The aim with this master's thesis is to describe the work process with the graduation film Player, by a composers perspective and given conditions. It provides a detailed insight into how the work was done from the script stage to the end result, scene by scene reflecting about both the musical performance and the collaboration between the director and me as a composer. Today, about 15 to 20 percent of Sweden?s total emission of carbon dioxide can be traced to the household sector. By examining apartment blocks in a life cycle perspective, the origin of the carbon dioxide emission has been charted and analyzed. This information has been used to create a computational model that calculates the total emission of carbon dioxide from a specific apartment block. The results from the analyzed apartment blocks indicate that both the use of energy and the emission of carbon dioxide have been reduced since the 1960s. Through the examination of building materials, it is possible to lower the emission of carbon dioxide that origins from the construction phase of an apartment block.

This paper investigates and explains the existence of different governance structures in the Swedish film industry. Using a theoretical framework of transaction cost economics, it is shown that trust follows from frequent production projects, affecting the distributors? control of producers, cinemas, video retailers and television. Control becomes more flexible, informal and less time consuming. Furthermore, the control of the distributors? relationship with television and cinemas proves to be multidimensional and affected by transaction activities, as well as by demands from previous parties in the value chain.

Title: Go for it! - A study of anxiety in relation to students performing in ensemble class.This study discusses anxiety in relation to students in ensemble performance. The expectations on musicians are extremely high and demanding. They are expected to perform to the maximum of their ability despite both physical and mental pressure. I present in this study the result of the interviews I have performed with three students at Swedish Academies of Music. The study shows that all of the students included are in one way or the other suffering from anxiety in relation to performance.

Law firms are defined as knowledge-intensive companies. Due to the dependency regarding the resource of knowledge among the firms employees and to the fact that they often are categorised as a type of professional service firm. The purpose of this study is to investigate the different types of profitsharingsystems as a form of reward with focus on the theoretical differences and effects of the True Partnershipmodel and the Stockholmmodel. In addition to these models we will look into the Human Resource processes of; recruiting, integration, retaining and development of employees. The main purpose of the study is to examine the theoretical level on how the profitsharingsystems effect different Human Resource processes and through the knowledge of these connections using this as an analogy when to analyse other law-firms and knowledge?intensive company?s.

Approximately 4000-5000 hectares, of SCAÂŽs forest land area in VĂ€sterbotten, are in need of pre-commercial thinning (PCT) every year. Within the management district, the areas annually treated with PCT must increase, in order to decrease the area with an urgent need for PCT. This can be done by employing more forest workers or entrepreneurs, by mechanized PCT or by an extended season for PCT. Positive experiences from a private forest owner, who started to carry out PCT when the first snow came and then continued for several months, gave an idea to investigate the possibilities to prolong the season of PCT. The purpose of this experiment was to compare PCT carried out when there was snow on the ground with PCT performed when there was no snow on the ground.

Att enbart styra ett företag efter finansiella nyckeltal ansÄgs inte enligt kritiker förbÀttra omrÄden som kundnöjdhet, innovation, kvalitet, cykeltid samt motivation hos medarbetare. Balanserade styrkort anvÀnds som ett redskap för planering och uppföljning. Ett styrkorts frÀmsta syfte Àr att översÀtta strategiska mÄl och visioner till ett antal sammanhÀngande prestationsmÄtt. Dessa mÄtt delas in i olika perspektiv som vanligtvis Àr finansiella, kundfokuserade, processfokuserade och innovationsfokuserade.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka emotionella omvÄrdnadsbehov patienterna hade innan operation och hur sjuksköterskan pÄ bÀsta sÀtt kunde lindra dem. Metoden var en litteraturstudie baserad pÄ vetenskapliga artiklar med dels en kvalitativ ansats (n= 5) och dels en kvantitativ (n= 10). Artikelsökningarna gjordes via sökmotorn ELIN och databaserna CINAHL och PubMED. Artiklarna var etiskt godkÀnda samt publicerade mellan 2000-2010 och skrivna pÄ engelska. De granskades med hjÀlp av granskningsmallar.

Detta examensarbete utfördes pÄ Syntronics kontor i Linköping. De hade en idé om att göra en porttelefon med hjÀlp av ett kretskort som de sjÀlva utvecklat, Midrange-plattformen. Detta kretskort Àr till för att vara flexibelt och kunna anvÀndas till olika syften.De förutsÀttningar jag utgick ifrÄn var att fortsÀtta pÄ ett annat projekt som hade undersökt möjligheterna till att koppla in en videokamera till Midrange-plattformen. Jag skulle sÄledes fortsÀtta med samma hÄrdvara som de valt ut och anvÀnt.Min uppgift var att utveckla en Android tablet-app samt ta fram ett protokoll för överföring av bilder/video frÄn Midrange-plattformen till Androidappen.Resultatet blev en Androidapp och ett egendefinierat protokoll för överföring av bilder. Men dÄ problem uppstod med anvÀndningen av den kamera som jag fick gjordes istÀllet en simulerad version av Midrange-plattformen med inkopplad kamera..

This report presents a master thesis project performed at Elekta AB during the fall of 2013 and early 2014. Elekta is a medical technology company and their main product in the Stockholm office is a gamma knife used for radiosurgery. The gamma knife contains a cluster of a dozen motor servos and motors used for adjusting the patient and the radiation sources over a CAN bus. A self-developed hardware-in-loop simulator running on a PC with LabVIEW is currently being used for integration level testing of the control system of the gamma knife. The simulator has some problems with it not running in real-time and having other performance issues.
