Så funkar det i Sverige : En studie om föreställningar om kultur och etnicitet i integrationsprojekt finansierade av Europeiska Socialfonden

This study aim?s to examine how conceptions regarding culture and ethnicity influence the daily work of Personnel in integration projects financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). The method of this study was individual semi-structured interviews with nine persons working in three different projects. The reason why we have chosen these specific projects was because of their work with immigrant participants. Concepts that our study is based on was culture and ethnicity, but also the theory considering in-groups and out-groups.

Personer med Multipel Skleros upplevelser av att leva med sjukdomen, samt deras upplevelser av stöd och bemötande från vårdgivare : En intervjustudie

The aim of the study was to describe what it's like to live with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and experiences of social support and being received and met by health Personnel. The method was a qualitative interview study of descriptive design and was analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Three women and two men (26-75 years) with MS from two municipalitiesin central Sweden participated in the study. The main results showed that the participants felt the disease limited everyday life. The majority described feelings of injustice being affectedby the illness, but they now have a new perspective on life.

Undsättning, en skyldighet eller förmån : Sverige och Personnel Recovery?

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka varför Personnel Recovery som officiell funktion inteutvecklats och implementerats i det svenska försvaret. Den belyser också frågan som underlag fören diskussion om behovet av Personnel Recovery och dess utformning i Sverige.Graham Allisons teorier om organisatoriskt beslutsfattande har utgjort den vetenskapliga ramenför att förklara vad som kan ha påverkat beslutsprocesserna. Metoden har varit att pröva femstycken hypoteser kring varför försvaret inte utvecklat och implementerat Personnel Recovery. Ihypoteserna finns tankar kring rationalitet, standardiserat agerande, rivalitet, ekonomi och externtstöd. Hypoteserna har prövats mot resultatet från en kvalitativ granskning av olika källor, texteroch intervjuer.

Each year over 3000 children in Sweden lose a parent. The loss of a parent may cause some grave changes in a child?s life, leading to both mental and physical consequences. The purpose of this literature study is to examine the different ways in which health care Personnel can better receive and relate to children whose parents are dying or have passed away.Data was collected through such sources as Pubmed, Academic Search Elite and Cinahl, which resulted in the inclusion of sixteen subsequent articles, ten of which were quantitative and six of which were qualitative. Thirteen of the said articles illustrate how children act in response to a dying or deceased parent and what measures were needed for them to move on with their lives.

Föräldrars behov och uppfattning om information från vårdpersonalen när deras barn insjuknat i diabetes.

The aim of this literature review was to describe how the literature presents parents? need for information and how parents perceive the information from care Personnel when their child 0-18 years of age is diagnosed with diabetes. The literature search was performed in the databases PubMed and Cinahl. Thirteen articles that met the inclusion criteria were studied. The results showed that when a child is diagnosed with diabetes the whole family faces a new situation and the parents are in great need for adequate information from care Personnel to be able to deal with the new life situation and participate in the care.

The aim of this study is to examine if and to what extent the Personnel at the local school perceive offensive treatment through the social media among the students and what the Personnel thinks about the responsibility of the school to prevent this type of abuse. Offensive treatment through the social media has become a common occurrence among youth and affects health in both psychological and physical ways. As offensive treatment through the social media often takes place outside of school in the students spare time the responsibility of their health is unclear. But since it affects their school results the school has a responsibility to act, which is confirmed by legislation. However, the legislation does not mention offensive treatment through the social media and the school has no distinct guidelines to prevent this form of offensive treatment.

The purpose with this article is to give examples how to remain and in a long run develop a higher interest in maintenance activities and knowledge. Att arbeta med konflikthantering : implementering och undersökning av en form av fokusgruppsamtal i skolan

I have chosen an action research approach for this essay. I want to incorporate a method of conflict management in the work of the Personnel at a school and also discuss their thoughts and experience in conflict management. I wanted to incorporate modern knowledge about constructive conflict management for everyday use and I stress that if we can evolve these skills among the Personnel in schools then we have a better chance of helping children with deviant behavior which often end up in conflict because of it. This will also help all the other children and Personnel to manage conflict situations in a better way. I want to introduce a new way of thinking about conflict management which in many ways is different from how it is today. Briefly the method which I advocate revolves around paying attention to every ones basic needs and says that everyone can win and no one has to loose. he main purpose of this essay has been to find out if focus group conversations is a viable method for improving conflict management in the school system. Several of the participants has in their evaluations written that it was a rewarding and interesting way to work.

Abstract This report is our bachelor thesis. Our work has taken place at a galvanising company in Sölvesborg. The company faced major changes, of which one was a computerisation process. The new system could involve changes in work practice and in specific tasks, affecting the workers. If the coming system was to support work, from the production Personnel?s perspective, we felt a legitimate participation in the development and design of the future work practice, was a requirement that was not met.

Aims The aim of this study was to investigate how Personnel within food control are regarded from different perspectives and to find the answers to the sub questions:- what is included in the profession of food control?- what are the requirements for Personnel within the profession of food control?- how is the profession perceived from different perspectives?- how do Personnel within the profession of food control estimate their psycho social working conditions?Method The study included 68 individuals (34 female and 34 male) and was conducted via observations, web-based surveys and survey-based interviews. Conclusion - The study was feasible.- The overall goal of the study as well as the research questions were answered to and contributed to clarify what is included in the profession of food control. - Quality measures should be implemented to greater extent within the development of the national food control system..

The aim of this study was to examine how the feelings of ?being met? from Personnel can affect suicidal youth and their parents, when searching for help. Five Swedish parents share their experiences of ?being met? by Personnel regarding the care of their child who has taken their life. ?Face to face? interviews where done with four of the parents.

The main purpose with this MA thesis is to examine how visually impaired, disabled and people with dyslexia define service quality at the public library of Linköping. The method that has been used is focus group interviews. A focus group consists of four to eight people who are joined together, without knowing each other before, to discuss a certain subject. The aim is to get a wide spread of answers. A secondary purpose is to examine how this method works.

Introduction: Frequent attenders is a term used in health care services that define a person attending a health care setting more than four times during a 12 month period. Recently published research concerning frequent attenders in pediatric emergency departments describes their reasons for attending a health care service or characteristics of these individuals but lacks a qualitative approach exploring their experiences. There is a need of these experiences to be shared so that health care Personnel caring for this group may gain a greater understanding of their needs and expectations.Aim: The aim of this study is to describe how parents of children defined as frequent attenders experience the care received at a pediatric emergency department.Method: Qualitative approach with semi-structured interviews. A pilot study of four interviews was conducted to test the method. Sampling consisted of parents of children defined as frequent attenders and that were not diagnosed with a chronic illness.
