Mobile technology is developing quickly and becomming a part of daily life and communication. Bluetooth Low Energy is presented as a new way of mobile interaction. However there are not enough studies in this field on the interaction between mobile devices and the physical world. In order to understand user needs, and to encourage users to interact, we simulated an interaction process through designing and testing a prototype in a specific indoor environment. Studien tar ansats i globaliserings- och socialiseringsbegrepp. Den fysiska disciplineringen är en del av socialiseringsprocessen i Ghana, vilket strider mot Barnkonventionen. I denna studie uppmärksammas de motsättningar som kan uppkomma när Barnkonventionen ska implementeras i ett utvecklingsland samt den omedvetenhet som finns kring barns rättigheter. In this Bachelor thesis I explore sound and room as elements in design of user interfaces, both theoretical and practical in a specific application domain, to identify some of the advantages and disadvantage associated with these elements. As application domain I studied email clients and their usage at home amongst students at Blekinge Institute of Technology. In the study I found an activity, which seems to be highly distributed in the physical room where the user is located. The activity was notification of email and could take place in an arbitrary location of the home. I then augmented this activity with ideas from my theoretical assumption about room and sound.

As the European Landscape Convention is brought into action, planning in Sweden has got to become increasingly considerate of the landscape and its character. To render this possible, a basic requirement is that we find a functional method for analysis. The Landscape is a synthesis of the interplay between place and man. It is made up of our physical environment and shows the result of our actions throughout history. Our surroundings affect us in many ways, financially as well as emotionally. This is why an analysis of the landscape has to be inclusive of many types of information. I have performed a landscape analysis, according to the British Landscape Character Assessment-method, in Svedala kommun.

Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) includes Crohn´s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UK). The diseases are chronic and have a pattern of relapses interspersed with relatively symptom-free periods. Common symptoms during relapse are diarrhea, abdominal pain and weight loss. Since you have IBD for life it is important to find ways to relate to and cope with the disease. In that process a nurse can be of great help.Aim: The purpose of this literature review was to increase the understanding of how adult patients with inflammatory bowel disease experience their daily lives.  Method: The method used was a literature review.

The purpose of this study is to explain if the existence of ethnic groups in Rwanda has complicated its democratization and explain what opportunities Rwanda has to be democratized. To fulfill the purpose of the study, I intend to answer two questions: 1) Does the existence of ethnic groups obstructed democratization in Rwanda? and 2) What opportunities has Rwanda to be democratized? To answer the first research question Dahl's theory of subcultures and democratization is used and to answer the second research question van de Walle's theory of democratization is used in the region of sub-Saharan Africa. Literature used in the study are Dahl's Polyarchy and van de Walle Africa?s range of regimes and Freedom House annual reports.

This paper deals with the question of when hill forts ? or enclosed mountains ? were built and to what purpose, by examining two enclosed mountains (RAÄ 78 and 79) in Grödinge parish in the province of Södermanland. A phosphate analysis was conducted to trace anthropogenic activities. The analysis showed only a slight elevation of phosphate content in the soil. A histogram indicated that the elevations were not normally distributed, which could suggest that they were caused by anthropogenic activities.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vad klientcentrerat arbetssätt innebär för teamet inom hemrehabilitering och möjligheterna att arbeta klientcentrerat. En arbetsledare och en undersköterska ifrån två hemreabteam intervjuades. Resultatet visade att de intervjuade upplevde att det finns goda förutsättningar för ett klientcentrerat arbete inom hemrehabilitering i den här kommunen i nuvarande form. De har resurserna som behövs för att nå vårdtagarnas individuella rehabiliteringsmål. De intervjuade upplever att de har stora möjligheter att arbeta klientcentrerat.

På grund av ett intresse för de olika metoder som använts för att kunna arbeta på ett effektivt sätt med barn och ungdomar, valde jag en specifik ungdomsverksamhet. Verksamheten är, på grund av sina avskiljande metoder, unik jämfört med andra ungdomsverksamheter. Stränga och klara regler samt direkta åtgärder är några av de avskiljande metoderna. Då syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka Rapatac?s syn på hälsofostran, och tillämpningen av demokratisk värdegrund i praktiken, gjordes studien i form av en kvalitativ undersökning inspirerad av narrativ teori.

 AbstractThis Master?s thesis analyses the dynamics of the medieval counterweight lever engine, ortrebuchet, a type of mechanical artillery. The purpose is to study the differences between different types of these machines, and see if computer simulations can be used to validate preserved advice on construction. Simulations include machines with a fixed counterweight, a hinged counterweight and a combination of both counterweights.Due to the almost complete lack of archaeological finds and insufficient historical source material there are still, after more than a century of research, many unanswered questions concerning the design and performance of these machines.The present study is based on an analysis by Jahsman (2004). A more detailed mathematical model employing Coulomb-friction is used.

Denna studie kommer att fokuseras kring aktörerna företag och konsument inom den interna företagsmiljön samt den fysiska och virtuella tjänstemiljön.Metod: Studien utgår från en etnografisk metod, där vi studerar och deltar i olika miljöer. För att erhålla datainsamling utfördes intervjuer, observationer samt dokumentanalys. Teoretisk referensram: Vi kritiserar traditionella brand management teorier kring företagets roll vid varumärkesskapande. Vi presenterar istället brand consumptions teorierna, eftersom dessa framhäver att varumärke skapas utav fler aktörer.
