Vi anser att läroböcker fyller en viktig funktion i utbildningssammanhang. Läroböcker och läromedel är redskap för elevers lärande. När redskapen är otillräckliga eller rent av frånvarande blir följden försämrad undervisning. Syftet med föreliggande examensarbete är att undersöka hur ett antal läroböcker i ämnet religionskunskap beskriver religion och livsåskådning. Vi vill genom vår undersökning dels ta reda på vilka principer som styr lärares läromedelsval och dels undersöka om det går att uppfylla religionskunskapsämnets kursmål med hjälp av innehållet i några strategiskt utvalda läroböcker. Svaren på våra frågeställningar har vi inhämtat genom tillämpning av metoder som komparativ dokumentanalys samt ostrukturerade intervjuer.

Syftet för uppsatsen var att undersöka förhållandet mellan religion och politik i det amerikanska samhället med fokus på hur kristendomen påverkar skolundervisningen. Fokus har lagts på områdena: sexualundervisning, homosexualitet, abort och skapelselära kontra utvecklingsteori. Metodologiskt har studien genomförts med analys av aktuell och relevant litteratur och av två religionssociologiska surveyer. I mitt resultat har jag hittat betydande skillnader i hur sexualundervisningen genomförs, de största skillnaderna var mellan sydstaterna i bibelbältet och de nordöstra delstaterna. Betoningen låg på sexuell avhållsamhet före äktenskapet.

Mainly focusing on the big picture regarding the research concerning the religious sphere in Bronze Age Scandinavia, the research field has been missing out on the smaller picture. The results have a tendency to produce a picture where the big landscape monuments, social structures and cosmology appear in the foreground. This essay is a comment to this phenomena and a methodological and terminological discussion regarding the way in which we as archaeologist?s works with questions about religion and rites. The main task though is to make an attempt in trying to identify the ritual performers and to answer the question whether it's possible or not to do that.

The aim of this report is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the problems within the production at AQ Enclosure systems, and thereby achieve a more stable flow throughout the whole process, a better working environment and better competition advantages. The internal flow along with the external cooperation is very important for the company, because it views flexibility and short leadtime as it is the most important competitive means. The part of AQ production that?s been investigated is the manufacturing of ATM-machines, where the costumer is Banqit. This company is a rater small company with about 4 % of the world market of ATM-machines.In order to achieve the aim of the report extensive interviews have been carried out with employees at AQ.

Studien syftade till att granska och analysera presentationen av islam och dess utövare i läromedelstexter ingående i svenska läroböcker avsedda för årskurserna 4-6 inom ämnet religion, från och med 1980 till och med 2015. Genomförandet inspirerades av kritisk diskursanalys och genomfördes med begreppen orientalism, islamofobi, diskurs och dikotomi som teoretiska utgångspunkter. Analysen visade tendenser till ?andrafiering? av islam och muslimer i samtliga analyserade lärobokstexter, bland annat genom att ?vi? (svenskar) konstrasteras mot ?dem? (muslimer). Det förekom även ett flertal delar i de analyserade texterna där dikotomier kopplade till bilden av islam utmanades.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to a better understanding of how visions could be applied in subsidiaries and similar sub organisations of global enterprises. With increasing globalisation it becomes more difficult to work in accordance to same standards and towards a common and unifying interest. The study has a qualitative and deductive approach and is based on interviews with three global subsidiaries with some hundred people employed each.Conclusions are that the subsidiaries visions have to be based on a guiding philosophy issued by their mother entities and it is the responsibility of the sub organisation to develop a tangible image with a local vision, mission and strategy with targets requiring feedback. Sustainable strategies cannot be issued without a vision describing where the organisation want be in the future. Otherwise they will not come very far until they have to make a restart with a new strategy and they will never be a market leader..

Unlike previous research, this thesis considers the possibility of regarding the morning prayers in Swedish schools as preaching, rather than teaching. 28 morning prayers, delivered in the church of S:t Johannes in the city of Malmö during 1939-1954 by the religious teacher Astri Heimer (1889-1986), constitutes the material for analysis. The purpose of this thesis is to examine if Heimer's morning prayers may be regarded as preaching, and to discuss the significance of this, in particular considering her role as leader of morning prayers.The examination is conducted in three steps. The first step investigates how morning prayers in general ought to be understood - as teaching or preaching? This is done by describing and comparing the literary genres of religious teaching and preaching, looking into the rules and principles which define the field of application.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka och synliggöra några olika sätt att se på musik som konst (eller icke-konst). Som metod har jag valt att göra kvalitativa intervjuer med fem personer som, på olika sätt och inom olika genrer, skapar musik eller ljudkonst. I intervjuerna har jag försökt ringa in de olika personernas syn på konstbegreppet, på musik i förhållande till detta begrepp samt på deras eget skapande. Resultaten visar på fem individuella synsätt och personliga definitioner av konst. Vilka intervjupersoner som delar varandras synsätt varierar mellan de olika frågeområdena och några generaliserbara slutsatser går inte att dra, vilket inte heller har varit målet med undersökningen.

Denna uppsats försöker besvara om det finns ett samband mellan religiösa normer kring kön och amerikanskt bistånd. Den önskar även lyfta fram den problematik detta kan innebära samt hur detta påverkar kvinnor i Afrika söder om Saharas möjlighet till en minskad risk för HIV samt ett liv bort från fattigdom.Det problem som uppsatsen önskar lyfta fram är att då religion får makt i samhället kan den påverka politik, vilket kan i få stora konsekvenser. Den söker även klarlägga hur denna politik, framförallt i förhållande till kvinnor, hindrar dessa från utveckling.Genom jämförande litteraturstudier med material från internationella organisationer såväl som från det amerikanska biståndsorganet, forskare och samhällsdebattörer försöker detta klargöras. Diskussionen leder slutligen till en slutsats att den kristna religionens normer kring kön och sexualitet spelar roll och påverkar det amerikanska biståndsarbetet med att bekämpa fattigdom och spridningen av HIV/AIDS i Afrika söder om Sahara. Den kristna tron får makt över dessa aspekter, vilket bidrar till att kvinnokroppen blir politisk, genom den makt som religion kan legitimera.

English abstractTitle: Islam and the limitations of the public will of choice.The purpose of this paper have been to investigate how three modern Islamic theorists view the limitations of the public free will of choice based upon their interpretation of the Islamic theology and doctrine.The paper focuses to highlight how all three chosen Islamic theorist interpret the Islamic doctrine based upon my elected theses and more specifically pinpoint were the free will of choice ends, and Islam as a religion starts to take hegemony. The paper?s aim is to further an understanding that in the modern world and as a effect of increased literacy, Islam has been somewhat inclined to split into several Islamisms, based upon the variety of fatwa?s on the Islamic doctrine that is available online. The aim for this essay is to investigate the importance of studying religion in an upper secondary school in Närke county, this is done by distribution of a questionnaire. The importance is studied both on the individual level and on the societal level. The result shows that although the students do not have a big interest in religious studies still the subject has an importance on both an individual and a society level..

This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. The aim with this study was to describe how the board members of athletic clubs view and value their youth program. A qualitative approach was used in form of interviews. The interviews were made face to face as well as being taped, this to facilitate the analysis. When the board members viewed their youth program to be in alignment with the overall club philosophy there was a discrepancy between their views and the ?de facto? conditions of the youth program.
