The purpose is to increase awareness of the importance of staff engagement in the work environment and how the organization works to engage employees to want to participate actively in the work environment.The questions we seek answers to in this study is the following:What affects the staff to engage in the work environment from a managementperspectiveAre there external factors that affect the organization and the individual's engagementto work with the working environment?We have create a model that is based on recent research to define our definition of engagement. The model contains four factors : Clarity, Advocacy opportunities, resources and feedback. The method we have used to answer the purpose in this study is ten qualitative interviews with persons with work environment responsibilities.The result shows that the engagement regarding work environment is important to get the employees to actively participate. To get the engagement from the employees the organizations need to provide, clarrity, advocacy opportunities, resources and give mutual feedback.
Miljöledning för underhållsteknik : Vilken miljökompetens behöver underhållspersonal?
The purpose with this article is to give examples how to remain and in a long run develop a higher interest in maintenance activities and knowledge. First reason is the changed age-distribution with more number of older employees among maintenance personnel staff and second reason is demand for education due the increasing demand in environmental responsibility.In spite of there is a lot of knowledge of maintenance in national organizations of interests it will not be used in a sufficient extent in many companies. This knowledge is an important base to use to re-built the missing or loosed skills in companies. The national organization UTEK is involved in European projects to validate knowledge of maintenance. Lost of or bad maintenance activities will always affect on the environment.Establish a network between companies is a good way to exchange information in their common business areas.

Under det senaste året har ett nytt koncept för utlåning av pengar mellan privatpersoner utvecklats på kreditmarknaden. Det består av ett nätverk där de som behöver låna pengar annonserar på internet hur mycket de vill låna och till vilken ränta. På motsvarande sätt lägger andra personer ut bud för utlåning. Då låntagare och långivare enats om belopp och ränta, sker en lånetransaktion mellan dem precis som i en traditionell bank. Background: The women who were called in for further examinations after a breast screening had all their examinations and test during one day. This organization has been conducted since 1993 in this clinic, but has not previously been evaluated. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the patients? experiences of the organization, in a radiologic breastcancer clinic, where all the examinations and the test-results were given at the same day. Method: An empirical quantitative study was performed.

Many persons with long-term illness experience a decline in their quality of life. Perceived Quality of Life is a subjective term based on prior personal experiences and is highly individual. The aim of this qualitative study was to investigate perceived Quality of Life in persons with Multiple Sclerosis and to get knowledge if physical therapy changes a person?s quality of life. Three women and three men with a range of disability were interviewed in depth.

Purpose/aim: To investigate individual experiences of how a new communication technology, e-mail, influences a) the structure of the internal communication ? does it for example make networking any easier? ? and b) the form of the persons everyday language.Material/method: A theoretical framework gathered through a literature study and empirical data gathered through interviews with two persons.Main results: Differences and similarities exist between the experiences studied in this paper. The most unexpected result is that the system of e-mail does not seem to be able to create new channels of communication. If anything, it reinforces the structure that already exist. Effektiviseringsmöjligheter på Tunadals sågverk : med innesäljarprocessen i fokus
The investigation was initiated because of the high workload of the sellers and, additionally, because the Tunadal sawmill has received low ratings in customer surveys. Thus, two main approaches are adopted here, the first being to investigate which of the three methods of working, namely, market divided flow organization, function organizationand flow organization with collaboration, proves to be the most beneficial. The second is to investigate whether there is an available method to ease the daily work. A literature review has been made in order to determine more efficient ways for the sellers to work in the Tunadal sawmill. During the investigation, an in-depth investigation into the total quality management using a balanced scorecard as a management tool was conducted.

The aim of this master thesis is to describe some general trends and important steps in the Swedish university libraries user-orientation from the implementation of the university college reform 1977 until today. The aim gave rise to four further questions. Literature studies and empirical studies in the form of focusing interviews have been carried out, in order to answer the questions. Of the entire background material I have made a simple form of general analysis. I found that the libraries, during the years have interacted with the following four interested parties, the government, the mother organization, other libraries and the library users.
En precisionsstudie av förstärkt verklighet som positioneringsverktyg
This study investigates augmented reality using third person perspective and what precision can be achieved by using this method. There have been prior studies in regards to precision using augmented reality, however studies using third person perspective is scarce. This study presents a solution using a static camera capturing the user as well as the plane to augment from behind. This augmented image is then transferred to a handheld device that is held by the user. Using this method the user will be free to manipulate and work with the plane without removing the device that captures the scene, a common problem when using visual reference markers in augmented reality.

The authors of this thesis have studied the handling of personal information in various kinds of organizations, because the perception is that the knowledge in this area is weak relative to the weight of the subject.The purpose of this paper has been partly to shed light on how knowledge of this area in the organizations that we have visited during the study but also to answer questions about handling, knowledge and security, and identification of individuals in different systems. What kind of problems the processing of these data creates and why these problems occur.In the beginning of our study we understood the importance of using the correct identifier and therefore chose also to examine what the various identifiers used by the organizations and why they chose these particular identifiers.In the qualitative analysis, Datainspektionen´s general rules and advice has been used as a basis together with the laws applicable to the organizations to get a good picture of how management of personal information is in these organizations.What we have found in this paper is that knowledge about how personal data is handled and what laws and rules are saying is very much dependent on how central the information is to these organization's activities. The police use so many different types of records for their organization to function well and they have very good knowledge of laws and regulations. In contrast, schools that do not handle as much of personal data themselves nor have the same knowledge among staff and do not have enough resources to cope with keeping the same knowledge base as the police. ABSTRACTIntroduction: An increasing number of patients undergo surgery under local anesthesia and are thereforeawake during the procedure. Nursing care that is provided to these patients can differ from those thatreceive general anesthesia. Previous research has focused on patients? general experiences of being awakeintraoperative. But there is no research that focuses on patients perceptions of security.
Upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person med en allvarlig kronisk sjukdom
Närstående till en person med allvarlig kronisk sjukdom lever med känslor av rädsla, ilska, ångest, maktlöshet och skuld. Även deras närståendes relationer påverkas och vardagen förändras. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva upplevelsen av att vara närstående till en person med allvarlig kronisk sjukdom. Det gjordes en litteratursökning där tio studier valdes ut, som analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i sex kategorier; att måste ta ett större ansvar i vardagen, att hitta sätt att hantera den nya situationen, att behöva stöd för att förstå och hantera sjukdomen och den sjuke, att känna sig otillräcklig, att sakna de relationer som har varit, att vara rädd och orolig inför döden och framtiden.
Hur människor tolkar handlingsförklaringar
Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur människor tolkar handlingsförklaringar beroende på bedömarens perspektiv och innehållet i handlingsförklaringen. Undersökningen genomfördes kvantitativt genom en enkätundersökning som baserades på en dialog mellan två personer. Den ena personen utför en handling vilket den andra personen ger olika handlingsförklaringar på. Handlingsförklaringarna delas upp mellan tre olika förklaringsmodeller vilka är skälförklaringar samt interna och externa bakgrundförklaringar. Varje handlingsförklaring följs sedan upp av frågor där respondenten får tolka den aktuella handlingsförklaringen.
