This master thesis summarizes contemporary theories on secularization processes in the Western world, and compares these with the example of Sweden, which by many scholars is considered to be the most secularized country in the Western world.I do this by dividing the most influential theorists in five different groups. In each group I explain how the theorists formulate and motivate their positions. These groups are:1) The secularization paradigm, where secularization always accompanies modernization. (Therorists: Steve Bruce and Peter Berger (in the 1960s)2) The paradigm basically accepted, but revised to depend on existential security, rather than modernisation as such. (Pippa Norris and Ronald Inglehart)3) Religion returned in the public sphere.

This essay is reading the Swedish author Stig Larssons debut Autisterna [The Autists] (1979) in the light of Gérard Genettes narratology and the time philosophy of Gilles Deleuze. The focus of the essay is time and how it is seemingly dissolved. The essay maps out a chronology of the non-chronological novel and from there discusses the breaking up of the empirical time. The essay uses Deleuze to explore the time-image of the novel to see how it is built up in the text for example by literary anyspace-whatevers. Hence the title, Anytime-whatever.

The aim of this essay is, firstly, to ? through a text analysis ? compare the curriculum of Waldorf education in Sweden (in the essay referred to as ?WL?) to the Swedish national curriculum ?Lpo 94?, to uncover possible differences and similarities between these documents, and, secondly, to present the roots and educational philosophies that these two curricula, respectively, are based upon. The purpose hereby is to be able to trace, describe and explain the differences between the pedagogical practices of Waldorf education and that of conventional Swedish schools.In the essay, a historical investigation of the main traditions of ideas behind the Swedish national curriculum is briefly carried out, where I swiftly present the educational philosophies of John Dewey (1859-1952) and Lev S. Vygotsky (1896-1934). Next, an investigation of the worldview and philosophy of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) is effectuated, where I attempt to bring to light Steiner?s anthroposophical and holistic worldview ? a worldview that throughout the 20th century has developed into an international and wide-ranging anthroposophical movement ? as well as his concepts of knowledge, science and educational philosophy.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur kristendomen konstitueras när text i ett antal skolböcker utgivna efter 2011 års kursplan för åk 7-9 behandlar livsfrågor. Studien tar ansats i ett diskursanalytiskt perspektiv grundat i diskursteori samt John Deweys transaktionsbegrepp. Det innebär att skolböckers texter identifieras i termer av diskurser vilka betraktats som deltagare i den verklighet som framträder för eleven. Inom detta perspektiv är en viktig utgångspunkt att på det sätt vi individer uppfattar oss själva och omgivningen styrs av och konstitueras i språket.  På så sätt kan skolböckernas språk genom text sägas konstruera verkligheten för eleven vilket i sin tur får konsekvenser för elevens förhållande till kristendomen och dess utövare. SammanfattningDenna studie ämnar till att bredda kunskap kring sexual debut i Rwanda, där forskning i en afrikansk kontext kopplar tidig ålder vid sexual debut samt föräktenskapligt sex till ett riskfyllt sexuellt beteende. Eftersom att risken för ökat antal sex partners samt oskyddat sex stiger, vilket kan leda till oönskade effekter så som sexuellt överförbara sjukdomar och oönskade graviditeter. Rwanda är ett land som drabbats hårt av HIV spridning framförallt som en konsekvens av oskyddat samlag. Därför anser vi att en studie kring sexuellt beteende är ett viktigt område att belysa. Uppsatsen avser att studera vilka faktorer som kan tänkas ha ett samband med ålder vid sexual debut, kontrollerat för om första samlaget skedde innan äktenskapet eller efter.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida tesen att läroböcker i ämnet religion i olika hög grad bär på islamofobiska tendenser stämmer. Frågan som författaren söker att besvara är: hur tar sig islamofobiska tendenser uttryck i läroböcker i ämnet religion på gymnasienivå? Den metod som används är syftesrelaterad textanalys, viket innebär att syftet styr analysen. Den analysmodell som används möjliggör analyserandet av förekomsten av islamofobiska tendenser. Vidare används analysmodellen för kartläggandet av öppna och stängda attityder gentemot islam och muslimer i de undersökta läroböckerna.
