This thesis treats the extended Swedish rules regarding deduction limitations on interest. The purpose for this thesis is to investigate whether the interest deduction limitation rules have potential to protect the Swedish tax base. The thesis also assesses whether the options presented how the extended rules could look liked had been better to protect the Swedish tax base. Furthermore thin capitalizations rules have been evaluated if this is a better method to protect the Swedish tax base.In 2009 the Swedish deduction limitations rules on interest came in to force to protect the Swedish tax base. Despite these rules companies was still able to avoid Swedish tax and therefore threatened the Swedish tax base.

Äldre yrkesverksamma är en ökande grupp på arbetsmarknaden. Det är inte ovanligt att stereotypa uppfattningar kring denna grupp resulterar i åldersdiskriminering. Det är även känt att människor förändras, både till det bättre och sämre, genom åren och att detta påverkar individens yrkesutövande. Sex grundskolelärare intervjuades med syftet att beskriva och förstå hur de ser på åldrandet, pensionen, hur de upplever att de utvecklats under åren samt hur de upplever att omgivningen ser på dem. Erfarenheter ansågs vara det mest positiva med att vara äldre medan distansen till eleverna var det negativa.

This is a case study influenced by Grounded Theory and Symbolic Interactionism. Its focus is on a small group of pupils isolated both geographically and socially from the ordinary school. The composition is written from the children?s perspective. Observations and interviews have made it possible to study both the interaction between the children and also the adults, how the children are described by the adults working with them and what expectations they have on the children.In the light of earlier research, our case study can be seen as an example how the school is dealing with the children?s problems.

This thesis analyses the problem of how to organise a multidisciplinary domain of knowledge like architecture. The study is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part include discussions of theories of knowledge organisation. Two different principles of classification were examined in relation to the domain itself, as well as in relation to the educational programme at the School of Architecture at Lund University and comparable schools in Sweden. The empirical part is a case study carried out at the School of Architecture at Lund University.

I denna rapport beskrivs arbetet med att ta fram en informationsfolder till Eskilstuna kommun som vänder sig till ungdomar. Syftet med informationsfoldern är att övertyga ungdomar om att Eskilstuna kommun är en attraktiv arbetsgivare och arbetsplats, då en stor del av kommunens anställda snart har gått i pension. Kommunen saknar sedan tidigare informationsmaterial som vänder sig till yngre invånare.Utformningen av foldern är baserad på budskapsstrategier, retorik och stilistik samt tidigare studier om Eskilstuna kommun, årsplan, styrdokument och intervjuer med anställda i kommunen. Rapporter om gymnasieungdomars värderingar, analys av informationsbroschyrer riktade till ungdomar samt fokusgrupp är ytterligare metoder som har legat till grund för framställningen av foldern..

Graphic profiles are a part of companies? brand expressions. The graphical values reflect the brand values the business wants to convey. They consist of different graphic elements such as logo, company sign, colour schemes, templates, rules, fonts, pictograms, formats and references to how different graphic elements should look, for example, business cards, signs and materials for websites. This thesis aims to examine why firms choose to replace their graphic profiles by studying their underlying motivations.

During year 2007 ClaraHälsan Ltd bought the company health service Solstahälsan in Karlstad. The wide merger of the two health services the problems arose around the employees? employment agreements when certain parts of the agreement differ. At a transition of a company, in this case a health service, the rights and obligations for the employees will pass on to the new employer according to directive 2001/23/EG who came in force in the swedish legal system in year 1995. The former employer is only responsible vis-à-vis the employees ?for economic obligations related to the time before the transition, the code of protection of employment 6 b §.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur tjänsteproducerande organisationer arbetar med intern marknadsföring. Tjänsteföretagets framgångar är starkt relaterade till hur väl fungerande den interna marknadsföringen är. Jag såg det därför som intressant att studera hur ett tjänsteföretag sköter sin interna marknadsföring och även i vad mån man använder belöningar eller andra motivationshöjare. Jag valde att utföra en fallstudie på fackförbundet Sif eftersom dom rimligen borde föregå med gott exempel gällande fokuseringen på intern marknadsföring samt bruk av en eller annan form av belöningssystem. Jag utförde en personlig intervju med den ombudsman som har som sitt specialområde just inom lön, pension och andra ersättningar.

