The soybean can be used in multiple ways, and its high oil content makes it suitable for extraction. Soy bean meal, a by-product of the oil extraction, is a good source of protein with a high feeding value, and is therefore used in a number of different animal feeds. Further, soy bean meal has a low production price, which is one of the reasons for the extensive export of the product. There is a great demand for vegetable-based proteins, especially in the organic production where synthetic amino acids are banned. However, the current production of soy beans is not environmentally sound and that combined with the long transport distances amplifies the need of finding a locally produced protein source.

The character of a pattern carries through to the context in which it is placed. Each pattern tells a story. By interpreting our surroundingenvironments we become inspired, and the patterns in turn can become part of our own narratives. This project was fuelled by my fascination and desire to explore patterns. My method of exploration was based on prior knowledge of patterns and interior design.The question became how can I apply my knowledge of interior design to pattern design and how could I best translate the brief intoa language of colour and shapes? The aim was to develop my knowledge of pattern design as well as to use this opportunity to combine my design methods with those of a professional designer.

This thesis treats a new perspective in the theory of classification, the context-based approach. The aim is to find out what kind of value this new approach can have in the process of creating a classification scheme for a special library collection. The first question to be answered is how the context-based approach works in a real life. The second question investigates which role the research in this particular area might have. Illustrating a real-life situation, the unit of Rättsmedicinalverket in Linköping serves as the object of study.

I och med att Baby Boomers-generationen i allt större grad går i pension upplever företag och organisationer en ökande brist på kompetent personal. Detta har gjort att Generation Y, som ska fylla tomrummet som Baby Boomers lämnar efter sig, blir allt mer attraktiva för arbetsgivare. I media och ekonomiska tidskrifter blir vi ofta påminda om detta faktum, men frågan kvarstår, är det så att de arbetsvärderingar som Generation Y prioriterar faktiskt återspeglas på arbetsplatserna? I denna uppsats har en intervju samt en enkätundersökning genomförts på det för sin motivation prisbelönade företaget Concrete IT. Studien visar att det undersökta företaget återspeglar flertalet av de arbetsvärderingar som Generation Y värdesätter och bör anses vara attraktivt för Generation Y.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine posts on bookblogs about the book, Cirkeln by Mats Strandberg and Sara Bergmark Elfgren and see how it has distributed amongst readers through social media and reader response. We want through this examine whether bookblogs have a place in the literary society, and in such cases, how this may take place. The Swedish Online bookshops Adlibris and Bokus is being used to find the blogposts to be examined in this thesis. The analysis is being implemented using content analysis and constructed encoding schemes. Interdisciplinary topics, like LIS and sociology of literature may have similar points of contact, which we want to highlight with this thesis.

Uppsatsen behandlar små kunskapsföretags behov av kunderbjudande från sin bank. Kunskapsföretag har en annorlunda struktur än de ?traditionella? företag som en bank vanligtvis hanterar eftersom värdeskapandet sker genom kunskap. Följden blir att det sällan finns behov av stora investeringar hos kunskapsföretag och de investeringar som görs sker med redan intjänade medel. Föreningssparbanken har därför haft en önskan att fördjupa sina relationer med kunskapsföretag för att kartlägga vilka behov som finns av bankens tjänster.

Sjuttiotalisterna står närmast att ta över chefpositionerna när 40-talisterna går i pension och ingår i den generation som ofta benämns Generation X. Generationen Babyboomers och Generation Y var de generationer som föddes innan och efter Generation X. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka 70-talisters attityder kring arbete och chefskap. Efter åtta kvalitativa intervjuer, genomförda på ett bank- och finansbolag, utfördes en deduktiv-induktiv tematisk analys. Resultatet visade att intervjupersonerna föredrog en balans mellan arbete och privatliv, prioriterade kreativitet och autonomi i arbetet, sökte efter en engagerad, positiv och rak chef samt ett företag med många möjligheter till utmaningar.

In electricity markets evolving towards liberalisation and internationalisation, green certificates are seen as an important tool to promote production of renewable energy. In a green certificate market producers sell certificates received per unit of electricity generated from renewable energy. Trade in renewability is thereby decoupled from the the physical electricity trade. Tradable green certificates in combination with renewables obligation are implemented or planned in several EU member states. Integration at EU leveland the creation of a common certificate market seem like a possible next step.

The Sheep is the oldest livestock, and has been in Sweden for 4-5000 years. Thanks to that you can obtain skin, as well wool and meat. Therefore it was an important animal. Sheep production has increased, strongly lately due to the pasture support. The purpose of this paper is to find out what kind of different EU-subsidies you can get and to compare the subsidies in Öland and the main land. Sheeps are very good conservationist with grass, bushes and herbs, because of different grazing lands hardness and growth is it important to control the pasturage strain. A good way to regulate this is to have different enclosed pasture to switch between. I have been studying the different EU-subsidies.

Nature?s Best is a quality-label for Swedish Eco-tourism. It is one of very few active ecotourism labels and the only one that claims quality as its main focus. The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the certification scheme Nature?s Best with regards to the values the certification creates for the companies that certify their products.

Nuvarande pensionssystem kan sägas bygga på tre delar, dels allmän ålderspension som tillhandahålls alla som har bott och arbetat i Sverige genom socialförsäkringssystemet, dels tjänstepension som kompletterar den allmänna pensionen, vilket utgör utfästelser till viss pensionsrätt av arbetsgivare gentemot sina anställda. Utöver detta kan var och en välja att spara till sin pension privat, antingen genom en pensionsförsäkring eller individuellt pensionssparande. Ett sådant privat sparande är för vissa av ytterst stor vikt, exempelvis för den som driver enskild firma och därmed inte är anställd och berättigad tjänstepension. Även för dom som genom sin anställning erhåller tjänstepension kan ett privat pensionssparande vara av stor vikt, om inte annat för att dryga ut sina inkomster efter arbetslivets upphörande.

At Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB (FKA) forces on pipe systems due to transient flow are frequently calculated as a step to verify their structural integrity. In nuclear industries these forces are often calculated with a one dimensional thermal-hydraulic analysis-code called RELAP5. When calculations regarding more complex geometries are needed, the three dimensional code Fluent is often used. This code is highly time consuming and requires large computational power.This projects aim is to compare calculations of pressure, flow and forces carried out by RELAP5 and Fluent for an arbitrary pipe section during transient flow conditions. This has been accomplished by constructing a simple geometry for which a transient flow is simulated in both programs.

Att gå i pension kan innebära en stor förändring i livet för en människa.Vissa upplever pensioneringen som något negativt medan andra ser det som enchans att få tid för sig själv och sin omgivning. Att lämna arbetslivet kanmedföra att vi äntligen får tid att sysselsätta oss med det vi alltid drömtom, men inte haft tid för. För att en människa ska behålla sin hälsa ochsitt sociala välbefinnande är det viktigt att hon fortsätter vara socialtaktiv. Syftet med denna kvalitativa studie var att ta reda på hur pensionärer upplevt pensioneringen samt vilken inverkan pensioneringen haft på deras sociala liv. Åtta intervjuer har genomförts med nyblivna pensionärer där intervjupersonerna fick berätta fritt om sina erfarenheter av att bli äldre.

In the last decade, member states of the European Union have adopted a range of measures to decrease the dependency on fossil fuels. This has led to an increased use of biomass in heat and power production. In some countries, the lack of forest resource has led to large scale power producers importing their biomass needs. Due to high energy content and homogeneity, wood pellets have become an internationally traded commodity used for large scale power production. The Baltic States have emerged as one of the largest wood pellet exporting regions in Europe.
