in which 42 persons born in the 1920s and 1930s were asked, we have learned,that during the 1930s and 1940s when these children went to school, bullying did'nt occure asmuch.