Det gamla pensionssystemet (ATP) gjorde det möjligt för individer som levde och arbetade i Sverige mellan 1920 och 1960 kunde få en hygglig pension, när det pensionerades efter 1960. Av olika anledningar kan man numera inte garantera att det gamla systemet kommer att fungera i längden. Anledningen till detta beror framför allt på att det gamla systemet är inte finansiellt stabilt, inte har någon bra koppling till det samhällsekonomiska utvecklingen samt det försäkringsmässiga innehållet är svagt. Det gamla systemet tar inte häller hänsyn till att livslängden i Sverige har ökat och förväntas fortsätta öka. Förutom detta, vid tillväxt i ekominin förvandlas det gamla systemet successivt till ett nytt system utan koppling till tidigare inkomster.

Background: Mutual funds have become an important part of the Swedish deposit market. Savings in mutual funds add up to almost 20 percent of the households'assets. When the pension reform is carried out all employees are going to have savings both in mutual and bond funds. But only if the fund overperforms the market it is worth investing. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore if Swedish mutual funds have generated higher returns than market portfolio in the late nineties.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine how the European Union through the Directorate- General (DG) of Education and Culture, are calling forth a constructed sense of European identity amongst the citizens of the Union.It is a discourse analysis, which can be described in twofold. Firstly, it is a mapping of the European discourse; i.e. how the European Union defines the identity it seeks to mobilise. Secondly, it examines whether or not there are similarities in the European discourse of identity and the traditional nation-building discourse of national identity.According to this thesis a European identity is articulated in cultural terms, whereby its members are said to share the same values and a common cultural heritage.To bring the people of Europe closer together and to deepen awareness of their "common" history, the European Union encourages all manner of meetings and exchange schemes between Europeans. Although its goal is to develop a feeling of belonging to a shared culture, the EU is also keen to preserve the specific aspects of Europe's many cultures.

The aim of the study is to examine what upper secondary school students think that they themselves and their school can do to create a peaceful society. The study combine qualitative and quantitative methods based on questionnaires distributed among 328 students in three high schools in Sweden. The survey is a combination of multiple choice and open questions. For the analysis of quantitative responses the computer program SPSS was used producing frequency tables and response rate schemes. To analyze the questionnaire's qualitative part a narrative analysis method was used.

Den 1 januari 1998 infördes en ny lag när det gäller redovisning av pensioner i kommuner. Tidigare belastades resultatet med en kostnad när pensionspengarna utbetalades. Nu skulle kommunernas pensionsskulder som upparbetats innan detta datum endast redovisas med en not, som en ansvarsförbindelse. Detta medför att landets kommuner enligt lag ska inneha en skuld som inte ska ingå i balansräkningen.Vi har kommit fram till att kommunerna redovisar på olika sätt, vissa väljer att bryta mot lagen och lyfta fram hela pensionsskulden i balansräkningen medan merparten av de undersökta kommunerna väljer att följa lagen och på så sätt inneha en dold skuld i balansräkningen. Detta har medfört att en av kommunerna har en negativ soliditet när de räknar med den dolda pensionsskulden till pensionsskulden som redovisas i balansräkningen.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida individens nytta kommer att öka då flytträtten av pensioner återinfördes i Sverige. Till följd av ett EU-direktiv som syftar till att främja rörlighet av såväl kapital som arbetskraft, måste samtliga pensionsförsäkringar vara flyttbara vilket innebär att individen kan ta sitt förvaltade kapital från en kapitalförvaltare till en annan. Det har tidigare funnits flytträtt på pensionsförsäkringar i Sverige men dock långt ifrån alla pensionsavtal har omfattats. Samtliga nytecknade försäkringar måste inneha detta numera. Att flytta sitt pensionskapital är ofta förenat med diverse flyttavgifter vilka initialt kan te sig höga.
