Hanterbara båtar is a new company who builds alumina boats customized for people in wheelchairs. Due to the fact that the company only built two boats yet, the production documentation is not complete. The drawing that does exist is not in an exact standard which makes production planning harder.The purpose of this work has been to make the production of the boat easier and simplify further development and modification. Product development in the form of optimizing details is also one of the main purpose of this work.This is all done by making a 3D-assembly of all the existing drawings. After this is done new drawings will be made and added to the main assembly.

Studiens bakgrund beskriver att kommunikation är sjuksköterskans viktigaste redskap. Andra faktorer som har betydelse för det korta mötet är tid, miljö, makt, bekräftelse och närvaro. Travelbee menar att för att förstå vad omvårdnad är och bör vara, måste man förstå vad som sker mellan patient och sjuksköterska, hur denna interaktion kan upplevas och vilka konsekvenser detta kan få för patienten och hans tillstånd. Syftet med studien var att identifiera faktorer som påverkade patientens upplevelse i det korta mötet med sjuksköterskan. Litteraturstudien baserades på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar vilka belyste patientens perspektiv.

This master thesis was written in the purpose to study how the location and access to computers in the physical realm of the public library reflects the undergoing changes in the public libraries role in Swedish society. This study is done in a form of a case study of three small public libraries. All of them were in the process of transforming both their physical and virtual space. The thesis focuses on where in the library the computers are placed and how their location interacts with the libraries main tasks. It also focuses on the analysis of the relationship between these two elements and how that relationship reflects the alteration of the public libraries place in society.

This Master s thesis deals with the display of library media, whether it is conceivable and desirable to draw inspiration from the retail business when displaying articles. The questions asked are: are there, in the retail sector, well established display ideas and - if so - what do they look like? Are the similarities in conditions, between the branches, sufficient? In conveying the ideas to libraries, are the potential differences not obstructive? Is there, among librarians, a positive attitude towards further development of library display techniques? The results were achieved by interviewing shop window dressers and librarians. In addition, a survey was sent to the library managers of 65 public libraries in southern Sweden. The results show that there are established ideas and methods of displaying materials, and that the ideas are manifested in frequently used techniques.

In this Master's thesis we investigate the collection management regarding fiction for adults. The apprehension of fiction has changed over the years. From the beginning it was considered to be mostly educational rather than being the purpose of entertainment. As for today these views are not opposites to each other. Regarding this we discuss the problem concerning terms of quality.

Mitt examensarbete har till syfte att undersöka lärares erfarenheter av hur elever dokumenterar och reflekterar över sin arbetsprocess och sitt färdiga slöjdföremål på textilslöjden i grundskolan. Den metod jag valt är den kvalitativa forskningsintervjun med öppna frågor för att få veta hur intervju personerna upplever att elever reflekterar och dokumenterar över sitt arbete. De personer jag valt att intervjua är fyra textilslöjdslärare. Jag har kommit fram till resultatet att de fyra lärarna anser att dokumentation och reflektion är viktigt, de upplever att muntlig reflektion pågår under större delen av lektionen. Undersökningen visar att eleverna dokumenterar i loggbok eller genom skriftliga utvärderingar, där de beskriver arbetsprocessen och visar vad de lärt sig.

This report contains a programming improvement work in a LabVIEW? fire testing furnace control system for SP Fire Technology in Borås. Here materials and products behaviour are tested and evaluated, being exposed to fire. For this task, UGNET is being used for control and surveillance of the testing furnace system. System hardware has been updated gradually through the years, while the software has been neglected.

Syftet med min uppsats är att undersöka vad SET-programmet och Livskunskap som ett schemalagt ämne är. Men även hur det är utformat och hur dess pedagogiska metod används i skolan. Med hjälp av kvantitativa enkäter och kvalitativa intervjuer ska jag ta reda på elevers i årskurs 7-9 och lärares inställningar till SET-programmet. Jag har kommit fram till att elever och lärare är positivt inställda till Livskunskap, men att det krävs ett långsiktigt arbete och välförbereda lärare för att uppnå tillfredsställande resultat. Många elever svarade att Livskunskapen inte hjälpte till att få en bättre arbetsmiljö, eftersom att många elever inte tar det på allvar.

This work has been carried out at a company in the region which has about 30000 employeeswith about 400 sites all over the world. The company outsources their network including theLAN refresh and the WAN migration. They needed help with an upgrade of their LAN at theirScandinavian headquarters and to find a new solution for their WAN. The reason why the upgradeof the LAN was needed was that the equipment was too old and did not pass the securityrequirements. They also required a solution to segment their LAN, which consisted of a singlelarge VLAN with 1,300 employees.

The aim of this master thesis is to study how academic librarians can overcome the gap between themselves and the user. The gap, as we see it, is generated by the user's deeper knowledge surrounding her subject in comparison to the librarian. This knowledge gives the user possibilities to handle certain discourses attached to the subject and a knowledge how sub-subjects relate to each other within the main subject. At the same time the user is in need of help to find information within her subject, this need needs to be explained to the librarian as a search expert. The scope of this master thesis is to find how the librarian, tactically, can reach the users need despite lack of subject knowledge.

The social community is structured around data, a lot of that data is stored in different types of databases. The meaning of this essay is to develop an interactive tool that will change the way database visualization is done, and also to research in which fields a tool of this type can be used. With the help of different methods we discovered areas where it could be of use, such as; presentation of a database, development and documentation of a database. The primary goal of the prototype was to make viewing of database structures easier, even people without prior database knowledge should be able to understand the structure. Project models have been developed to provide tools for the implementation and governance of projects, as well as means of learning, reflection and survey of individual projects. The aim of this thesis is to describe some general project models and their theory, and to describe practical, real-life examples of project models used within landscape architecture. The aim of this Master's thesis is to compare the 6th and the 7th editions of the classification scheme of the Swedish classification system (SAB) to reveal which principles are used concerning the development of this system during the period 1985-1997. Guiding questions are: What kind of changes has been conducted? How do these changes relate to development of other general classification schemes and to theories concerning revision work? The results of the analysis show that possibilities to use synthesis have increased by an extension of use of geographic and chronological subdivisions. The classification scheme has also been easier to use by elimination of parallel subdivisions and regularization of the scheme. To maintain stability revision is performed on selected subclasses.

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a serious postoperative complication and nurses should therefore observe symptoms in an early stage and implement preventive provisions, for example use of graduated compression stockings (GCS). The nurse is also responsible for making sure that ordinate GCS tried and used correctly by the patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the latest research regarding the efficacy of GCS in prevention of postoperative DVT and if there are any incorrectness in usage. And assess guidelines and recommendations for the usage of GCS. Method: Literature review.
